Killing the Hero

A week after the discovery of the 'Not bacon' pork tree, Dante was listening to the report on the summoned.

"Several people already reached level 2 as all-rounders already. Did you know that Wick is a master swordsman? And his mental fortitude helps as he has learned three spells already…" Solo continued to gush like a fan girl

Dante cut him off after a few minutes "that's great Solo, really, but we should probably cover others too... maybe sometime today…" Dante said with a clear teasing tone causing Solo to actually blush 'I think this is the first time I saw Solo actually blush, John Wick and his miracles I guess' Dante mentally shrugged

"Right, uh, all individuals are settled in and…" this continued for the next hour or so until a call came to Solo "yes… I see… keep your position and update" he then hung up and turned to Dante "the Hero faction has been sighted in Kyoto, have you made a decision?"

Dante sighed; he wasn't sure whether to kill them imprison them or recruit them "what do you think Solomon?" Dante asked

"They should die" Solo said with conviction, when he saw me hesitant he continued "first of all, they say they want to protect humanity or whatever, but then go and join the racist devils who want nothing more than to rule over humanity" he then paused to take a breath then continued "then there is the fact that they want to MIND CONTROL Yasaka to open a portal and summon THE APOKALYPS DRAGON and fight it in the MIDDLE OF KYOTO" Dante flinched as Solo laid the facts "the dragon which is said to be so powerful that it's aura can kill week devils… IN THE MIDDLE OF KYOTO. Fuck intentions, kill the fuckers before they cause an apocalypse" Solo finished

"Fine… let's end this" Dante decided to handle it himself, his shadows can finish it themselves, but he was wanted the sacred gears, and none of his shadows can separate them from the wielders

Cao Cao has a bad feeling, he was rarely wrong about these feelings too, which added more to his tension. The absence of their leader's usual relaxed demeanour caused the rest of the faction to go on guard as well, it didn't help.

Dante wasn't taking any chances with the strongest true Longinus and the Glitch sacred gear Dimension lost, so he snuck into their base of operations (rented house) and used [poison release: Hidden death] which releases an odourless, colourless airborne toxin in the vicinity of the person releasing it. The strength of said toxin can be controlled based on the amount of power infused into it.

Once Dante made sure everyone was knocked out, he started removing the sacred gears. He removed all but one person's and sent him to Sparda while he finished the job… he didn't like it, but the fact they brainwash people into joining was the nail in the coffin, and today, the hero faction ends.

Dante took the names he got from Cao Cao and gave them to his shadows. The list of names contained people from the church, from governments, from the mafias and from enterprises… tomorrow the world will be a lot emptier

Leonardo is the youngest member of the Hero faction. He joined them when he was ten after Cao Cao took him from his abusive family. He never truly felt the faction was family, but it was the closest thing the boy has, and now he was told they were all killed… he expected to be more upset, so why wasn't he?

"Are you ok Leonardo?" asked him the yokai faction leader gently "they did do a number on you" she said to the confused boy

"What do you mean?" he asked her

"You are a smart kid, kid. What do you think she means?" asked his 'ancestor', Leona da Vinci, while smiling gently

Leonardo accepted her words and thought about it for a second then… his eyes widened "brain wash" he whispered

Yasaka and Leona's eyes softened as the boy's world view was shaken, how much of him IS 'him', and how much is 'them'?

Horrified at his thoughts he looked up just in time to see his doom approaching him faster than he can react, and a second later, he was having his life squeezed out of him by Yasaka as her motherly instincts kicked in… and she had a couple weapons of mass destruction attached to her front.

"you poor boy, don't worry, I dealt with those bastard's mind manipulations you…" Yasaka continued to gush and coo at Leonardo, who at this point was turning purple, much to the amusement of Leona

A few days later Dante invited the Faction leaders and his students to a gathering of sorts at his residence in Kyoto. And the week after the gathering happened. Those attending were Lucifer, Levi-tan, Azazel, Baraqiel and the Gremory peerage.

A while into the gathering Dante approached Kiba and presented him with an orb "this is the sacred gear, Sword Blacksmith" Dante took a second to insure Kiba was listening then continued "it is the second half of your sword birth, as yours creates devil swords, this one creates holy swords, it was destined for you, and so it is yours" Dante finished then pushed the orb into the still shocked Kiba, and he might've snuck Gram into it too

One might wonder why he didn't keep it, or use it…

It's in the shop for a couple hundred thousand SP…

And he might have already created a skill of similar nature using [creation of all things] Jutsu…

Moving on Dante moved to find Azazel and Baraqiel, he took them aside and started his talk "So I have gathered the greatest minds in history in several fields and was wondering if you want to join" Dante strait up asked Azazel who was understandably taken aback

"When you say greatest?" he asked looking for clarification

Dante simply showed Azazel his Sephiroth Graal, it was no secret he has it, but he simply never used it. This threw Azazel into his own thoughts at the amount of things they could do with so many great minds working together…

Baraqiel was confused as to why he was involved in this conversation, so he asked Dante who simply pointed at the lost in thought Azazel. After a moment Azazel seemed to wake up from his daze then look at Baraqiel who was feeling dread at this point "you're in charge. Good luck" was all he said then he went towards the exit "I need to pack" was heard before he disappeared

Baraqiel was shell-shocked for a second before turning to Dante who had a bottle of winter whiskey and a list "this is eternal winter whisky and a list of all known members of Khaos brigade. Good luck" Dante said as he handed them to him, and then moved to give the same list to the other leaders, leaving Baraqiel shell shocked again, till he heard his wife ask him what's wrong, which got him in a much better mood.

With the absence of Ophis, the disappearance of the Hero faction, and the failure and death of both Diodora Astaroth and Shalba Beelzebub, Khaos brigade was, for the lack of a better term, FUCKED.

Someone leaked their names (Cao Cao's mind) and now their resources have been seized and mind readers were employed, THEY. ARE. FUCKED. If only they knew how it happened, they would have their vengeance

Dante was taking a break, on a beach, surrounded by his lovelies in skimpy bikinis… this is the life. Dante wanted to relax for a bit before going to the next world. He also wanted his fortune to build up again, he used 95% of his billions of SP to build the dungeon, equip it and summon everyone he did. Was it worth it? Hell yes, would he do it again? In a heartbeat, did he cry like a bitch because of all the money he lost? …maybe

Point is, he got his money's worth and three wifus for the harem. Dante saw all the looks he was getting from Scathach, Hephaestus and Medea. He also saw all the 'girl talk' going on, he knew where this is going, and you know what, he is going with it. None of those hyper macho 'I know you want me' kind of thing. Especially not to the three most emotionally vulnerable of the girls so far.

Let them set the pace… we have eternity after all.
