I became the most powerful entity in the universe. What could go wrong?

You know how they say, don't make your main character overpowered? Well, I threw that rule into the bin while writing this. The main character is unquestionable the most overpowered character in fiction. I won't spoil the story, but here are a list of things you can expect: 1) Obviously, the MC is ridiculously overpowered, to the point where it's provable that no other fictional character could rival him. 2) Despite this satirical concept, there is an actually complex story being told. And no clichés, no predictability. The plot goes wherever it wants to go. 3) It's very analytical. Everything in the story is designed to make logical sense. Yes, that includes the MC's power. 4) The MC is not the good Samaritan type. He's the definition of an anti-hero. 5) Most of the fight scenes are brutal and gory. And detailed too. So, if you have a weak stomach, maybe prepare yourself. Hope you enjoy! The release schedule is pretty flexible for now, so I'll either get to release two chapters a week or one in two weeks or anywhere in between. So if you're not a fan of waiting, maybe add it your collection and binge read it when it's like 30 or so chapters in ;-) The cover art is not original. If the owner requests, I will remove it.

This monster is a human

You see, princess Loeya and I had this sensei student relationship, and it's in the early stages of it. So, I was naturally happy to see her doing well. When I say 'doing well' I'm not considering how she was uncomfortably covered in sweat from being confined underground for too long. I mean more in terms of growth.

> Level: 99

> Mana Capacity: 48000

> Mana Control: B+

> Skillset: Royal Blood (Complexity - S) ; Wind Magic (Complexity - B+)

> Character Trait: Boastful, Respectful, Disciplined

> State of Mind: Joy

I initially didn't pay enough attention to notice all the changes, as I was mostly just interested in seeing her euphoric reaction. But as I slowly took them all in… I had mixed feelings. Let me explain, point by point.

1) Her level increased (65 -> 99). This was the most normal change on the board, and I was obviously happy about this. I could assume she had to go through a consistent and tough training regime to get to this point.

2) Her mana capacity increased somehow, and that too by a huge margin (12000 -> 48000). As I've already stated before, increasing one's mana capacity is supposed to be impossible. Although I have thought of a few ways to overcome this theoretical barrier, none of them were particularly feasible. And yet, she seems to have achieved it. However, I didn't get too freaked out by this, because I had a theory on why this was possible. Actually, it's more of an educated guess than a theory. We'll get to that later.

3) Her character traits (Ill-tempered, Boastful -> Boastful, Respectful, Disciplined). For personal reasons, this was the one I was most thrilled to see. I was already aware that my analysis skill added new character traits depending on what the person goes through. But I didn't know if it removed a trait for the same reason. Logically, it should, but since I had never seen it and there was no proof of it, there was this lingering feeling in the back of my mind that I would never be able to escape my 'violent sociopath' trait. Which is why I was thrilled to see conclusive proof that character traits can in fact disappear. I don't know why it happened, I don't care why it happened. All that matters is that it can happen.

"Oh my, sorry Zenith," Princess Loeya suddenly took a step back from hugging me. "I forgot I was so sweaty and sticky."

"That's fine," I smiled, being in a happy mood. "Let's get out of here first, then we'll talk."

We made our way out onto the surface fast, where the only source of light were the lanterns held by some of my followers; they were in the process of restraining the red mages. Ignoring the corpse of the man with a gaping stab wound, the change in environment was literally a breath of fresh air for Loeya.

"Lord Zenith," the man in charge of my followers called out to me. "Shall we take these people to our base?"

Curious, I turned to Pok and whispered, "Where exactly is our base?"

"Which one?"

"Wow, never mind," I turned back to the man. "Yes, proceed. Let Devon know about this once he returns." I just couldn't be bothered with collecting such easily available details at such a time.

"As you wish, lord Zenith."

They promptly left, even taking the dead body with them to dispose of it. They were also considerate enough to leave a lantern behind, so we weren't in complete darkness afterwards. Now, getting back to the reunion. I first looked at the physical state of Loeya under the lantern's light, then turned to Pok and asked, "Do you have some water stored in you? Maybe also a towel if you have it."

