Within the expanse of a majestic palace that reached towards the heavens, its grandeur surpassed imagination. Crafted from the finest materials, its golden roof shimmered under the sun, resembling jade, adorned with intricate symbols and patterns.
The servants of the Ye Clan bustled with anticipation, preparing for the arrival of a new member. Madam Luo Yuxin, the cherished wife of the current patriarch, had gone into labor.
In a meticulously designed room, bathed in the soft glow of moon-stones, lay a lady with raven-black hair as deep and dark as the night sky. Her facial features were perfection personified, radiating an air of authority and dignity that commanded respect. Her background only further enhanced her formidable presence.
Although enduring the pains of childbirth, her countenance remained serene, masking the intensity of the struggle within. Yet, the room itself betrayed the ordeal, its icy chill permeating the air, visible cracks appearing in space. Even with the presence of a space-establishing array, the anguish of childbirth overwhelmed even someone as resolute as her.
"Miss, you can do it! Just a little more," encouraged a woman in her mid-thirties, her eyes filled with unwavering support as she looked upon the lady lying on the bed.
"My lady, please give one final push. The baby is coming," urged the skilled midwife attending to the delivery.
Outside the room, two men garbed in resplendent robes awaited nervously. Their noble bearing exuded an aura of royalty, their hearts filled with anticipation.
"Patriarch Ye, there's no need for such anxiety. My lady and the baby will be fine. The midwife attending the delivery is unparalleled within the Ye Clan and among the best in the Middle Heaven. Please have faith in Lady Luo," reassured the older man, his voice laced with confidence, directed towards the youthful and handsome man pacing restlessly in the corridor.
"Ye Shaofeng, I trust Xin'er wholeheartedly. Yet, it's only natural for me to feel anxious. This is my first child, and soon I shall become a father. How can I not be nervous?" replied the youth, his handsome face adorned with crimson red eyes and silver-white hair that perfectly complemented his features.
"Has the Heaven Shielding Array been activated around the palace? And what of our security measures?" inquired Ye Tian Xuan, his voice tinged with concern, directed at Ye Shaofeng.
"Patriarch, the Heaven Shielding Array and all the protective formations have been meticulously deployed by one of our esteemed elders, a master of Heaven-tier arrays," responded Ye Shaofeng. "Regarding security, we have assigned 1000 silver-tier guards, 100 gold-tier guards, and 20 elders to safeguard the entrances and perimeters of the county. Within the secret realm, aside from the silver and gold-tier members, we have assigned 5 Grand Elders, along with the elite Shadow Guards, to protect the palace," he explained with a reassuring tone.
"Hmm, it should be sufficient," affirmed Ye Tian Xuan, finding solace in Ye Shaofeng's words.
As the conversation outside continued, a few minutes passed, and suddenly, the distinct sound of a baby's cry echoed from within the room. The midwife opened the door, excitement etched upon her face, and declared to the gathering crowd, "It's a boy!" Unable to contain his anticipation any longer, Ye Tian Xuan hurried inside to meet his newborn son and his wife.
"Please let me hold him," whispered the weary voice of the child's mother. Her beauty captivated all, her obsidian locks and amethyst eyes juxtaposed against her cold and aloof expression, yet brimming with affection for the little one.
A stern, yet affectionate, black-haired woman reprimanded her gently, a smile adorning her face. "Miss, please lie back down. You are still weak. Here is the little young master."
The joyful atmosphere was interrupted by a sudden, exuberant shout from a man. "Xin'er! Let me see my little boy!"
"Tian Xuan, please be quiet. The baby has just fallen asleep after crying," Luo Yuxin replied, lying on the bed with her half-asleep baby.
"I apologize, but I couldn't contain my overwhelming emotions," expressed Ye Tian Xuan sincerely.
"Welcome to our family, my son," whispered the man, cradling his precious bundle carefully, careful not to disturb the peaceful slumber. He cherished the moment, having learned from past experience the consequences of waking the baby and drawing his wife's ire.
The child bore the perfect amalgamation of his parents' features, with a face as enchanting as his mother's and silver tresses reminiscent of his father's. Yet, his heterochromatic eyes, one a regal purple matching his mother's, and the other a red eye with captivating golden hue, set him apart from the ordinary.
Overwhelmed by the sight of his child for the first time, Ye Tian Xuan held him tenderly, gently caressing his soft cheek.
"Hmmm... as the firstborn and future heir of the illustrious Ye Family, I, Ye Tian Xuan, bestow upon you the name Ye Tian Yun."
