'Golden Bell Technique- Soul Barrier!'

Gu Tan instantly activates his technique and the soul power burst out of his body. It was bright like the sun's rays but due to it being the soul power, nobody except for him could see it.

"What happened?" Gu Chen looked around searching for the source of the sound but found nothing. Those spies also tried to find it but ultimately failed. Gu Tan still had a calm expression.

"Dad, I just created a barrier to hide our voice. You can sense them, right?" Gu Tan explained to his father while asking him.

"Oh! Nice, you are indeed good for being cautious. But, how did you discover them? Is this a secret technique that your master taught you? Is it possible to teach me?" Gu Chen surprised expression faded away when his son confessed his doing. Instead, he asked his son to teach this technique to him.

"Actually, it's not a technique. Dad, do you know about soul power?" Gu Tan asked just in case his father didn't know.

Gu Chen nodded his head and spoke "Actually, I wasn't supposed to know. But, your mother gave me a lot of lessons about cultivation when I was fifteen. She taught me a lot."

These words were simple. He acknowledged his son and his talent. He felt happy and Gu Tan should get that. But, when Gu Tan heard his words, for a moment of time, he paused. He couldn't speak. Shock and disbelieve covered his heart and mind.

His father hated his master. No matter how much progress he showed, no matter how good he became. His father never praised his master. And, he thought that's for the best. Because that master was just a lie that he told to his parents.

A lie of a child! He hoped, no, he believe his father's view on his master will never change. And, that's satisfied him. But, now, he suddenly felt emotional.

Lie! This is the thing that he didn't want to use. But, there are things that can't be said. There are things that need to be covered. And, Lie was the backbone for these things. At this moment, his father caused a crack in that backbone.

He felt an urge. He felt he should tell his father that was a lie. But, he couldn't tell anything.

Death of his parents! Slaughter of his Village!

He wanted to change this future. He promised himself to keep his family safe no matter the condition. And, this is the only way. He can't change the future if he tries to change something more by himself. He is already scared of the consequences of everything that he has changed till now.

At this moment, a slight mistake and future could be repeated again.

Dao of Time!

But, he can't do it now. Because he needs to dual cultivate with the girl with Yin Body to create Chaos Energy and charge the bead. And, until he reaches eighteen, he can't do it. So, he must prevent himself from taking a big action until he starts charging up his bead.

This is why Nine Yang-Nine Yin Creation Technique is essential. He had already found the necessity of this bead when he was four. He just didn't know how it worked. But now, he has the theory of this bead.

It helps him stay away from Absolute Point in Time. And, since this is a supreme treasure, he can keep changing his timeline while using it to stay from Absolute Point in Time until the day where he can completely control Dao of Time without backlashing.