"I don't have a towel, only water," she responded, to which I gave her a nod to bring it out. She took a step back and performed her unique skill. Tiny blue dots started shining in front of her, starting from the ground moving towards the top in the shape of a container (like how a 3D printer works). There were hundreds and thousands of these shining blue dots rapidly appearing and disappearing within milliseconds. And each of those dots left a microscopic spec of matter in its place, which in about half a second became numerous enough to be visible to the naked eye.

A 4 foot tall mud pot was literally materializing in front of our eyes. And once it was all the way done in about 4 seconds, the same kind of blue glow illuminated from inside the pot, instantly filling it up with water.

> Skillset: … Matter Study, Absorption, & Recreation (Complexity - S)

Although I had already seen this skill in action in my lucid dream, it didn't cease to amaze me. The best way to explain how this skill worked would be to just dissect and analyze its name. Firstly, 'matter study' means that Pok can use her mana to scan an inanimate object similar to how Heath's skill allows him to analyze a physical action. Whatever Pok scans, that information will be collected by the released mana.

But here's the thing. By just scanning, her skill is completely useless, because that information will just get lost along with the released mana. That's where 'matter absorption' comes into play. You see, when her mana scans and collects an object's information, another set of mana is released to absorb this information along with the scanned object. This means the object will be destroyed in the real world and absorbed by her mana. So for example, if she were to perform her skill on a pot, all the matter that makes up that pot is destroyed without a trace.

And where does all that matter go? Right back into her nervous system. Think of it like this. Say she uses 400 units of mana to scan the pot, and then 1000 units to absorb the pot's composition. Out of her total mana capacity, 1400 is deducted, but also 500 units are absorbed which consists of the scanned information as well as the dismantled matter. As for the remaining 900 units, it will be lost in the process of energy conversion, which is quite inefficient with this skill. It's okay if you don't understand that part, it's not relevant anyway.

What is relevant however, is that the 500 units of absorbed mana is special relative to the rest of the mana in her nervous system. For starters, that mana cannot be used for any purpose other than matter recreation, which we will get to in a minute. Secondly, it takes up an additional 200 units of mana capacity to be stored in her nervous system; this is so that her normal mana doesn't get infected by it. So, with 500 units of absorbed mana, if her regular mana were to replenish, it would stop at 5699300 units, the remaining space being reserved for the special mana.

And finally, 'matter recreation'. It's basically 3D printing an object based on the scan information and absorbed matter. One thing to note is that the mana consumption for recreation is higher than study and absorption combined. To better visualize this, those little blue dots were basically mini energy discharges that functioned as catalysts to convert the absorbed mana back to matter. For perspective, a thousand of them together consume about 2-3 units of regular mana. So for the pot full of water, that's about 500 units of absorbed mana plus roughly 48000 units of additional mana. It is pretty significant.

"Wow, that's huge!" Loeya acknowledged the size of the pot, chuckling. "I think I can take a bath in it."

"Yes, go ahead, take your time," I said. "And don't bother with your clothes, you might as well wash it with you."

And so, Pok and I sat down on the ground as Loeya climbed into the pot fully clothed. For those of you clean freaks who are worried about the hygiene of bathing in 3D printed water, rest assured. Pok's skill only works on non-complex inanimate objects, so the water inside that pot was legitimately bacteria-free. The downside of this aspect is that she can't store food — including apples — because almost all kinds of food contain DNA, which is too complex for the skill to recreate.

Another interesting thing I want to mention about the skill is that the code technically supports replication of absorbed information, meaning she can create an identical partition of absorbed mana within herself to duplicate an object. However, this doesn't work in practice for some reason. In my lucid dream, I even tried debugging this part of the skill and still couldn't understand why.

"Is the temperature fine?" Pok asked, breaking the few seconds of silence. "I collected that when it was quite cold actually." The skill also recreates the temperature at which an object is absorbed. So if she were to absorb ice cubes, she will recreate ice cubes and not water or water vapor.

"It is actually cold," Loeya replied politely as she splashed water on her face. "But it's not uncomfortable."

