Unlike in the animated movie, simply punching him into a boom tube wouldn't make him forget this planet for another few years, the man could just open another boom tube or, even in anger, simply create a portal using his Omega effect and continue the fight.

They clearly couldn't affect his mind, nor could they do anything that would truly affect him.

"Well, they haven't faced the might of a green lantern before," Green Lantern said as he charged in their direction

[Listen, you overgrown child!!] Nathan shouted as he basically vanished from his spot and slapped the green idiot back on the ground.

"Oh, you have messed up" Green lantern said as he stood up from small crater his body had formed

[What do you think you can do, they have fought and killed Great Lanterns from the Guardians themselves to Abin Sur, it seems the Guardians didn't give you enough training before they sent you out!!] Nathan shouted angrily

Here he was worried about the lives of more than 7 billion people and this idiot wants to go face the monster known as Darkseid without even having a plan.

The Manhunters have failed in their mission against Darkseid, as have the Guardians, so what the heck did this new recruit think he could do.

Even at his most powerful, he would never be able to do shit to Darkseid if he was truly using his full power.

"Don't you think you are going too far?" Superman said as he stepped in between the two.

Even he could easily tell that Nathan may have been ready to kill the man.

[I'm sorry] Nathan said, taking a deep breath, he was just about to do something stupid

"That… that's a lie, the Guardians entrusted this ring to me by themselves!" Hal said in disbelief as he looked at Superman who simply turned away in order not to get involved in the fight.

His lack of response sort of confirmed that it was true, which hurt him even more than it was supposed to
