Chapter 2: Endless pain

When the maid went outside the room a man wearing armor was waiting outside the room. He seems to be one of the knights of the Titanblade family. When the knight saw the maid coming out of the room he approached to the maid "Is Mi lord alright?" and the maid shook her head. When the maid shook her head the knight hit the wall and said "If only we were putting up our guard Mi lord's carriage wouldn't have been hit by the giant rock and mi lord would have been alive." The maid said "Master is only injured he is not dead" the knight was greatly shocked to find out their lord was alive "Didn't the priest said he won't be able to survive?" and the maid simply said "Maybe the God pitied our lord and let him live" and the knight sighed in relief "I will go relay this information to everyone" and walked away.

When the maid was going to library she stopped and remembered "Oh yeah I nearly forgot to give him the box"

Inside the room

Xavier got up from the bed and looked at his injuries "I wonder what happened to give such severe injuries to this body" and Xavier took all of his cloths and looked at his current body. He seems to have golden eyes with his jet black hair. The body was covered in injuries and it was pretty frail. "I guess the past owner of this body was very weak" and when Xavier examined his body he started to wear his clothes but suddenly the maid opened the door she almost came inside but Xavier immediately shouted "GET OUT!!" and the maid immediately closed the door. Xavier blushed a little due to embarrassment and after he wore all of his clothes "Come in" and when the maid came with a bunch of books, and a box. The box aroused curiosity of Xavier, and he asked, "Why did you bring this box?" and the maid replied "It was given to me by your grandfather the day before his sudden death."

Xavier picked up the box "What's inside the box then?" when Xavier asked she said "The past head ordered me never to open the box and said directly to give you when you inherit the inheritance of the family oh and this is the key to open it." and gave the key to Xavier.

Xavier ordered "Don't come inside until I order it" and the maid went out of the room.

When she got out of the room Xavier locked the door and opened the box with the help of key. When Xavier opened the box he found there was an old book and a beautiful necklace decorated with a colorful crystal. And underneath them was a paper, Xavier wore the necklace and the name of the book [Entity devouring Art] and without a doubt the book was not an ordinary book. When Xavier slowly opened the book he found it was... empty. "Did I just get pranked by a dead man" it angered Xavier and Xavier threw the book in the bed "Tch I can't believe I just pranked by a dead man huh."

Xavier realized a black smoke was appearing and covering the entire room and was shocked when he saw the black smoke was coming from book. When Xavier came in contact with the black smoke he found himself in an unimaginable pain. A pain so unbearable which was like punishment from the hell for wrong deeds. "Ahhhhhh" Xavier cried out and shouted for help but no answer came. The pain was so unbearable it seems never to end, as the pain continued to torture Xavier. Xavier wanted nothing more than to die swiftly but deep in his heart he didn't want to give up on this new life. As the time passed by Xavier continued to suffer and for Xavier even a second seem to be long time due to endless pain. Xavier never imagined after his reincarnation he would feel such torture and the pain he was suffering slowly started to wither and Xavier collapsed. When Xavier woke up he found the book which had turned into ashes, but the necklace and the paper was stilled there. When Xavier removed all of his bandage he found the wounds had disappeared and an unknown power surging inside him. "I guess this necklace is also not ordinary " and Xavier remembered the paper inside the box. When Xavier read the letter he didn't understand the words