"So then, how have you been, Loeya?" I asked. "I can see that you have changed quite a bit since I last saw you."

"I'm glad that you could tell," she cheerfully responded. "I've been practicing a lot, and quite recently, I surpassed my cousin. You're currently talking to the best wind magic user in my class. There's not even a close second."

Pok responded with a genuine clap, while I smiled and congratulated, "Very good. And, how did it feel? To achieve something you thought was not possible."

"I'm very proud. Actually, I've been feeling especially motivated since then, and strangely like my own potential has risen significantly." It sounded like she wasn't aware of her own mana capacity increasing. It was all the more reason to not bother questioning her about it. Besides, I knew of one person who would most likely have an idea about this, and he was my next destination anyway.

After spending a comfortable amount of time in the bath-pot, princess Loeya climbed out, water dripping off her white clothes and pale skin, all shining yellow from the lantern's light. "Do you have anything metallic with you?" I abruptly asked Pok. "Like an iron dagger."

"Yep, why do you need it?" She so-naturally questioned back. Even Loeya was mildly surprised by how casual Pok was acting with me.

"Just give it to me."

The same kind of previously seen blue dots shined above her palm, materializing a short dagger in the blink of an eye. "Be safe with it," she warned me, the absolute powerful being in the universe, as she handed it over. It was a sentiment not even worth rolling my eyes over.

I stood up with the dagger in my grip and approached Loeya. "Let's see how far you have improved," I said and crouched before her, holding the dagger out in front of her only a few inches away from her stomach. I held it by its iron blade instead of the handle, and explained the reason why, "I'm going to heat up this blade until it's red hot. Find a way to dry yourself up by incorporating your wind magic with this source of heat. Whenever you're ready."

You see, magic is not all about brute strength, it's mostly problem solving. Since I saw Loeya as a student of mine, I gained a sense of satisfaction every time she achieved something with her magic. So that's what I was picking up on, another lesson on the way. And she was barely surprised by my approach, rather she liked the challenge. "I'm ready."

Taking in a deep breath, she focused. Right as she started to release her mana, I activated my physical action enhancement skill to rapidly vibrate the metal part of the dagger. It heated up substantially, but I was careful about not raising the temperature too much and making it explode.

"Bro, what are you doing? That's my favorite dagger!" Pok complained from behind me. It didn't distract Loeya though, which was pretty impressive.

"Shut up," I flatly and quietly silenced her.

The method that Loeya took to solve the problem was pretty inefficient, but it worked nonetheless. She basically reused the method I had already taught her, and tweaked it slightly. She created a high pressure ball of air behind the hot dagger, and released the air at herself through a big enough opening so as to not cause an explosion. The hot iron heated up the air as it passed through, and helped evaporate the water on her body and clothes.

She consumed a lot of her mana as she repeated this process until she was dry enough. At a point, I even raised the temperature of the iron more than necessary to give her a hand at speeding things up. All in all, "B+," I said. "Not the most efficient approach, but it achieved the expected result. Not bad."

"I see. Could you tell what would be the most ideal approach for this then?" Loeya curiously asked.

"That will be your homework. Think about an ideal solution to this problem and present it to me within 7 days. Okay?"

She readily accepted the challenge, more enthusiastic than ever.

And that concluded my reunion with Princess Loeya, which was also my first pleasant experience since waking up. The next thing on my todo list was to visit the royal palace before sunrise and set some things straight. I wanted to get it done before sunrise because if I were to wait till morning, there would be a lot more authorities in the premises, which would not be ideal for having a discrete discussion with the king.

So, I took both Loeya and Pok with me as I flew through the skies towards the destination. Logically, it would have been far more efficient had I only taken Loeya along. But ever since confirming that character traits can be erased just as well as it can be added, I had a clear first priority objective in mind — to get my violent sociopath trait erased and maybe consequently receive a trait like patience. It should be pretty clear at this point that there is nobody capable of testing my patience like Pok does while also being amusing; it was a balance I very much needed to complete this objective.

