The day before departure, Ji-woo was called by Odulir to inform him that the two Amulet Shields had been completed. He felt a little relieved because before leaving his family again, he got something that could protect them.
Of course, even though it looked overpowered, the Amulet Shield was only limited to four or five attacks of any type. Depending on the extent of the magic item created by Odulir, it could sometimes be enhanced to the point of being able to withstand ten attacks before it was destroyed. But even just the ability to block four to five dangers was enough for him now.
The Amulet Shield worked when someone attacked and threatened the user, a sparkling energy shield appeared around the wearer. The shield was impervious to normal or deadly attacks and could even repel any powerful magic spell.
