Someone's life on line

Sebastian can't help himself peeking at her cheeks, her cheeks were so soft like feathers. After the kiss on her cheeks, he caressed her soft cheeks, with a playful smile on his face.

Sarael felt the touch and opened her eyes; she saw Sebastian caressing her cheeks in a caring way. Thinking that she was dreaming about him, she closed back her eyes and fell into a deep slumber.

Sebastian stopped breathing for a minute when he saw Sarael opening her eyes. He didn't even know what he would say if she asked why he was there caressing her cheeks but after seeing she closed her eyes again and went into a deep slumber, he sighed in relief.

It was a close call, he was about to get busted because of his heart. His heart someday will get him in trouble.

He got up from there and left the room before his heart told him to do anything else.

It was evening when Sarael woke up, the college library was open for twenty fours a day so many students were still there studying and reading. She got up rubbing her eyes.

She really had a weird dream that Sebastian kissed in her cheeks again when she was sleeping there and was caressing her cheeks with a gentle smile in his face unknown of the fact that it was not a dream, it was true.

It was true that Sebastian kissed her on her cheeks when she was sleeping but she thought it was a dream as for someone like Sebastian who was on top and someone like her who was nothing compared to him can only dream about it.

In front of other girls she had nothing, no good figure,no money or something else. She had ordinary looks even though she didn't look ugly but the other girls in the university looked far better than her.

Sarael went to her dorm, took a shower to freshen up. It was a long and tiring day for her. She lays down on her bed after the shower and checks her phone. She got messages from her family asking if she was fine. After replying to those, she got one more message in the university group chat about the fresh year party tonight. She got up from the bed immediately seeing the message. She completely forgot about it, she didn't even want to go to the party. Parties was not her type, she likes to be in peace and tranquil more than in a noisy place surrounded by people. She ignored the message and laid down on her bed. For her it was better to be in her bed than going for a party.

She stayed on her bed until hunger struck her. She has not eaten anything after breakfast in the early morning. She got up from the bed and went to the kitchen to look for some food.

She found some chicken breast and some vegetables in her fridge. She was not sure what to cook. She remembered about her mother's tso chicken. She looked at ingredients once again and after seeing she had everything, she started to cook her dish.

It looked delicious, having a brown color. She took out some rice with the chicken to her bed. She switched on her laptop and switched on a drama.

She was drowned in her drama that she didn't notice the noises coming from outside. For her it was heaven then going to a party crowded by a lot of people that she didn't know.

She is not a social butterfly, from earlier only. Even in her whole life till now, Misty was her only friend she had. If it's not Misty, she always stays alone reading or watching something. It was like a routine for her.

After finishing up her dinner, she got up from her place to keep the utensils in the kitchen. She was about to wash dishes when she heard noise coming from behind. She turned around to look at it. Just then, a hand came and held her lower face tightly, so she couldn't make any noise.

She became nervous when she felt the hand. She looked at the face, it was Sebastian covered in blood. She noticed that even his hands were covered in blood. Sara freaked out seeing him like that, she tried to remove his hand from her face so she could say something.

"Don't say anything. Shhh" Sebastian said to her. He was breathing heavily and looked as if someone was following her. Sarael nodded thinking he was in trouble. She stays silent even when her eyes rest at a place. She looked at Sebastian from top to bottom and saw he was holding his lower abdomen by his other hand. It is still bleeding.

She tried to look out but Sebastian didn't allow. He went towards the door to check if they were gone or not. Seeing they are gone, he sighed in relief. But he couldn't hold it anymore, his injury was painful every passing minute and he already lost too much blood and energy trying to run away from them.

He lost his balance and also his consciousness. Seeing him having trouble, Sarael went close to him to help him and tried to hold him straight. He was heavier than Sarael thought.

After putting him on the bed, Sara was exhausted, she was sweating and out of breath. It was more difficult than she thought it would be.

Sarael looked for her phone to call the hospital, but Sebastian stopped her.

"Don't call. I will tell you the method you use." Sebastian said to her. Sebastian was in business administration but he had already got a degree in medical so he knew about treatment but Sarael didn't even know most of the medical things, she had just started her class and she had never stitched someone's injury. She had to learn more before trying to stitch on cuts.

"I...I can't." Sarael didn't agree to him. She will mess up if she does, and if someone 's life is on line she will not take any risk.