With that being said, I'm not going to bother mentioning our flight experience together. Because, describing how I practically flew 7 miles while being cuddled by two beautiful girls would give you the impression that I'm on my way to being a harem protagonist, which is untrue. So anyway, we together arrived and landed on the palace rooftop, fully camouflaged.

It was almost 4 AM, 40 minutes since the blue mages left the eastern forest. By this time, the king would have already received the news about what happened there. "Loeya, I want you to find Devon and the others, and inform them about my return. Pok and I will go and find the king and remain on standby until they arrive; Devon and Edith will be able to track my presence so have them lead the way."

Loeya hesitated slightly as she was about to move. "Um… Zenith, can I ask a question?"

I knew what she was going to ask, so I reassured her, "Don't worry, this is intended to be just a meeting. I will be trying to get your father on our side through fair means."

Receiving a little peace of mind after hearing that, she ran ahead into the palace. Shortly following that, we also infiltrated. Even though it was so early, there were still a few palace guards here and there. Princess Loeya knew the palace well enough to sneak past them, and Pok and I were under my camouflage, so it was a pretty effortless infiltration considering it's the royal palace (If this was a Mission Impossible film, it would flop).

Nevertheless, the palace was massive, it was as big as you would expect a palace to be. We wandered around aimlessly as if we were sightseeing for a solid minute before I decided to just use my mana detection skill. I looked for isolated mana-flow similar to or higher than that of the immortals to find the king. But I detected something rather odd instead — an isolated mana flow with abnormally low density, while also being abnormally abundant. I know that it sounds like it's contradicting itself, and it was as weird as it sounds.

You see, before I went into my slumber, forming an alliance with the king wasn't really a priority. If it was, the first thing I would have done is analyze what the most powerful known man in Eden was capable of. Because, in the unlikely event that the alliance doesn't go well and he becomes our enemy, I would need a rough estimate of the threat he will pose. Which is why I wanted to see the king first over reuniting with my companions. But just based on the mana flow, if at all it belonged to the king, I didn't know what to make of it.

Navigating our way through the marble-floored corridors, we arrived at the entrance to the throne room. I kid you not, it was big enough to fit an elephant through. But, "What are we waiting for," Pok quietly questioned my staring at the enormous closed doors.

"Our target is on the other side, not to be alerted yet," I explained. "But there's no way to open these doors without making the whole room vibrate, let alone making a noise." I considered using the sound isolation magic I used in the UU enchantment before I went to sleep. But if the king is directly on the other side facing the door, he is bound to notice them opening even if there is no sound. A visual illusion magic would solve this issue, but I figured it would take me too long to develop and test it thoroughly before putting it into practice.

After giving it some more thought, I gave up. Fingers crossed on the king not being directly on the other side.

> Skillset : … Sound Isolation (Complexity - B+) …

I pushed the door open, producing a loud creak with no noticeable echo as the sounds and vibrations were contained. I made sure to leave the door open just enough for me and Pok to pass through. And closed it immediately after. We were now in a huge dark room where the only source of light were the two dim lanterns hanging ahead of us. More specifically, it was hanging above the man sitting with his legs crossed on the overly pretentious throne, his long black hair down, and the top part of his face enveloped in shadow — the king of Eden. So much for keeping my fingers crossed.

Martin was also there, standing beside the king as they discussed current affairs. Thanks to that and the room being barely lit, neither of them noticed the door open and close. I quietly led Pok to a dark corner in the room from where I could comfortably observe the target. Now for the moment we've all been waiting for. Keeping my eyes on the king, I triggered my analysis skill.

And holy shit!

> Level: Over 9000

> Mana Capacity: 4.56 x 109

> Mana Control: A+

> Skillset: Density Control (Complexity - S , Awakened) ; Independent Gravity (Complexity - S , Awakened) ; Royal Blood (Complexity - S)

> Character Trait: Domineering, Thoughtful

> State of Mind: Concerned

Set aside the level and mana capacity that were off the charts, the most crucial detail I noticed was the missing immortality skill. After learning about the castaway immortals, I remember asking Loeya whether her father was born naturally or not. She confidently said yes, and I confidently rejected it. And now, even after seeing it with my own eyes, I couldn't admit that I was wrong. This monster is a human.

