Sudden Explosion

"Gah!"

Pu Zhen collided with the wall and coughed out blood while holding the metal rod. He pushed the metal rod to the side with all of his force and smashed the person holding the metal rod to the walls. At another side of the rod, the person was wearing a black veil over his face and a black robe over his body.

"Bastard! Who are you?" Pu Zhen roared as he throws away the metal rod and rushed towards the man in a black robe. But, suddenly another man appeared from the window to his side. That man thrusts his fist towards Pu Zhen's face but suddenly, a figure stood between them.

Bam!

His fist struck Gu Chen's chest, almost making him cough out blood. But, Gu Chen instantly grabbed his hands and a crazy expression appeared on his face. He lifted that man by holding his hand and smashed his body on the ground.

Bang!

The man in the black robe coughed out blood upon the collision and instantly passed out.

"Village Chief Pu, it seems you have some enemies that dare to attack you like this." Gu Tan walked towards them while looking at the bodies of two men in black robes. He was also confused why these weak people would try to attack Pu Zhen.

"Thanks for the assistance!" Pu Zhen didn't reply to Gu Tan instead showed his appreciation to Gu Chen. Then, he looked at those bodies as well and spoke "They must be from Black Stone Village."

"Black Stone Village?" Gu Tan and Gu Chen stared at him with confusion.

Pu Zhen paused for a while before saying anything. He looked at them and sighed "Since we are going to form an alliance, it wouldn't be a problem to share this with you. In fact, there is a Spirit Vein between our village and Black Stone Village."

Just he tried to convince her, their bodies instantly exploded as the black flames erupts out of their bodies. Gu Chen was the first to react as he covered Gu Tan's body tightly. Pu Zhen also reacted but at this moment, three of them were already fallen into the explosion.

The explosion startled the entire village as a few guards also got caught up in the explosion.

While others were bringing those things, Pu Zhen and Gu Chen walked out of the flames.

But, as soon as they walked out, Gu Chen's eyes closed as he fell to the ground. After getting unconscious, his arms opened and Gu Tan hurriedly slides out of his embrace.

As soon as he falls to the ground, he rushed near his dad and tapped on his neck.

"Phew! That's good." He found his dad was only knocked unconscious. After sighing a breath of relief, he released his internal energy and started healing his father.

Pills are the specialty of Alchemist. Healing Pills are created to heal certain injuries of the people. It can't bring people back to life but it can heal some minor injuries.

His dad was also given a healing pill but unlike Pu Zhen, he didn't get many. After all, Healing Pills are created by Alchemist and there are no Alchemist in the Yellow Stone Village which means they have to buy it from other cities.

There are five major sects and three major guilds which are located at the Royal Capital. But, they have many sects under them. When a sect is established, it normally gets under one of the sects based on the preference of the sect master and the decision of the major sect.

Looking at the burning crumbles of houses, Gu Tan couldn't help but think.

'That was definitely Suicide Art from Mad Demon Sect. But, Black Stone Village can't recruit their disciples, especially for suicide. Does that mean some of their teenagers are the disciples of the Mad Demon Sect? Hmm! They do have the Martial Soul of Darkness which fits the Mad Demon Sect but they should be from those subsidiaries sects.'

'There are no way disciples from the main Mad Demon Sect would go on a suicide mission. Every disciple who can enter the main sect is a genius from the entire kingdom. I guess I understand why Pu Zhen doesn't want to make a direct conflict.'
