Valerius's interpretations of the events displayed in the two paintings on the cathedral windows were as follow. His first interpretation was that Ahshun had appeared to answer the call of his followers, suggesting that divine intervention could be invoked through collective prayer or ritual of believers. His second and last interpretation was more profound; it posited that Ahshun's very existence was birthed from the collective desires and faith of a group of humans, implying that their unified wishes had given life to this deity.