"Wow Zenith, I can see smoke coming out of your ears," Pok sarcastically remarked at my frustration.

You see, when I arrived on this planet, the only knowledge I had about magic in relation to my analysis skill was the average capabilities of humans and who to be careful of. Now I know even that was a lie, because mathematically, including the king's numbers as part of the calculation would yield a way higher average value.

At this point, I couldn't even come up with a reason to justify these lies. The Omnipotent wanted me to learn to control my powers, and yet of all the data he decided to feed me, he included random pop culture references from an alternate universe and not something like a detailed manual on how the analysis skill worked. I've had to figure out it's functions and features every step along the way, and it seems to be never ending.

Anyway, it was time to face the fact that I didn't know everything I needed to know. So, I decided not to bother analyzing the king's status any further. At least not yet. As far as I can see, Martin being so close to the king and his general proficiency in the field of magic, he should be able to give me some useful information to make sense of the king's absurd status. But that is assuming the alliance will be formed without any hiccups, especially because I had no idea how big of a threat the king will pose if he decides to be my enemy. But sometimes you just have to be optimistic.

"Do you think he was lying?" The king's deep voice questioned Martin.

Martin gave it some thought and replied, "If he is really Zenith, then I don't think so, your highness. Because, if Zenith's intention was to keep the princess captive, he could have effortlessly killed our Black Ops division members. Moreover, they have reported that the person displayed extreme levels of strength, so I also doubt if he was an imposter either."

From what I could hear, my suspicion was very much warranted. The king was indeed aware that it was us who held the princess captive, and therefore sent the military's Black Ops division — the blue mages — to rescue her. The plan was to first secure the princess so that the king could safely deal with Heath and my companions. However, with my interference, we were back in control of the situation.

The king was about to further inquire about the report, but then...

Abruptly cutting off their discussion, the giant entrance doors opened with loud echoes announcing the arrogant arrival of my companions, along with the addition of Heath and Loeya. "Excuse the intrusion, your highness," said Heath who opened the doors. Martin promptly took one of the hanging lanterns and put it in a placeholder beside him, which sparked a contraption that automatically lit up all of the lanterns in the room. There was no magic used, it was purely a feat of engineering.

At this point in time, I was yet to confirm the intentions of Heath and the king. And I figured now was as good a time as any, so I decided to stand by with Pok and watch how things played out.

"Loeya," the king acknowledged his daughter as she came into the light upon entering the room after Heath. He was surprised she didn't seem restrained in any way. "What is the meaning of this, gentlemen?"

"Meaning?" Heath asked. "I thought you would assume we had rescued your beloved daughter and be thrilled to see her."

"Is that the truth?" Martin chimed in with a little sass.

"No," Heath returned with a scoff. "I suppose, it is time for some honesty between us. Lord Zenith has returned, I'm sure you've heard. And he intends peace on Eden, unlike Adamas and Venus, who will continue to attempt to destroy it. So, in the best interest of Eden, we must come together now and form an alliance to fight the common enemy." He was straightforward with the request, to the point where it didn't sound like a request at all.

"And why should we trust someone who until recently was allied with said common enemy?" Martin asked, who seemed to have assumed the role of the mediator for the king's side, as Heath did for ours.

"Because, I believe that lord Zenith is the Avatar, the one true God who descended. And I'm willing to follow him and his ideologies until I draw my last breath."

"That implies Adamas and Venus don't believe so."

"They are fools."

"Or they're right."

"No!" "They're not!" "They're wrong!" Heath, Edith, and Devon defended in unison. Heath continued, "If you think anyone can be responsible for the creation of the World Tree and not be divine, you are not in your right mind." Apparently, they named my virus influenced tree 'World Tree'. I feel like that's already taken… nope, I'm just imagining things.

