Chen Kun didn't say anything, he just made a gesture and aimed his smartphone camera at the door next to Guo Jintao.

Guo Jintao reached out his hand, gently turned the doorknob, and then pushed the door partly open, creating a gap about three fingers wide.

He didn't let go immediately, instead, he steadied the door to prevent it from closing on its own.

About seven or eight seconds later, feeling the door wouldn't move anymore, he withdrew his hand.

The moment he pulled his hand back, Guo Jintao quickly moved away from the open door and came over to stand with Chen Kun.

Both of their smartphone cameras were aimed at the partly open door, and both of their flashlights were shining on it too.

"Legend has it there's a Peephole Strange Creature in our experiment building," Chen Kun began, "Although you and I have never encountered it, many students and teachers have had firsthand experiences with it."
