Music Video In Progress

On the day of the shooting for Shen Wuying's music video, Lin Xiaohui was told to come on set dressed as casual as she could. Both her outfit and makeup would be done by a group of professional teams that was working on set so that she would match with the theme of the song.

When she arrived, she was led to the women's fitting room, where she was greeted by Fu Yulan. There were several women of all ages sitting around, all chatting with each other. They all went silent when Lin Xiaohui entered however.

"Miss Xiaohui, hello!" Fu Yulan smiled.

Lin Xiaohui's eyes lit up in excitement and she was just about to run up to Fu Yulan. In a split second, she changed her mind and quickly composed herself. This was her first time ever working in a professional environment. There were several people in the room staring at her weirdly, and she knew they were making their own judgements about her as they watched what her next move would be. She wanted to leave a good impression on them.

"Hello everyone. I'm Lin Xiaohui. I will be working with you all for a few days, please take care of me!" She politely introduced herself.

The intense air in the room was then replaced by warmth. Lin Xiaohui was confused.

They all said hello to her and and she could swear she heard a few of the women sigh in relief.

"Heya!! Sorry about that! The other girl we're working with started yelling at us the moment she walked in, so we were scared you would be like her haha…" A pretty blonde haired girl came up to shake her hand. She was dressed in all pink and had her hair done into pigtails. Lin Xiaohui noticed this girl was a foreigner.

"I'm Daisy! Nice to meet you!"

"That's the designer who you will be working with. She came to China with her team to promote their fashion designs. She is actually the maker of the outfits today." Fu Yulan stepped up and introduced the two of them.

"In that case, it's nice to meet you too, Miss Daisy. Your Chinese is very good." Lin Xiaohui complimented. "Oh, and your outfit. You look very adorable."

Upon hearing this, Daisy's cheeks flushed a rosy pink color, akin to her dress. Lin Xiaohui froze.

Oh my god!

How cute!!!

Wait!

Aren't foreigners more open to gays?

Could Daisy possibly be…

"Sorry if I'm awkward.. even though I work in the fashion industry, it's really hard being around gorgeous people. You're the prettiest person I've ever seen!" Daisy stammered out.

Lin Xiaohui laughed. This girl was so cute!

"It's no problem. Do you want to exchange contact information?" She made her move.

Daisy's face glowed as she nodded aggressively.

"Yes please!"

After exchanging phone numbers and following each other on social media, Fu Yulan announced it was time to start shooting. Shen Wuying had just arrived and was currently getting ready in the men's room.

Lin Xiaohui then got to acquaint herself with the other girls and in no time she was laughing with them as they did her makeup. Daisy then revealed to her the outfit she would be wearing and Lin Xiaohui gave her and endless amount of compliments.

"You are so talented! If only you were my personal designer."

While she was definitely flirting to test the waters, she did admit that Daisy's designs were out of this world. Although the outfit she would be wearing was simple, it was so well put together and gorgeous. The vibes it gave off fit her greatly.

"Really? Thanks!! I worked hard after seeing your pictures! I wanted you to like it!" Daisy blurted out before slapping herself in the mouth and blushing.

Just as Lin Xiaohui was about to say something, Fu Yulan told everyone to hurry up and come out since Shen Wuying had another place to go right after this shooting. Lin Xiaohui quickly did her makeup and was rushed outside to where the others were.

Once she stepped out, she could see that a beautiful man was talking to another beautiful woman. One was dressed in all black, the other in all white. It was Shen Wuying and Zhong Yanmei.

Speaking of Zhong Yanmei.. wasn't the shooting of this music video where she first began to commit all her evil acts? Lin Xiaohui pondered. Could she possibly do something to stop it from happening?

"Jiejie!" Shen Wuying's voice woke her from her thoughts. He was waving at her.

She waved back and he gestured for her to come to him. Zhong Yanmei glared at her as she walked closer.

"Hi." Lin Xiaohui said.

She swore she saw Zhong Yanmei roll her eyes.

…

Although you don't like me, is it too difficult to at least put up a front…

"This is so exciting! My girlfriend and my unrequited lover are both here at the same time!" Shen Wuying suddenly laughed.

The joke was innocent, really, but Zhong Yanmei did not seem amused. Lin Xiaohui was internally begging Shen Wuying to shut up before her image worsened in Zhong Yanmei's heart.

"Jiejie, did you listen to my song?" His eyes were wide in anticipation.

Lin Xiaohui laughed and said, "Of course."

"I hope you liked it." He told her. "The lyrics are very genuine to how I feel deep down."

Lin Xiaohui wanted to ask what he meant by that, but the three of them were suddenly interrupted by the director. He explained that they were ready to shoot and elaborated on what exactly Lin Xiaohui and Zhong Yanmei needed to do on certain parts.

Lin Xiaohui was up first.

Lin Xiaohui was told to stand a few feet away from Shen Wuying as he looked longingly at her figure. It was then that she saw Daisy watching them from the corner of her eyes. The blonde girl gave her a grin and a thumbs up.

You are mine ]

Zhong Yanmei was acting out an argument with Shen Wuying now. Lin Xiaohui wasn't doing anything during this part, so she secretly smiled at Daisy and the two of them exchanged meaningful looks.

[ Yet the one I want

Is another I'll love ]

As this was sung, Lin Xiaohui's attention turned to Zhong Yanmei. With her makeup and outfit done, Lin Xiaohui really could admire how beautiful she was.

She couldn't tell what it was, but she felt like she couldn't take her eyes off Zhong Yanmei.