Martin did not reply to that, but he had a silent smirk on his face. It seemed like he only wanted to provoke my companions to prove a point, and he did. My companions essentially demanded control over everything going forward over the excuse of me being a God. I could easily imagine how the king would feel about this. Yet another group of religious extremists taking control over Eden, it would basically just be history repeating itself.

"I'm afraid this alliance will not work," the king spoke, and the atmosphere changed. There was no immediate come back or banter, his voice and tone meant serious business. "You say it will be in the best interest of Eden, I say it won't be. At least, not for long."

Heath let out a disappointed sigh. "I'm sad to hear that, your highness. But unfortunately, this alliance is not a request," he finally went ahead and admitted it. "You're either on our side or you will stand in our way, and as someone who has witnessed the strength of the Avatar, believe me when I say that you do not want to stand in his way. He wishes to deal this peacefully, and your current decision will not allow for that."

Responding to that very clear threat, the king rose from his throne. His sea blue eyes, identical to that of his daughter, were revealed along with his red royal gown. He then proceeded down the throne area, not by walking down the steps, rather by floating. It was as if he was on the moon, with considerably less gravity acting on him.

'Hm, that makes sense,' I thought to myself. He was using his magic to decrease his own body density, possible because of his mana capacity. If you remember, mana is matter and therefore has mass. For most people, this would be of no consideration, because this mass is generally too miniscule to notice. But when you have a mana pool of 4.5 billion units, it literally starts weighing you down.

Also when you have such an enormous mana pool, you can afford to waste some of your mana for your own comfort, which is what the king was doing. Otherwise, he would be walking around leaving the floors cracked on his path. This also explained the configuration of his mana flow when I first detected it.

Anyway, the king stepping down seemed like it was enough of a response to Heath's threat; it was that powerful. "You're mistaken about one thing, Heath," he stopped a fair distance away from him. "I haven't ever viewed someone as an unbeatable threat. As far as I'm concerned, Zenith is just another one of you. Perhaps stronger, perhaps your leader, it doesn't matter. I will crush him just the way I will crush you. And don't think I'm arrogant for saying this, I'm not. It is what is best for Eden, and I will go to any lengths to win." Immediately as he finished, Heath was pulled flat to the floor, cracking it underneath.

Responding to the king's hostility, Devon stepped back and Edith initiated her combat phase, covering herself in the layer of protective blue flames. But before they had time to do anything, they too collapsed under their own weight. Quite literally, none of them stood a chance.

"Father, please wait!" Loeya yelled out.

"Silence!" The king very effectively raised his voice. "I thought you would know better than to affiliate yourself with these people. I am frankly disappointed in you, Annie." The words hit her hard, especially considering how much she respects her father. She was unable to control the tears running out of her eyes and nose.

"Zenith, shouldn't we save them?" Pok whispered near me. And she was right, the situation was not good. My companions were using up heaps of their mana to just try and get back up on their feet, but the king had no problem keeping up. He constantly overpowered them, making use of his mana pool that was over 250 times the combined capacity of the three.

I didn't want to engage in a fight with the king even with my current capabilities; I was clearly not prepared. He had three S complexity skills, neither of which I had full comprehension of. Sure, I could assume based on the name of the skill, but specifically with S complexity skills, there is usually more under the hood than you can assume. In hindsight, I should have analyzed the king's skills in my lucid dream. But there's no turning back now. If I'm going to disintegrate this planet, then so be it. It's been a decent run, I'll go and terraform Mars next or something.

"Enough," I said as I walked into the scene as calm as I could be, while my camouflage deactivated around me.

"Muh…" Devon attempted to call out to me, but the weight crushing him was too great. I silently tried to use mana detection to figure out where the king's mana was affecting him, but it didn't work. You see, the way I coded the skill, it could only detect neutral mana. So, if someone releases their mana in the process of performing a magic skill, it can no longer be detected since that mana will contain that skill's instructions.

I had no choice but to deduce it based on visual hints. Firstly, I assumed that the king was using his density control magic, because it made the most sense given its effect on my companions. So, some or all of their body density had been increased greatly, effectively causing them to lose their ability to stand. There were no visibly broken bones, so the bone density has definitely been increased. There were no signs of internal bleeding, so the internal organs were fine. Devon was able to recognize me, so the brain was also fine.

