Wondering that to myself, I heard God speak out to me again.
"Your starting age has been selected.", God said, only to do a sudden snap of his fingers. Seeing that drew my attention immediately. The screen I saw floating above began to twist and distort into a small blue sphere, and suddenly launched my way, quickly getting absorbed into my ball of light.
"Did you just do what I think you did?", I asked with interest.
"Yes. This system now belongs to you, Mr. Takakura. For now, why don't we sum up what the wheel has chosen for you? All you need to do is think about it and it will react to you.", God said, giving me an explanation of how it works.
I proceeded to create a thought of imagining a system, and sure enough, I soon heard a ding sound off inside my mind this time, not just in the room.
[Greetings, Master. I have been assigned to you by T%&*#$)^%S3fw. It is a pleasure to meet you. Would the host like to view what has been selected thus far?]
Hearing a mechanical voice sound off inside my mind, sure enough it does look like I received a system.
'That would be nice. You tried to introduce God's name to me, but I couldn't quite make it out?', I inwardly thought to myself.

'Unfortunate. I was hoping to thank God in person, but I guess I'll continue addressing him as God then. Let's proceed to show me my summary thus far.', I inwardly thought.

Before I realized it, my soul began to take shape the moment I saw this status screen appear inside my mind. My ball of light began to twist and distort, and my previous appearance as a twenty year old average looking man with short black hair was soon replaced by a rather muscular person sporting brown hair.
"I guess I should address you as Baki now, hoho.", God said, revealing a smile at me as my figure formed before him.
"Yeah, this will take some time getting used to.", I said, nodding my head in acknowledgement.

And perhaps it was because of Baki's character, my eyes were currently slanted diagonally a bit, appearing to have a lazy attitude. But I wasn't acting lazy presently, far from it. My interest was only growing more and more seeing that status screen before me.
"It seems the selections have been completed, but what's these about selecting a theme?", I asked.
"Ah, that. You can select what type of environment you would like to be placed in. Like an apocalyptic one, a futuristic one, the old west, modern day, work life, being a student, and so on. Your karma is sufficient to choose one yourself.", God explained to me.
"So it's basically an occupation really, depending on what theme you choose. In that case, it's simple, isn't it? I was about to start my university studies. Age will get reversed a bit, but I'll continue being a student. High school was pretty fun.", I said, immediately selecting school life again.
Plus I'd rather not want to get on Shield's radar as Baki. He is human, but he has every right to be classified as a freak, a superhero, whatever you want to call him. Those martial artists were by far depicted in a very unnatural light. But that's what made Baki unique. He absorbs everything.
[Ding! Theme has been selected]

Seeing my status window update, the question marks disappeared over Selected Theme, and what replaced it was Occupation.
So that left stats and skills, huh?
"It seems we're approaching the end with my occupation chosen. How are stats going to work?", I decided to ask God.
"Not everything comes free, Mr. Baki. You will be undergoing what's known as a character reset. You'll retain Baki's skills, plus I'll grant a few boons for you to adapt to these worlds. These worlds are intriguing, to say the least. It's weaving several different energy signatures together.", God said, rubbing his beard with growing interest. I nodded at his words and willed the system to continue displaying my stats and skills.

Becoming the son of the strongest creature, Baki has given you his blessing. Grappling techniques will become even easier to master. Other techniques can be mastered with ease. Baki's body knows no limit.
Grants Skill: [Perfect Comprehension]
Additional Effect:
Gain 3 STR points per STR Gain. Any action taken to increase STR is further increased by 3 points.
Experience Gain is boosted by 50%.

Able to study and learn anything and everything without any setbacks.

[Curse Reversal]
Any curse placed on user reverses its effects, granting them a boon instead of a negative effect. Note, this does not target Cursed Spirits, as user consumes Cursed Energy to use skills of a Cursed Spirit or Curse Techniques. Techniques that inflict Curses, however, can be reversed.
[Basic Martial Arts Mastery]
User has knowledge of how basic martial arts are performed. Can action any technique within basic martial arts.
[Adaptable Body]
User can adapt to any environment user is thrown into, including user's internal structure. No matter the type of energy, user will be able to use it.
Additional Effect:
Gain 2 END points per END Gain. Gain an extra 10 HP per HP gain.
Gain additional 5 ki per Level.

User has a unique aura that instills fear into others. Those with a weak mind will feel fear. Others who have strong will may grow interested in you.

