Chapter 121– Goblin Arc (2)

As chaos erupted in the school, my heart raced with a mixture of fear and adrenaline. The sudden explosion had caught us all off guard, sending waves of panic rippling through the crowded halls.

Students screamed and scrambled for safety, their frantic movements adding to the chaos. And amidst the confusion, a figure emerged, clad in a menacing green mask that sent a shiver down my spine.

"I finally found you, Harry," the mysterious figure declared, his voice cold and menacing.

Harry's eyes widened in shock and fear as he stared at the mysterious figure before us. "Who... who are you?" he stammered, his voice barely above a whisper.

The figure chuckled darkly, his laughter sending a chill down my spine. "I am the Green Goblin, and Harry Osborn you are my target today," he declared, his voice filled with menace.

MJ grabbed my arm, her expression filled with concern. "Peter, who is that?" she asked, her voice trembling with fear.

I shook my head, my mind racing as I tried to process the situation. "I don't know, MJ," I admitted, my voice tinged with uncertainty.

The figure stepped closer, his gaze fixed on Harry with a chilling intensity. "In order for me to become one, I have to eliminate you, Harry," he taunted, his words dripping with malice.

Harry's face paled as he stumbled backward, his eyes wide with fear. "Stay away from me!" he exclaimed, his voice filled with panic.

I had to do something to protect my friends, to stop this madman before he could harm anyone.

But before any of us could react, the Green Goblin lunged forward, his movements quick and calculated. In a flash, he grabbed hold of Harry, his grip tight and unyielding.

"Let him go!" I shouted, my voice filled with fury as I moved to intervene.

Suddenly, with a powerful blow from the glider hitting my stomach, I pretended to be sent crashing to the ground with a grunt of pain. I acted as if I was struggling to push myself up, but in reality, I was observing my surroundings keenly. The force of the impact had left me dazed and disoriented, but I knew I needed to play my part convincingly for my classmates to see.

Also, little did the Green Goblin know that I had already planted some traces in his glider during our earlier encounter. I had a plan to track him down after this.

As I pretend to struggled my bearings, the Green Goblin turned his attention back to Harry, his grip tightening around his captive. "Now, Harry, it's time to settle our score," he declared, his voice filled with menace.

Harry's eyes widened in terror as he struggled against the Green Goblin's hold. "No... please..." he pleaded, his voice trembling with fear.

But the Green Goblin showed no mercy, his laughter echoing through the chaos as he rode his glider, dragging Harry away.

As the chaos unfolded and the Green Goblin dragged Harry away, I knew I had to act quickly. Despite the risk of my identity as Spider-Man, I couldn't stand by and watch my friend be taken. With a sense of urgency, I turned to MJ and said, "Mj, stay here. I'll call for help."

But deep down, I knew that I couldn't wait for help to arrive. Time was of the essence, and Harry's life could be in danger. Before anyone could respond or object, I made a split-second decision.

"I'll call for help," I announced to the students and the teacher in the classroom, trying to sound convincing. With a sense of urgency, Then, I rushed towards the exit, pretending to be distressed.

"Hey, Peter, wait!" MJ called out desperately.

"Peter, wait!" Mr. Flores, the history teacher, added, trying to stop me.

But I ignored them both, my focus solely on the Green Goblin and Harry's safety. There was no time to waste.

Once outside, I found a hidden spot where no one could see me. It was time to become Spider-Man and face the Green Goblin directly.

Hero on," I said suddenly, activating my watch to transform me into Spider-Man.

"Sweet," I murmured to myself, feeling the familiar rush of power and responsibility that came with donning the suit. "Thanks once again, Michael, wherever you are, men."

Turning to the tracking device I had previously planted on the Green Goblin's glider, I checked its signal. It was time for me to follow where he had taken Harry. With determination fueling my every move, I swung into action, ready to rescue my friend and put an end to the Green Goblin's villainous plans.

[Meanwhile Michael Wilson]

Michael Wilson, Mary Rose Taylor, and Loe Halloway found themselves in a secluded spot, far from anyone else. Meanwhile, Emily Hawkins, Mark Taylor, and Chris Hilton were enjoying themselves on the beach.

In their quiet, secluded spot, Loe looked at Michael with a big question. ""Do you think Peter has what it takes to follow in your footsteps?"

