"What's going on here?" Luffy was dumbfounded. A few seconds ago, he was happy that he could escape from his grandpa, so why is he back here again?

The mere thought of facing his grandfather's anger scared him, and he was about to run away again.

But here, a fist quickly hit Luffy's head.

" Stupid Grandson, why are you running! This is the fist of love!"

About thirty minutes later, Garp was still in his own world, lecturing both Dandan and Luffy.

Obviously, for this kind of matter, Seth didn't want to have any part of it. This was purely their family matter, and Seth didn't want to get dragged by Luffy and get lectured by Garp.

Rather, his interest was in a certain someone.

Right now, sitting next to him was the beautiful Makino.

Different from the other beauties Seth had met so far, Makino had the charm of a simple, innocent villager, and to be honest, Seth really liked this kind of woman.

However, Seth didn't approach Makino just because of her beauty. Rather, he wanted to see how would his system react when he interacted with Makino.

" Hello, my name is Seth!" Seth greeted with a smile.

Nonetheless, he could still see that Makino seemed to be a bit warried about him. It appeared that he didn't give a good first impression when he ran and caught Luffy before.

" *Sigh* Don't be like that. You know I also have no other choices, right? That old man over there is a monster…"

Makino seemed to frown a bit after hearing Seth's explanation. But not long after, she seemed to have caught into something before her frowning face turned into a chuckle.

" *Chuckles* Well, I'm sorry for blaming you. I'm Makino!"

The iconic smile of Makino had returned, and seeing this beautiful smile, Seth could now see why some fans in his previous world even said that she was the woman that had charmed Shanks and made him brave enough to play around Garp's territory.

This kind of smile, it was one that was worth risking one's life into.

Nonetheless, Seth quickly recovered. He didn't get here only to be charmed by Makino, instead..

' Hmm… no choice option yet. It seems that I need more than just talk with a beauty.'

Yup, Seth was trying to find the requirement of his choice system. The more he understands the system, the better. And since a harmless beauty was now in front of him, Seth definitely wanted to try.

Makino at first seemed to keep some distance from Seth, but as more time passed and they chatted more, Seth could feel the distance between them slowly getting closer. Of course, it was all thanks to his super-high charm. Still, it didn't mean that if Seth wanted to Makino would agree to do that thing with Seth.

The close here means that they could do some normal chat without getting awkward.

Unfortunately, their hearty chat didn't last that long.

Just when Seth thought he could finally get a drink with Makino, Garp came and interrupted them.

" Kid, you are not falling for her, right?"

Garp said with a smirk, which made Makino blush.

This old monkey, just what did he intend to do… Seth held his head as he retorted, but Garp was faster.

" Hahahaha, it's not bad, kid. Makino indeed is one of the best women in our village! I fully support you if you want to be with her. Still… I need your help now!"

" You.. it's not-"

But without him noticing and without even waiting for him to finish his sentence, Garp had already held into Seth's collar, and with full force, he threw Seth outside.

" Sorry, but I need you to do me a favor first!"

Seth was a bit late to react, he was thrown into the window and was about to land with his butt first into the ground. But the last two months of training were not without any gain. While still in the air, he quickly stabilized himself and landed on his foot.

" Smelly old man, what are you?"

" Seth, please stay still, I will talk with Luffy for a bit!"

"???"

Garp appeared from his door as he pointed at Luffy, much to Luffy's and Seth's confusion. Then, he turned at Luffy.

" Luffy, do you two want to be Pirate?"

Garm said with a smile. Here, Seth could already guess what Garp intended to do.

But Luffy was not quick enough to catch what was going on. He heard his grandpa's words, and a broad smile appeared on his face. He thought that his grandpa had finally acknowledged his dream.

"Yes, Grandpa, I want to be Pirate King"

" Good, I'm not going to hinder you from your dream. But you must know that as a Pirate, your path would be filled with dangers, and I only requested that you are able to protect yourself."

Here, nothing seemed wrong with Garp's words. Except for Seth that have been able to realize what Garp had really meant.

This old man, he is a monster. It felt like giving Luffy hope before plunging him into the depth of hell.

Then, with a smile that looked prin and proper, Garp turned as he pointed at Seth.

" My request is simple. If you could beat him up, then I will approve you to be a Pirate! How is it? Simple isn't it?"

" ….. "