Seeing this status screen presented before me, I couldn't help but suck in a cold breath of air, even though the present atmosphere didn't feel cold. I could see God smiling at me in the distance.
"Sure enough, Baki's character did get reset, but he retained his knowledge and skills. I'm guessing once I start diving into other martial art styles, the techniques will naturally return to me?", I decided to ask after regaining my composure.
"Yes. You have the components available to you, and it will be up to you how to utilize them.", God answered me, nodding his head.
"I didn't think I'd receive these many skills at the start either. I'm guessing [Ogre's Chains], [Baki's Blessing], [Perfect Comprehension], [Adaptable Body], [Basic Martial Arts Mastery], and [Baki's Aura] was due to me choosing Baki. But what's the deal with these [Perfect Host] and [Curse Reversal] skills?", I asked God.
"Hoho, just some extra karma you've left over. I converted them into a couple skills that I think you'll find more use out of, considering the selected worlds. It should put you on par or if not higher for when Jujutsu Kaisen and Dandandan start. Dandandan especially, there are many wacky and weird cursed spirits there with unpredictable abilities. You'll be able to subdue them regardless.", God answered with a smile.
"Then to make up for it, I gotta work to get these other types of energies unlocked. This should give me some goals to work towards, apart from enjoying high school life.", I said, responding with a smile of my own.
Still, I had Baki's body now, and it was sixteen years old. He still had that adolescent look in his eyes, but his body was bulging with muscle. It was still slim. It wasn't the beefed up version of Baki that would make its appearance in the latter half. My hair was still pretty short too. One could easily tell I looked more like a kid than that of an adult.
But that was a charm to Baki's appearance. Inviting and friendly, but what was hiding within was a ferocious tiger.
"I guess it's time to go now huh? I almost feel a bit sentimental being able to converse with you like this, God. I really do thank you for giving me a second chance.", I said, bowing my head at him.
"Oh it is no problem at all. I am curious to see how your life will turn out from here. I will give you one final reminder before I set you off on your new life.", God said, being thankful for the thanks I gave him.
"And what would that be?", I asked.
"I did a few tweaks while you were observing your new status. Five of the seven worlds you selected thankfully follow the same calendar structure. DBZ, and Frieren, however, do not. They've been updated to match your starting point. As we've previously discussed, Goku will start at Age 16, meaning it will be eight years until those Saiyans arrive at your new earth. As for Frieren, the events of Himmel the Hero have concluded, and Frieren will be with her new party. That world likely will not interact with yours for quite some time, but it is possible you may have unexpected encounters.", God explained to me.
"Got it. So it won't be an immediate issue to deal with compared to the other selected worlds.", I said, nodding my head at God.
"Exactly. Apart from that, the MCU and Jujutsu Kaisen do have pre-outlining events that have taken place, but its current progress shouldn't impact you directly. To Love-Ru and Dandandan have yet to take place. And the last point to bring up is Baki. I've placed you at the start of the Underground Arena Saga, right after Baki experiences defeat with Yujiro. You will be at the point where Baki finished his world travels and returned to Japan to settle down. You should still have some time before encountering Senior Tokugawa and his bodyguards. The only difference is, you will be starting out at sixteen years old at the beginning of this saga, instead of at the end of it.", God said, explaining the situation to me.
"Thank you for that. Guess this is a goodbye then. I probably wasted way more than enough of your time. If there comes a time, I do hope we can meet again. And hopefully not in this room.", I said with a smile, waving goodbye to God.
"The possibilities are endless as they say. As a parting gift, Baki was essentially left homeless after that fight, so I ported your two-story house over from your previous life and did a bit of shuffling. Do be sure to check your inventory too.", God responded to me, waving his hand.
Before I could even ask about that last part, my vision suddenly turned dark.
Seeing the soul present before him now gone, vanishing out of existence, only to start another, God was now left alone again. Rubbing his beard, he remained silent before he uttered to himself.
"Mr. Takakura was such a nice fellow. I enjoyed that engaging conversation with him. I do hope he enjoys his new life as Baki Hanma.", God uttered to himself, before he turned around, observing the endless white space before him. "And not many take the randomize option either. I should go inform the God of Chaos that it was a success. And who knows, perhaps our roads will cross again.", God continued to say to himself, before vanishing into the endless white space, acting as if he was never there in the first place.