Michael's gaze wandered into the past, reflecting on the path he and Peter had walked together. "When I first met Peter," he began, his voice gentle but firm, "there was just something about him. He had this spark, this drive to do good. And as time went on, I saw him grow, facing challenges head-on with bravery, honesty, and a heart that never backed down."

"He had what it takes to be a hero," Michael continued, his words simple yet profound. "Courage, honesty, and a willingness to stand up for what's right, no matter the odds."

Turning to meet Loe's gaze, Michael's expression softened."Peter has the potential to exceed all of our expectations," he spoke with conviction, a hint of pride shimmering in his eyes. "But he's still learning, still discovering the full extent of his powers. He just needs time, experience, to truly harness his capabilities. And when that day comes, I have no doubt that he will soar to heights we can only imagine.

Mary's eyes sparkled with admiration as she looked at Michael, her love and support evident in every glance. "Babe, do you really think Peter could surpass you?" she asked, her voice filled with wonder.

Michael chuckled, a fond smile playing on his lips as he recalled Peter's incredible abilities. "Believe me, Mary, when I say that Peter is leagues ahead of where I was at his age," he admitted, a note of awe in his voice. "He's a natural, a prodigy in every sense of the word."

Loe nodded in agreement, his expression reflecting the newfound respect he held for Peter. "I had no idea," he murmured

"Yeah," Michael agreed, a grin spreading across his face. " I Guess Peter is full of surprises."

Just then, the cheerful voice of Mark interrupted their conversation, calling out to them from the beach. "Guys, join us! Come on, let's have some fun!"

Michael, Mary, and Loe exchanged glances, their laughter echoing in the confines of the area. With a shared nod, Michael spoke up, his voice filled with excitement. "Alright, we'll be right there. Just give us a minute."

[Meanwhile Green Goblin]

As the Green Goblin continued to torment Harry, his words dripping with envy and malice, Harry struggled against his restraints, his eyes filled with fear. However, the gag prevented him from responding, leaving him helpless against the Goblin's cruel taunts.

"Give up talking," the Goblin commanded, his voice laced with contempt as he delivered a sharp slap to Harry's face. "I said don't talk. It's useless."

Harry's voice was silenced by the gag, his fear evident as he complied with the Goblin's orders, his silence speaking volumes.

"Good boy," the Green Goblin sneered, relishing in his control over his captive. "Now, where were we? Ah, yes, the jealousy part."

His gaze bore into Harry's, filled with intensity and resentment. "You know, Harry, I'm kind of jealous of you," he admitted, his tone twisted with envy.

Harry's eyes widened in confusion and fear, unable to comprehend the Goblin's motivations.

"But don't worry," the Goblin continued, his smirk widening. "I have a plan to make things right. And it starts with your demise right here."

But before the Green Goblin could carry out his sinister intentions, a voice echoed through the warehouse, cutting through the tension like a knife.

"Let him go, greeny."

The Green Goblin's head snapped in the direction of the voice, his eyes narrowing in surprise and recognition. "You are Spider-Man Red?" he questioned, disbelief coloring his tone.

With a confident stance, Spider-Man Red stepped forward, his costume bearing the iconic colors of the web-slinger. "Yes, I am. But for now, call me Spider-Man," he declared, determination burning in his eyes.

[Meanwhile Peter Parker]

As I swung through the city streets, following the signal from the tracking device, my thoughts raced. I couldn't shake the feeling of guilt for not being able to stop the Green Goblin before he kidnapped Harry. But now wasn't the time for self-doubt. I had to focus on finding them before it was too late.

The signal led me to an abandoned warehouse on the outskirts of town. As I approached, I could hear the faint sound of Harry's voice, muffled and desperate. The Green Goblin must have taken him inside.

Entering the warehouse, I was met with darkness and silence. But my senses were on high alert, guiding me towards where Harry was being held captive. I moved silently, relying on my agility and stealth to avoid detection.

Finally, I spotted them: the Green Goblin standing menacingly over Harry, who was bound and gagged, his eyes wide with fear. The sight fueled my determination, strengthening my resolve to end this once and for all.

"Let him go, Greeny," I asserted, my voice carrying a weight of determination

The Green Goblin's evil laugh turned into a sudden gasp of surprise, echoing through the warehouse. "You're Spider-Man, Red?" he blurted out, sounding totally shocked.

I met his gaze with steely resolve. "Yes, I am. But for now, call me Spider-Man," I replied, a smirk playing at the corners of my lips.