Good enough. I released my neutral mana into Devon, Heath, and Edith while thinking negatively of the increased bone density. Basically, I was telling the virus what to cure. And… "Mast—" Devon uttered while he gasped for air, as were the other two. "Master Zenith."

I crouched before him and placed my hand on his shoulder. "Relax. I'm here now." I switched my gaze to Loeya standing behind him, and loudly spoke, "Loeya, I assure you, you did not make a mistake in choosing to be my ally. Chin up now." I made sure I was loud enough for the king to hear. Following this, I turned around to face the monster directly. My glowing red eyes faced the blue in his. I could see his visible frustration as he tried to continue using his skill on my companions. But with me continuously releasing my neutral mana around them, he couldn't.

Enraged, Edith stood up and reinitiated her combat phase with no regard for her over-consumed mana. I immediately put my arm out in front of her. "Rest, Edith. You're in no condition to fight him."

Reluctantly, she obeyed me and the blue flames around her disappeared. I then turned to Pok, and gestured her to attend to the three. "Gotcha," she jogged towards me and proceeded as instructed.

With that taken care of, I faced forward once again. Martin, who was standing beside the king, had a sense of genuine fear for my presence. Possibly because of how I practically nullified the effects of the king's magic. But In my opinion, they should have expected me to be able to do that much.

Anyway, "Emperor of Eden, I am Zenith. We appear to have gotten off on the wrong foot here, so why don't we start over? Let us sit down and hear each other out."

"I have already heard the offer, and I stand by what I said. I am not interested. If you're willing to accept that answer, then leave this premises at once. Or else…"

"Or else?" I giggled at the retort. "You are so desperately trying to be in control of this situation that it's laughable."

Beyond this point, he did not respond with words; there was no point to it. I reinforced my neutral mana with defense against substantial change in density. But since this wasn't a visible defense, neither the king nor Martin could understand why the attacks were being nullified against me.

"It's useless," I said, calm and cocky, while also hoping he won't throw any surprise attacks. "I just want us to have a civilized discussion."

"It's not a civilized discussion if you're not willing to take 'no' for an answer," replied the king.

I hated how he was being equally as stubborn as me. And I could tell that that feeling was mutual. I decided to put an end to this with brute force as quickly and calmly and possible. So, I took a step forward, and continued to approach him with a scarily calm expression.

Intimidated, he released his mana below him on the floor. On his left and right side, the marble floors shattered and four independent chunks, two from each side, began floating up and ascended to his shoulder level. Then inexplicably among each of those two pairs of chunks, one of them remained stationary while the other started spinning around it, the radius of only a few inches; similar to how a planet revolves around a star.

I realized what was going to happen and immediately reinforced myself for the hit. I tried my best to not show panic, but I may have leaked a bit in vain. The four chunks of marbles slingshot towards me nearly at the speed of light. Fortunately despite my slight panic, the reinforcement worked and those chunks disintegrated before they could reach me.

I'm sure the king had more tricks up his sleeve, but after seeing yet another one of his attacks have no effect on me, he was disheartened. That doesn't mean he was close to giving up, rather he was trying to figure out how to best me. But I wasn't going to give him enough time for that. I continued approaching him, maintaining the same calm demeanor.

I got close enough to place my palm on his shoulder. And I stopped. "It's time to give up, king of Eden."

He prepared to retaliate one last time, but this time I was close enough to not allow him. I used my mana to push down on his shoulder, carrying enough force to put his low density body to his knees. The shockwave from the force shook the room, disseminating the chairs, the doors, and not to mention the throne area.

"Father!" "Your highness!" Princess Loeya and Martin cried out in concern as the king remained still on his knees with an expression of utter defeat and shock.

And like putting salt on the fresh wound, I levitated above the unsightly cracked floors and moved towards the throne, now sitting on top of a destroyed platform. I comfortably took my place on the throne with legs crossed, and smirked. "Alright, let's get started."
