The Land of Wave

The morning after the mission debriefing Naruto was standing next to the village gate, waiting for the rest. Kakashi was of course late but only by ten minutes.

Once they gathered they exited the village and started heading east "We are heading to the land of waves first" Naruto started "there will be a few ninja there working as mercenaries trying to gather funds for the rebels in the land of water's civil war. We are to establish contact and proceed from there towards Kirigakure. Any question?"

Asuma asked "who hired them?"

"A corrupt businessman is currently in control of the land of waves. His name is Gato and he hired bandits as well. Currently he monopolises the shipping industry through his control over the land" Naruto explained

"Are we going to help?" asked Gai being the youthful good guy he is

"We? No. me? Yes" answered Naruto "I will use [Multi-Shadow Clone Jutsu] to create about twenty clones to go hunting"

"Isn't that going to drain your chakra?" Asuma asked concerned

"I can create a couple thousand clones and be okay. Don't worry" Naruto says with a shrug "for now though why don't you tell me what your skills are and I'll tell you mine"

The trip continued throughout the evening, at night Naruto took night watch and informed the rest he doesn't really need sleep. In the morning they continued the trip till the borders of the land of waves

"Stop, give me a sec" Naruto says then lifts his hand in front of him towards the puddles at the side of the road. The puddles converge and solidify into two figures that Naruto pulls to face him "we are here to meet Zabuza, we can help with the war efforts"

They looked apprehensive so Naruto used [Mind Rule] and convinced them to lead him to Zabuza's hide out.

As they entered they saw Zabuza standing there with his sword in hand waiting for them "what does Konoha want with me?" he asks, probably having Haku see the whole thing was a good thing

"We are here to help" Naruto say in a placating way "we caught an attack by some Kiri ninja and we believe they were sent by the fourth Mizukage's. I can't reveal any more information about the attack but Konoha is now part of the war" he finishes seriously

Zabuza takes a minute to think. His eyes never leaving them and his guard never down "and your village chose to send you four? We may need more than four Jonin people to end the war"

"You only really need one person" Kakashi says in his usual lazy manner "we just need to remove the Fourth Mizukage from the playing field and the rest will follow"

"And who among you can take a perfect Jinchuriki?" it is common knowledge that the fourth has perfect control over the three tails Bijuu

Everyone present turned to Naruto "I can take care of it and make sure h- it never comes back" he nodded

"And I'm supposed to take your word for it?" Zabuza asks incredulously

*sigh* "it's never easy with you people is it" Naruto says while the Jonin behind him suddenly had exited looks in their eyes

Naruto proceeded to walk some distance from them, then made a few unneeded hand seals before shouting "wood release: rising forest" what followed was a scene of trees breaking from the ground around Naruto and growing to be as big as a skyscraper (not that they knew what that is)

Naruto had told the Jonin about his ability to use the six chakra transformations and wood release as well as his ability in the use of genjutsu. Considering the most powerful ninja hailed in the village was the first Hokage who also used wood release which they only ever heard of. One can understand their excitement.

Zabuza was floored. This is the kekkai Genkai that was able to suppress the tailed beasts. Originally one of the most powerful to ever exist… and they had it on their side.

"Haku" he called. Haku appeared at the side of Zabuza "get ready we're heading to Kirigakure tomorrow" Haku nodded and vanished again

"Great, this gives me enough time" exclaimed Naruto then creating twenty shadow clones all of which nodded to Naruto and disappeared naruto then turned to the rest who were looking at him with awe, which he ignored, and addressed them "we'll rest tonight accompanying them. That should be enough time to kill Gato and his men. You don't mind do you Zabuza?"

"I was in it to help my village. I would've come back to finish the job if you didn't" Zabuza replied with a shrug

"Great" replied Naruto in an upbeat manner.

He wasn't going to kill all of them as most will be sent to Sparda to assist in the 'Bloodline transfer' research. Orochimaru has reached a block and needs to start human experimentation to cross it. And who better to do them on than murderers and rapists.

The next day the village on the west side of the village woke up to the sight of Naruto crouched down on one knee with his eyes closed in concentration. He remained that way for a while then he opened his eyes and made a few hand signs before exclaiming [Cement release: concrete wall] as he did that a huge grey wall that looks made of stone rose in the air to extreme height. Naruto then proceeds to create several clones and sends them toward a now noticeable pillar in the middle of the sea. He then pushes the wall, tilting it towards the clones. As Naruto is using [Gravity release] to lower the wall slowly the wall looks like it is falling in slow motion. Once he was done he repeated the wall creation and then floated it towards the first pillar and then lowered it again. The process was repeated three more times before reaching the land of fire. The clones then went to the connection points and melded the concrete plates to each other and created railing for the bridge while Naruto rested at the beginning of the bridge he just created.

"What was that?" asked Asuma while aproching Naruto

"that was [cement release] it combines earth, fire, and water, and [Gravity release] which combines earth, wind and lightning" answered Naruto while enjoying the morning sun" this opens another trade method. The people of wave won't be isolated anymore

"What is your name Sir?" asked an elder gentleman who heard their conversation

"Naruto Uzumaki, at your service" answered Naruto knowing full well where this is headed.

The elder turned towards the crowd that has gathered and announced "this bridge was created by a man who wishes to save us from Gato and as such the bridge shall be named after its creator Naruto Uzumaki" he then raises his hand towards it and says "as of today this bridge shall be known as the great Naruto Bridge" this garnered a lot of cheers and many thanks.

Naruto just smiled and waved, before signalling Asuma that they're going. They both body flickered until they reached the place they spent the night in.

When they got there he saw everyone ready to depart "sorry for the delay. Is everyone ready?" at their nods he turned to Zabuza "lead the way"

Zabuza complied and started heading towards his home as fast as he can. He now has hope to save his people from that Madman.

He will not fail.
