Marriage and the pastor

I'm creating more chapters here, because a lot of people say it's too fast. This chapter is because you put 4 good reviews on top of the bad ones. Throw the bad ones at the bottom and I'll post another one.

--------------------

Time passed quickly. Years flew by in the blink of an eye.

I met Maya Hansen and Helen Cho, and although they were beautiful, intelligent, and kind, I didn't have as strong a connection with them, and we didn't form a romantic relationship.

Instead, they became my employees, and I funded their research in whatever they wanted. They achieved great results and became pillars of Stark Industries, with their names becoming well-known.

Even though they didn't have shares in Stark Industries, as I wouldn't sell my shares, they still had profit margins from their inventions, along with excellent salaries and funding. So, they were loyal and grateful to Stark Industries.

Currently, it's 1999, and I'm 29 years old. While I no longer age due to Extremis keeping my body in its prime, Carol's powers also prevent aging. By 2025, Carol Canon is almost a centenarian and still looks young.

But my parents have been pressuring me to get married, so today a grand ceremony was organized. I didn't know many people besides my subordinates, so I invited my top subordinates. Yao also invited the top masters of Kamar-Taj, which almost made them faint out of their hearts when they found out that The Ancient One was getting married.

In fact, Yao had always concealed her appearance with an illusion at Kamar-Taj, but for the masters she invited, she had to reveal her appearance, and this time, some masters really fainted. It was a month ago when we invited them, and Yao and I have been laughing about it ever since.

Carol also invited her alien friends, like Talos.

The only one with normal friends was Pepper. And boy, did she have a problem explaining to her guests that she was marrying me along with two other women and that the three of us were peculiar and invited people in costumes. Well, it was the only way to explain a crowd "in costume" of aliens and wizards.

As for my parents, I told them the truth, so they were extremely surprised. Almost fainting after hearing and seeing the evidence. Then they bombarded me with questions about what I was doing behind their backs. Man, what a hassle it was to tell the whole story.

Anyway, the girls and I were very happy getting married. It was more fun for us, because we've been husbands and wives for years. Of course, it still had meaning, so we took it seriously.

Yao was Celtic, so even though their wedding ceremonies a thousand years ago weren't much different from current American weddings, we still made modifications to our ceremony, like tying our hands with ribbons, having the ceremony outdoors, and some small decorations. My consideration made Yao very happy, so I should be well rewarded tonight.

...

I was wearing a black suit.

The girls looked stunning in beautiful white wedding dresses. Pepper and Carol each held my arm, and Yao held onto Pepper's arm.

We were all facing the pastor presiding over the ceremony.

"Dear friends and family, we are gathered here today before God to celebrate the love and union of Tony Stark, Pepper Potts, Carol-" The pastor began presiding over the ceremony.

"Let's have another wedding later. I'm annoyed that Yao can't stand by my side." I whispered to the girls, not caring about the pastor's grimace, who continued as if he didn't see me whisper.

"Tony, not now. Pay attention to the ceremony." Pepper scolded me in a hushed tone.

"Marriage is a journey of love, trust, and commitment-" The pastor was still speaking.

"I was just saying. If you would just nod, we wouldn't keep talking." I whispered back.

"-You are taking the next step in this wonderful journey together-" The pastor continued speaking, but I saw his eye twitching.

"Tony, stop talking," Carol whispered angrily.

"Calm down, it's just a casual conversation. You're all too tense." I whispered to Carol with a smile on my face.

Yao rolled her eyes and whispered a bit louder for me to hear, "I'd like to open your head, Tony, but not to see what's inside; it's just because I want to split your skull." Yao whispered calmly, but the threat was clear.

Sigh, women, get irritated so easily.

"TONY STARK, do you promise to love, honor, and cherish Carol Danvers, Pepper Potts, and Yao, in joy and in sorrow, in sickness and in health, all the days of your life?" The pastor asked though I didn't understand why he seemed to grind his teeth when he said my name.

"I do!" I replied solemnly.

"The pastor seems a little irritated. What's wrong with him?" I whispered back to my brides.

The girls just rolled their eyes.

And pastor, why are you gripping the Bible so tightly? I can see the veins in your hand.

"Carol Danvers, Pepper Potts, and Yao, do you promise to love, honor, and cherish Stark, in joy and in sorrow, in sickness and in health, all the days of your lives?" the pastor asked the girls.

"Hey, he left out my name." I whispered in surprise to the girls.

"We'll try." The girls replied in unison.

"Huh?!" I was confused. I must have misheard.

Afterward, we exchanged rings and tied our hands with symbolic cords.

"I now pronounce you husband and wives. You may kiss the brides." The pastor said with a smile, and in the final sentence, he looked at me.

I smiled and thanked him, and I went to kiss my brides.

"May God bless and guide their marriage every day of their lives." The priest continued saying as I kissed my three brides.

"Ladies and gentlemen, it is with great joy that I conclude this beautiful ceremony." The priest smiled and exited.

The pastor was a nice guy, but I hadn't paid much attention to him. It was only a few years later, looking at the wedding photos, that I realized who had presided over my ceremony

...

It was Stan Lee.
