Chapter 57
[I read a lot of fanfics on here and almost every time something seems to happen in the author's life. I never really understood it. It feels like since i started writing my fanfic, things keep happening and the keep getting more and more intense. An author's curse? Maybe I'm just getting superstitious. Ah! I wanna cry so bad right now. Maybe I will run and hide where my wife can't see me and cry. Both of us can't cry; I need to be the strong one for us. Why? Because I am the husband and father. What a weird responsibility. Maybe blabbering incoherently to my readers would help a bit. Anyway, here is yesterday and today's chapter. Enjoy]

"So boring. This is what you wanted? What for?" I tossed it back to Naruto who jerked his head up when he heard my question.
'If he is here, then what happened to Iruka?' I stretched my carpet and found Hinata supporting him, walking towards our direction.
'I see, she stepped in to help him.' I turned back to look at the fool who had a savage look on his face, as if staring at a couple of dead children. Who could blame him? Naruto was believed to be a failure who could not even pass the graduation test, and I was believed to be a weak love sick girl whose only redeeming quality was her chakra control and book-smarts.
"How can a bunch of brats understand. Once I give this to Orochimaru-sama, I will attain great power. As for you two, you can die here. Thank you for stealing it for me, demon fox." He dropped from the branch and began laughing like a maniac but slowly stopped when he noticed neither of us showing any reaction.
"I told you he was a third-rate villain. See, he just blabbed his entire lame plan after only asking once. I'm telling you; he would have blabbed even if we did not ask." At some point, Kakashi had returned and was standing beside him. Iruka and Hinata had joined us. As for Kouki and Aoi, they had already performed their task and were standing by at a distance for me.
Having gotten what I want, I started to walk away. "Where are you going?" Kakashi enquired.
"There is nothing left for me to do here. We have his confession. Besides, I have an important visit to make. Don't worry, I will come see you after you meet your team tomorrow." I spoke without looking back and flickered away.
I appeared beside Aoi and Kouki and asked, "Did you tag him?" The both nodded. Their tags were amazing. It was related to the Bloodline Limits. They would pour chakra into an opponents' body, or even better, their shadow, which I liked to call 'Tagging'. The chakra was well hidden in the opponents' body and even more impossible to find in their shadows. As long as their chakra exists in you, they could find and teleport to you through your shadow no matter where you were. Amazing right? Their very own teleportation. The perfect assassination ability. I thanked them and asked them to return home. I looked towards a direction and disappeared.

In the Root HQ, Danzo was seated on his chair as always with his eyes closed. Occasionally smiling at the thought of finally getting rid of that threat to the village. Suddenly, an agent burst into the room, "Danzo-sama. There is an intruder!"
"So, she has come huh? It would have been disappointing if she did not survive" He opened his eyes slowly, as if he had been expecting his little visitor for a while. So what if he lost a few of his agents? He could always get more. As long as he was alive, root would always exist.
Picking up his cane, he walked slowly towards the walkway. What he saw when he got there made him widen his eye slightly. Sitting in the middle of a few dozen headless corpses was a pink haired twelve-year-old that was covered in blood. The sight of her sitting comfortably while staring at him made him frown slightly. She used a few corpses as a chair and made herself at home, playing with her tanto; making it appear and disappear at will.
"I knew you were an uncontrollable beast that needed to be taken down. I was right." Danzo narrowed his eyes at me. His gaze like almost condescending.
"Beast? Why, because I fought back? Who gave a coward such as you the right to judge me, to deem me a threat to the village? A rat that could only run to the sewers underground" His eyes showed a dangerous glint as if holding himself back from attacking.
"What would a brat such as yourself know of cowardice?" He spoke coldly, squeezing his cane tight. He felt it would be best to end this troublesome child here and now; Afterall, was that not a perfect chance? She was the one that stormed into his headquarters.
"Just because of a bit of tinkering and stealing here and there, the cowardly rat suddenly feels he can come to the light." She pointed at her right arm and right eye as spoke, seemingly indicating at something. His eyes widened and charged at the pink haired girl. Just as he was close enough, he stretched his arm to capture her, but then she spoke, "Burst!" She suddenly swelled up. Sensing the danger, Danzo immediately jumped back when a loud BANG sounded out, the force sending him rolling back drenched in water with a high surge of lightning coursing through him, making him groan in pain.
At the same time as the water clone exploded, explosions began to go off through the entire underground base. Who knew the number of explosion tags that were used? The base was built sturdily so it was not enough to bring it down, but enough to alert everyone in the village. Danzo who stood amid the flames and rubble, drenched in water, had an unsightly expression.
"Leave me alone, Danzo, or I will take away more than your men or little sewer next." Sakura's voice echoed out, warping his already raging face even more. He looked around before ordering his remaining men to evacuate. There would definitely be others coming. He coughed, slightly surprised, but threw it at the back of his mind and disappeared.

"The burst is slow when it is a full body water clone; Against speed types, it would barely work even if caught by surprise. Tsk, I really need to add fire to the mix as well." I walked towards home in a bad mood. His sudden intrusion nearly cost me the jutsus I wanted. If I had lost that chance then I would have had to convince Naruto to go after his inheritance, which would have raised more questions and suspicions about me. I was not yet ready to have such eyes on me. Same reason I did not take down Danzo tonight.
'Good thing I left him a little surprise' Thinking about that at least put me in a little bit of good mood. With most of the shinobis heading towards a direction, I did not bother. Why would I go back to the scene of the crime? I reached home to see Aoi and Kouki waiting for me with their weapons beside them. Upon seeing me, they smiled and bid me goodnight before heading to their rooms. I had a good night sleep with a smile. Now I could begin my plans.
