The rest of the day passed with nothing new happening. Jake woke up in the morning and got ready for his first college classes. He was told he has a roommate but never saw him the entire time so he just ignored that thought and moved on.
As he was walking out the door, he noticed that it was pretty busy. Students were rushing everywhere to get to class and Jake got bumped more than once on his way. By the time he finally arrived to his class, he was disheveled and pissed off.
"How can people ignore a six foot four guy and act like he's something they can move out of the way. This world has gotten ridiculous," Jake complains as he takes a seat near the back of the classroom.
The classroom was about halfway full but it quickly got packed as the time drew nearer to class starting. Jake noticed that no one sat anywhere within arms reach of him which didn't bother him too much but he did get annoyed with all of the chatting going on around him.
"Yeah that's the guy. Jake Griffs. He beat the shit out of eight guys including Victor Rodriguez. He has made it known that anyone who can cripple Jake will be given one million dollars."
"Are you serious? I saw what Jake could do. The guy isn't human. Victor punched him in the face but Jake didn't even move. How is that even possible? He has to be freaking super human or some kind of alien."
A nerd, pushes up his glasses and says in a squeaky voice, "If we were to analyze it, when Victor threw the punch, the velocity and momentum behind it, should have been able to move Jake's head due to the human body's neck isn't strong enough to be able to stop and absorb the energy transfer from Victor's fist to Jake's jaw. Unless his neck is as strong as a concrete wall, he should have moved. But he didn't. And if we were to go back into the scriptures," he pulls out a book titled, Every Comic Book Superhero/Villain Ever, and continues,"His powers are an incredible defense and super speed because he moved really fast right?"
"Right," says those around the nerd who are engrossed in his ideas about the newest campus mystery.
The doors open up and the students go silent as Marisa walks in. She looks around and Gayle waves to her and pats the empty seat next to him, motioning for her to sit next to him. Marisa looks around the room and stops on Jake who is looking at his phone.
She walks up to him and sits down next to him to the shock of everyone. The poor nerd gets totally ignored and the page he had opened to had a picture of the caped crusader on it....

Marisa couldn't believe what had happened to her in the past days.
Somehow everything changed for her. The Fall happened and after a few days, she would notice a glow around certain people. She then classified certain people based off of the intensity and color of the glow. She realized that the average person would have a low intensity blueish color surrounding them. If a person was a good person, they would be a brighter color but the intensity was something she didn't understand. Good people would have colors like white, yellow, or orange. Bad people have purple, red, and blackish colors. The two, Victor and Gayle, both of them belonged to the darker spectrums. Victor was more purple but Gayle, he was a deep, dark red.
One of the things that she also noticed about her ability, Aura Vision, she calls it after looking up it up online, is that if she is around nice people, she gets a warm, nice feeling. If she's around bad people, she almost feels sick. Like she noticed that she gets clammy, feels like she's cold, and around someone like Gayle, she can even have headaches.
There were very rarely any truly good people until she saw him. She never saw him before, but when he walked past her, she would never forget the feeling she got from him. It was like she was surrounded by clouds that made all her endorphins run rampant throughout her body and she was tingling all over. His aura was pure white but she noticed some tinges of solid black dots in the white.
She didn't know what it meant but she knew that being around him was like a drug. So when she saw him that day in the cafeteria, she had to sit by him. The feeling never left her and she was thinking about him on the way to class.
As she got closer to the classroom, she noticed that the feeling began to return. She started walking faster and the feeling got stronger and before she knew it, she realized it was radiating from her classroom.
She opened the door quickly and immediately started searching for the familiar face before finally spotting him with seats only surrounding himself.
"Perfect!" She thought as she quickly sat next to him...

"What the fuck is going on around here? First yesterday and now today? What is up with this girl? Is she stalking me?" Jake thought as he watched her sit next to him.
Thankfully the teacher, Mr. Francis, came in before he could get attacked again.
"Is everyone here? Ok then-" he began but was interrupted by a shout outside the classroom.
"Fuck I'm late! Move mother fucker!" was heard by everyone and then the door was slammed open.
There, a little disheveled and out of breath, stood Jordan. He looked around the front of the class and when he saw the teacher he knew he was fucked.
"Jordan Williams! What do you think you're doing swearing left and right down the hallways and barging into class late as a matter of fact," said Mr. Francis glaring at Jordan.
After a good scolding, he was finally released and he hurried over to sit next to Jake but when he saw that his usual seat to his right was taken, and by the same pretty girl that he told him about days ago, he was dumbfounded.
He sits to his left and whispers to Jake, "What did you do to get the prettiest girl to sit next to you?" With thoughts running rampant through his head, his face drains of all color and he asks him loud enough for everyone around to hear, "You didn't drug, ra.pe, and get her pregnant did you?"
The new chapter. Thanks for all of the support and comments. I love hearing them even the bad ones cause it makes me better. Enjoy the chapter!
