The intricate carvings on the facade of the cathedral that had faded so much they seemed to be one with its stone walls the first time Valerius saw it were now as vivid as they must have been on the day they were completed.
Inside, the molded and broken pews thick with dust were nowhere to be seen. Instead, only brand new wooden benches could be seen. The stairs leading to the platform were restored, and where the shattered altar once stood, a statue now took its place.
