Chapter 24 - Blood Contract

Suddenly, the room's door opens.

"What happened, Sir Linn, are you okay?" Alix inquired, her face solemn, as she undressed Link.

"I know you're looking forward to our honeymoon, but they're still here, you know?" Link can't help but grin and tease her.

"In your dreams, what a honeymoon!" Alix yelled.

Link laughed so hard that he coughed up blood once more. The elderly couple was having a good time watching what was going on.

Alix was worried and said something she later regretted, "If you don't take care of your health, I don't want to be a widow young and childless."

It was supposed to be a joke to return. However, Link's response was taken seriously.

"I know you love me; don't worry, my love, I'll give you a dozen children; why don't we begin now?" Link stated

Alix pretends not to hear and asks, "Why are you coughing blood?"

"My brother is in trouble; I put up a protective barrier for him, but it appears that someone broke it, and now I'm feeling the consequences." Link

"He appeared to be fading, and I even felt his rejection of my presence," he adds.

"He must be under Charmed Caster's control," Uncle Qui speculated.

"Wait, what?" Link yelled.

"That's not good; his life is about to end," Auntie Kimi said.

Link was so shocked that he didn't know what to do. He will be helpless if he confronts the charmed caster. Alix said something he never expected to hear when he was at his lowest point.

"Idiot, charmed caster are weak in combat; we can kill that person with just two of us," Alix said.

"What? Will that be the case, but how will we deal with the Charmed Caster's attacks?" Link inquires

"It's simple if someone has a blood contract marriage; both people are immune to the charming attacks. If you're still concerned, I know how to make a blood contract marriage." Alix responded

The elderly couple was surprised to discover that blood contracts have many templates, and that old-fashioned practices are rarely used by younger generations.

This elderly couple once belonged to the World Knights, who guard the balance of powers in this world to keep the people from extinction.

"Do you know what blood contracts are, young lady?" Uncle Qui inquires.

"Yes, it's fairly common knowledge, isn't it?" Alix is correct.

Auntie Kimi responded, "Hehe right."

Uncle Qui was taken aback.

The elderly couple then requests to leave the room so that the ceremony can begin.

Outside the room, an elderly couple is having a private conversation.

"That Alix young lady reminded me of Sir Richard Raven's wife," Uncle Qui remarked.

"You are correct, but the Raven clan had been extinct for 500 years, which was a disgrace," Auntie Kimi said.

Meanwhile, back in the room.

"So how we do it? " Link asked

He was, however, ignored by her. Instead, she kept writing something with her blood as ink.

Marriage Contract

Link Connect and Alix Raven are now married.

Duration: six months

Have a normal relationship as husband and wife and request that marriage norms be followed.

If they have a child together, their marriage will be extended by 5 years.

After 6 months, it can be extended for a year if both parties agree.

If both parties truly loved each other, it would be possible to make it permanent.

When he reads the contract, he can't believe it. He can marry Alix legally, but if he can't make her fall in love with him within six months, the marriage will be annulled.

But if he can get her pregnant, he has five years to make her fall in love with him, but he doesn't want to force her to be with him.

As a result, they both agreed to the contract. They sealed it with a kiss and a drink of each other's blood.

They both fell asleep after the blood contract marriage because they were exhausted. This was the first time Link had expressed a desire for a woman in his life.

Most women are drawn to him because of his physical appearance and wealth. But Alix was different; she didn't need his protection and wasn't afraid to be herself, despite his wealth.

This girl isn't interested in money, power, or celebrity. She was worried about him simply because she knew him. She even agreed to marry him to save his brother, whom she had never met.

She simply stated that after they save his brother, he will assist her in looking for her teammates, whom she already considers her brothers. They're even after that. And don't even consider giving her money because she can earn it herself.

Next morning.

Link became disoriented and awoke in a different room. He was alone, so he is wondering where his wife is. Someone entered unexpectedly, and it was Dion with the second Princess Pryce.

"Hello, Sir Link Connect," 2nd Princess Pryce said.

"So you've met me? Someone seems to have informed you that I change my appearance "Link said with a frosty grin.

"Don't be such a jerk to me, brother-in-law." Princess Pryce's second smile has a hint of murderous intent.

Alix sends a mental message to Sir Linn: >Be careful, sir Linn, that's her, the Charmed Caster!<

"What?"Link inquires

Link was perplexed; he tried to find Alix but couldn't, and he wonders where her voice came from.

Linn, please relax. No one can hear my voice massage; only you can hear it; this is a voice message; just try to send one to your mind to send to me, said Alix.

"What about your brother-in-law? Are you all right? Did the wicked attempt to seduce you?" Princess Pryce's second question

The 2nd Princess and Sir Link were then left alone in the room. The second Princess tried to console Sir Link, but she noticed something was wrong.

Sir Link was grumpy and staring at the wall when she tried to touch him.

"What's wrong with this person? No one can stand up to my charm, and this person is still upset with someone!" She expressed her displeasure to her Familiar Black cloud.

Black Cloud is a familiar type of smoke, but it is also extremely strong and poisonous.

"Madam, don't worry, he's still shocked, he knows his nature is proud, maybe his ego is hurt that Alix betrayed him, you know how close they are" Black cloud responded.

"You are right to charm someone, but that person must first trust me; if I force it, he will lose his personality," the 2nd Princess explained.

He was terrified because his wife was fighting with White, one of her brothers. Because of him, her three brothers are enchanted by the second Princess, who is attempting to harm him and his brother.
