Chapter 25 School Arc (9)

Thomas Halloway sat in the cafeteria of Midtown High School, his mind occupied with thoughts of the day's lessons and the students he was about to teach. As he sipped his coffee, he couldn't shake off the feeling of unease that had settled in his intuition.

The school suddenly exploded with noise and confusion as a massive blast shock the building. Thomas didn't hesitate for a moment. His instincts took over, and he acted fast, drawing on his experience as a former vigilante. Despite the chaos around him, he stayed calm and concentrated on figuring out what was happening and keeping the students safe. He didn't let the panic affect him; instead, he focused on assessing the situation and making sure everyone was okay.

As smoke filled the cafeteria and screams filled the air, Thomas remained, calm and collected. He understood that freaking out wouldn't help anyone, so he stepped up, telling students in a clear and calming way to follow him to safety.

The scared students turned to Thomas for help, and he stepped up without fail. He led them through the smoky hallways, watching carefully for any danger and ready to act fast to keep them safe.

"Stay low and follow me!" he shouted, his voice piercing through the noise. "We need to evacuate the building quickly and calmly."

As they moved through the smoky hallway, Thomas's mind raced with possibilities. Who could be behind this attack? Were there more bombs? How many lives were at stake?

"Could they be Nazis again?" Thomas thought for a moment, but quickly dismissed the thought. "Impossible. I already dealt  some of those Nazis."

Thomas felt a surge of emotions as he guided the students through the smoky hallways of Midtown High School. He was scared, not for himself, but for the students and teachers who were in danger. The screams and violence all around them made his heart beat faster with fear and anger.

As they turned the corner, Thomas's worst fears were unfolded in front of him. A group of terrorists, armed with weapons, and dangerous, were attacking the students and teachers. The sight filled him with angry and upset, memories of his own past as a vigilante flooding back.

"Stay back," he ordered the students in a low, urgent voice, his eyes flashing with determination. "Find a place to hide and stay there until I give the signal."

The students nodded, their eyes wide with fear, but they trusted Thomas to keep them safe. They quickly found hiding spots behind overturned tables and bookshelves, crouching down and waiting for Thomas's command.

Meanwhile, Thomas wasted no time. He quickly unfastened his belt, knowing it could be used as a weapon. Gripping it tightly in his hand, he prepared himself for the upcoming fight.

Thomas moved quietly and carefully toward the group of terrorists, making sure not to make any noise. He stayed in the dark parts of the hallway, using his skills in stealth and infiltration to get as close as possible without being detected.

As Thomas approached the attackers, his anger grew stronger. These men didn't care about innocent lives or the safety of a school. They were cowardly, targeting the vulnerable for their own selfish reasons, much like the Nazis he fought during the war. Remembering those terrible times only made him more determined to fight against villains and defend those who couldn't defend themselves.

As Thomas fought against the terrorists, he moved with a fluid grace, his years of combat experience guiding his every move. Gripping his belt tightly, he wielded it like a weapon, aiming each swing with careful aim and timing. With each strike, he targeted the terrorists with accuracy, delivering blows that packed a powerful punch.

As a terrorist lunged at Thomas with a knife, he smoothly sidestepped the attack, dodging the blade with ease. In a split-second reaction, Thomas delivered a quick punch to the assailant's ribs, The terrorist staggered back, clutching his side in pain, giving Thomas the opportunity to disarm him and use the belt to restrain him.

As more terrorists closed in, Thomas pivoted on his foot, using the spin to deliver a mighty kick right into the chest of one of the terrorist.  The force of the blow sent the terrorist crashing into his companions, creating a temporary opening in their defenses.

Seizing the opportunity, Thomas dashed forward, swiftly maneuvering through the terrorists with quick agility. He dodged punches by ducking beneath them and sidestepped bullets with swift movements, making sure he stayed out of reach of their attacks.

When bullets flew towards him, Thomas reacted instinctively, using the bodies of fallen terrorists as shields. He grabbed their limp forms and dragged them in front of him, using them as a barrier against the incoming fire.

Then in a quick and decisive move, Thomas whipped his belt towards one of the terrorists, expertly disarming him of his firearm. With a swift flick, wrapped the belt around the attacker's wrist, wrenching the firearms away and take them before swiftly incapacitating him.

As Thomas  fighting the terrorists, the teachers and students gathered close, scared by the frightening chaos happening around them. Some were shocked and let out gasps, while others were horrified and covered their mouths, unable to look away. They were all terrified by what they saw.

As the loud bangs of guns filled the halls, some students couldn't help but cry. Their tears mixed with the scared shouts and screams nearby. They huddled closer together, looking for comfort and a sense of safety in the middle of the scary situation.

"Stay low!" one of the teachers shouted, her voice trembling with fear. "Stay quiet!"

The scared teachers tried hard to stay calm and steady for their students. Their hands shook as they led the students to safety, showing them where to go to stay out of harm's way.

.................

Now that Thomas had the firearms on his hands, he looked straight at the remaining terrorists. He was determined and focused, his hands steady even though everything around him was chaotic.

With accurate aim, Thomas started to eliminate the remaining terrorists one by one. Every bullet hit its target with deadly precision, stopping the attackers and removing the danger they posed to the students and teachers of Midtown High School.

The noise of gunshots filled the halls, blending with the shouts and screams of the terrorists as Thomas swiftly took them down.

As the last of the terrorists fell to the ground, Thomas took a moment to catch his breath, his chest heaving with exertion.

"I'm getting old," Thomas whispered to himself, a sad smile appearing on his face. "Back in my days, I could have defeated them without breaking a sweat."

