Chapter 7 LILY'S PLANT

"You know we will get fat if we eat fast food everyday." Sarah pointed at the half-eaten burger on her hands.

"BUT IT TASTE GOOD! and also it is near my house."

After they have finished eating Luis proceeded to edit the video that they recorded earlier while Sarah continue watching tv.

"Why did you want to go the jungle and harvest some Lily's yourself? You can just buy it on the market, you clearly don't lack money!" She really can't bear anymore and ask the question that has been bugging on her mind since earlier.

"It is not about having money it is about how we did it ourselves, and also my viewers are getting bored and want some new things happening on my videos." Shrugging his shoulders while editing the last seconds.

Sarah rolled her eyes while complaining to herself why did she joined on his weed pulling.

"Why is this called Lily's plant anyway?" Luis asked.

"Oh in the past when Gods can be asked by anyone if they go to the temples, an old man prayed for a whole day for his son's illness. It said that his son was suffering from uncontrollable twitching, a high fever and I forgot the rest but anyway his prayer was answered." She take a sip of yogurt before she continued on her story.

"The temple he prayed was the Temple of the Goddess Lily. She is also the Goddess of health and fertility.

It was stated that the Goddess advised the old man to go to the forest and pick some bluish grass with 3 pointed ends. Boil it for an hour and make the patient drink the water.

His son got healed after two days of drinking that medicine. Then many people received the news and later named it Lily's Plant." After telling the story Sarah tidied the mess on the coffee table and threw the wrappers on the garbage bin.
