Holy Land, Mariejois.
After Kizaru left the conference room, he moved to a more secluded area, pulled out his Den Den Mushi, and dialed Sengoku's number.
"Porusalino? Shouldn't you be at the World Summit right now? Why are you calling me?" Sengoku's voice came through, full of confusion.
Kizaru frowned, speaking slowly: "Marshal, something big has happened."
Sengoku's heart skipped a beat. "Something big? Did the World Summit bring up any major issues?"
"No, it's about Master Finn..." Kizaru's voice was laced with frustration.
Sengoku's expression tightened. Damn it! Finn hasn't caused trouble in Mariejois, has he?
He had been hoping to groom Finn to take over the old man's post, but if he's causing trouble in Mariejois, that dream would be shattered.
Sengoku quickly put down the document in his hands, wiped the sweat off his forehead, and asked, trying to keep his calm, "Finn? This kid didn't cause any major issues, right…?"
Kizaru sighed heavily. "Well, it's worse than you think. He beat both the Drum King and the Barrywood King."
"What?!" Sengoku shouted, his hand freezing on the phone. "He beat two kings?"
"Marshal, don't get too worked up," Kizaru continued, his voice grim. "That's not all..."
Sengoku's eyes widened. "There's more?"
"Yeah, he also beat up three CPO officers." Kizaru's tone was full of regret, but also disbelief. Why did I have to deal with this?
"Three CPOs?!" Sengoku's voice was incredulous.
Kizaru continued, his expression grim, "One of them tried to teach Finn a lesson after he beat the two kings, but Finn just shoved his head into the conference table."
Sengoku's teeth gritted in frustration. This kid is lawless...
Sengoku thought for a moment, trying to calm himself. If he just hit the CPO, it might still be manageable…
He then asked, "What about the other two CPOs? How are they?"
Kizaru paused, looking almost exasperated. "They got the same treatment. Finn pressed their heads into the conference table too, without saying a word."
Sengoku let out a long sigh. I knew he was reckless, but this is on a whole new level...
Just then, Kizaru's adjutant rushed over, looking panicked.
"Admiral, it's bad! Really bad!" the adjutant exclaimed.
Kizaru's heart skipped a beat. Could it be that Finn's caused more trouble already?
He quickly covered the Den Den Mushi, his anxiety rising, and asked, "What's going on?"
The adjutant spoke in distress, "Admiral, Finn... he killed the slave of a Celestial Dragon!"
"What?!" Kizaru's body stiffened in shock. "How could that be? Finn's supposed to be at the summit! There are no Celestial Dragons around, so why would this happen?"
"Well, Admiral," the adjutant explained helplessly, "Finn was the only one speaking at the meeting, since everyone else stayed quiet. It ended early, and that's when it happened..."
Kizaru's shock grew. What the hell? He's at the summit, and this happens?!
At that moment, the Den Den Mushi in his hand began to shake violently, signaling Sengoku's anger on the other side of the line.
Kizaru quickly answered the phone, his voice faltering, "Hello, Marshal?"
"Porusalino! Why the hell are you just sitting there? I've been shouting at you for ages!" Sengoku's furious voice thundered through the receiver, making Kizaru wince.
"Uh, Marshal..." Kizaru tried to speak but was cut off.
"Don't interrupt me! Listen carefully!" Sengoku ordered, his voice harsh. "There are some issues with the CPO, and I'm contacting Marshal Sora to handle that. But you need to stop Finn from causing any more trouble! Especially with the Celestial Dragons! Do you understand?"
Kizaru's face twisted into a wry smile. Of course I understand... but stopping him? That's a whole other thing.
"Marshal, do you think it's possible for me to stop Finn?" Kizaru sighed, his voice defeated.
Sengoku snapped back, "Now is not the time for excuses! You need to find him immediately and get him out of Mariejois! If the Five Elders get their hands on him, there's no coming back!"
He paused, before adding, "Once you confirm he's left, you'll have to cooperate with the Five Elders, but don't actually capture him. Do you understand?"
Kizaru blinked, his lips curling into a grin. "So you want me to pretend to help the Five Elders catch Finn, but actually let him go, right?"
Sengoku growled in frustration. "Do I need to spell it out for you? Yes!"
Kizaru's mouth twitched, but he held his tongue. He had dealt with this before, so he knew the drill. After all, he wasn't new to these kinds of situations.
With a sigh, he hung up the Den Den Mushi and dashed out of the room. But before he could make his way to the meeting room, he realized one major issue. He couldn't use his Devil Fruit powers here—this was the Holy Land, after all.
Not even a Marine could be reckless with their abilities in such a sacred place.