As Thomas looked around, he saw guns and stuff scattered everywhere. In one of the attacker's pockets, he found some smoke bombs tucked in. But there was more. As he looked closer, he saw a shiny knife tucked in the attackers' belongings. After he pick up the guns, smoke bombs, and the knife, After all these were not just tools of violence; they are also tools for protections

Then  the students and teachers came out of where they were hiding, carefully stepping into the quiet hallway. They looked relieved and thankful because they knew they were safe now, all because of Thomas. They walked up to him slowly, looking at him with big eyes, amazed at what he did to keep them safe.

"Thank you," one of the teachers said, her voice trembling with emotion. "We owe you our lives."

The students agreed, expressing their thanks with sincere words. "You're our hero," one of them said, looking at Thomas with admiration. "We'll always remember how you saved us."

Thomas nodded humbly, accepting their thanks with a quiet dignity. "I'm just happy I could help," he said, sounding sincere. "But we're still not safe. We need to make sure everyone stays safe."

Thomas led the way, and the students and teachers followed behind, moving fast but carefully through the halls. They stayed close together, offering support and encouragement to one another as they made their way to the hallways."

As they moved through the foggy hallways, Thomas noticed a classroom up ahead. Its shape was barely visible through the thick mist.

"Hide here for now," Thomas repeated, his voice firm yet reassuring.

"But why can't we come with you?" Mr. Brown (History Teacher) pressed, his tone tinged with concern.

Thomas turned to face him, his expression serious. "We can't take any chances," he explained. "If I encounter more terrorists, having you all with me would only put you in harm's way. I need to move quickly and decisively, and having you stay here is the safest option for now."

The teachers and students nodded, understanding the gravity of the situation. They quickly moved into the classroom, pulling desks and chairs to barricade the door and windows, ensuring their temporary shelter was as secure as possible.

"Where are you going, Mr. Thomas?" another teacher asked, her voice trembling slightly.

"I need to find some help," Thomas replied, his tone resolute. "And I need to assist other students or teachers who are trapped in these predicaments.

With that, Thomas handed out the weapons he had collected from the terrorists earlier. "Take these for your protection," he said, distributing the firearms, knife, and smoke bombs (The only thing remained in Thomas is Two guns, 1 knife, and 10 smoke bombs. "I'll be back as soon as I can."

The teachers and students nodded, their gratitude evident in their expressions. They watched as Thomas walked away into the foggy hallways. They felt worried but also hopeful that he would do well and finish his task.

As Thomas moved further into the school, he stayed alert, keeping his senses sharp for any signs of danger.

As Thomas moved cautiously through the fog-filled halls, he suddenly heard voices and footsteps approaching. He quickly ducked down, pressing himself against the wall as he listened intently.

One of the terrorists mentioned that their leader, Jord, was in a classroom nearby, indicating its location not too far away in the distant hallways.

As Thomas listened in on the terrorists talking about their boss, Jord, being in a nearby classroom, Thomas understood he had to move fast to keep the students or teachers safe. When the terrorists reached a corner in the hallway, Thomas saw his chance to act.

Without wasting a moment, Thomas acted swiftly, driven by his adrenaline and his commitment to keeping everyone safe. Moving incredibly fast, he tackled the closest terrorist by surprise, hitting him hard. The force of Thomas's hit knocked the attacker down, stopping them from causing any more trouble.

As the other Terrorist tried to figure out what was happening, Thomas quickly threw a smoke bomb. The smoke filled up the room, making it hard to see. But Thomas used this confusion to his advantage. He moved carefully through the smoke, making sure no one could spot him.

Using all his experience, Thomas moved through the chaos like it was nothing, his every move smooth and decisive. He dodged bullets coming at him, his reflexes quick and sharp. In the middle of all the smoke and mess, he fired his gun rapidly, hitting every target he aimed at perfectly.

After the fierce battle, the smoke slowly faded away, showing Thomas standing among the defeated Terrorist. He looked around with a desperate expression, Thomas didn't wait around. He dashed down the hallway toward the classroom where Jord, the leader of the terrorists, was said to be. Every step he took made his heart beat faster, filled with a mix of adrenaline and determination to face the threat directly.

As Thomas hurried towards the classroom where Jord was rumored to be, his senses were on high alert. Amidst the smoke-filled corridors, he heard sinister laughter emanating from the room nearby.

As Thomas watched from his hiding spot behind the classroom, he felt confused and worried. Seeing Mr. Dan, the nice math teacher, getting hurt by a Man a middle-aged man with a Vibranium right arm was both shocking and alarming .

["Hoh, you are still standing despite your bones are broken and you are heavily injured. I respect you for that," said Jord, his voice acknowledging Teacher Dan resilience. "But with that, playtime is over.  I'm going back on my word. Now, I'm going to use my Vibranium punch to finish you off."]

"What's vibranium?" Thomas muttered quietly to himself, his eyebrows knitting together in confusion as he tried to make sense of the situation. The word sounded familiar, but he couldn't quite place it. However, he didn't have time to dwell on it as he stayed focused on the urgent situation unfolding before him.

As Jord tried to attacked Mr. Dan with his powerful Vibranium-enhanced arms, Thomas couldn't just stand there and do nothing. He was filled with determination and quietly muttered, "Not on my watch," his voice firm and resolute.

Quickly and decisively, Thomas threw a smoke bomb into the classroom. The thick smoke made it hard for the attacker to see, causing chaos. Taking advantage of the distraction, Thomas rushed forward, towards Mr. Dan and the students.
