Valerius had killed all the undead in the forest.
He had collected all the items that popped out from their corpses after he killed them.
Out of the items collected, he refined the rings, which resulted not only in such a huge increase in all his stats that he became around seven times stronger, faster, sturdier, and tougher than the average Serphian, but it also boosted his soul power capacity to the same level as an average 10th sky low-rank wizard.
His soul power capacity was close to hitting 1000; it was at 999.
Out of the items collected, two were the hexagonal crystals needed for the altar to show the path ahead.
"Finally, it's over," Valerius muttered to himself, grabbing the crystals in his hand.
Returning to the worn-out and beaten-down cathedral, he leaped onto the platform inside of it and carefully inserted each crystal into its designated slot on the altar's surface.
