I am a Rich Second-Generation in One Piece

Seth traversed to the One Piece World. His identity is a Rich Second Generation and he is also Vivi's fiancee. Fortunately, he can make choices to get corresponding rewards. Note: This is my own take on the rich second-generation villain genre. 【Ding! Vivi wants to break the engagement! Please make a choice! 】 【Choice 1: Be the embodiment of licking dog and apologize to her. Reward: ‘Master Level Martial Arts’! 】 【Choice 2: Resolutely retire from engagement, refuse to lick the dog! Reward: ‘God-level Drawing Skills’! 】 Who says that his destiny is to be trampled by the villain and protagonist of this world? Notes: The first two chapters are pretty much the same as Gao-fushuai villain as it was the one that heavily inspired this fanfic. Please support me on my Pàtreon ^_^

Ch 15 : Beginner observation Haki

I am a rich second generation in One Piece Ch 15

'System, why haven't I gotten the reward of choice yet?'

[ DING!!! The host hasn't completely made Ace listen to you. Please work harder, host. The beginner observation Haki is waiting for you.]

Well, there was no free lunch in this world. To make Ace listen, it seems that Seth needed to do harder than just mentioning Sabo's name.

Different than other transmigrators, Seth didn't really mind if his interference had changed the timeline. From the time he had broken his engagement to Vivi or tried to recruit Tashigi and Isuka, the history of the world had inevitably changed. In that case, it was no big deal to tell Ace that Sabo was not dead. Rather, it would only benefit him as this would help him complete the choices from the system.

As for what happened after this, none of them were Seth's concern. He was no longer the Seth from the earth, and his only concern was to make his family and the people he cared safe.

"You.. you are not lying to me, right?"

At first, Ace seemed to have a hard time believing Seth's words. But when he saw the confidence in Seth's face. He slowly believed that Seth was not lying.

"He… he isn't dead!? Great… That's great!

After listening to Ian's words, Ace burst into tears. Normally, he was not the type that was easy to cry, but for something like this, Ace had a small soft spot in his heart.

Just like what Garp says in the anime…

"I have no sympathy for criminals. But for my family, I do."

Seth did not speak but looked at Ace quietly. He understood the sentiment between the three brothers and naturally understood Ace's feelings at this time. He just waited patiently until Ace got his composure back.

After crying for a while, Ace suddenly remembered something. He grabbed the corner of Seth's clothes as he wiped his face. Tears and runny nose were directly left on Seth's clothes.

The guards saw this and were about to move, but Seth raised his hand, telling them that everything was under control.

Right now, he could not lose his temper. He still needed to finish the system choices first before he would kick the ass of this Roger's son.

Before Seth could respond, Ace suddenly sat on the ground, bowed down to Seth deeply, and said, "Thank you! That's the best news I've heard since I went to the sea, but please tell me. Since Sabo is not dead, could you tell me where he might be?"

The scene of Ace begging for something wholeheartedly was very rare. Unfortunately, Seth didn't come for charity at this time.

He held Ace's body and helped him to stand up.

"Don't.. I am not your benefactor. In fact, I'm here to offer a deal."

"A deal?" Ace was a little bit confused.

"Yes, but don't worry. This deal shouldn't go beyond your tolerance. Or rather, it should be in line with your goal." Seth mysteriously smiled before he took out something from his pocket and hand it to Ace.

"Take a look at this. He is Crocodile, one of the Sichibukai, one of the greatest forces in the sea. Your goal is to be the Pirate King, right? And for that, you need to defeat the Sichibukai first. Come to Alabasta and defeat him. After that, I will give you the information that you wanted."

To defeat a Logia, you would either need other Logia, a haki, or a seastone, which none of them Seth currently possessed.

Therefore, his goal from the start was this. He wanted to use Ace to defeat Crocodile. And even if Ace couldn't defeat Crocodile, he should still be able to wound Crocodile, and all that's left to Seth was to deal the finishing blow.

Just then, Ace suddenly thought of something. He looked at Seth with a crooked head and a question mark on his face and said, "Weird, why can't I remember? I don't remember seeing you! What's your name? Why do you know about Sabo and me?"

For this kind of question, Seth also didn't have a good answer. He just shook his head as he said: "You don't need to care so much. Just think of it as a fateful arrangement! By the way, it is Seth, sorry for the late introduction!"

"Pftt… What fateful encounter!" Ace laughed. "Since you don't want to say it, then I won't ask you! Anyway, it wouldn't change the fact that I'm thankful to you. For you, this might be an exchange, but for me, it is a hope that my brother is still alive somewhere out there."

The exchange between the two lasted for several more minutes, and Seth gave Ace the Logue pose to Alabasta and told him where he could find Crocodile. After that, Seth decided to leave.

It would definitely not be a good thing if someone were to take his picture here. A merchant having a connection with a pirate would be considered pretty normal. But things might be blown out of proportion if the pirate was the son of Roger.

As Seth returned back to his hotel room, a notification prompted in his mind.

[ Ding! Receive the reward "'Beginner Observation haki'!!]

After a long time, his hard work had finally paid off. Seth really didn't know whether to cry or laugh. Handling one of that family members was already very tiring. He really didn't know how the Straw Hats could keep up with Luffy antics.

However, that was not the main point. After getting the beginner Observation Haki, Seth immediately felt there was something changing with his sense. It was a lot more precise, and Seth felt if he was in a battle, he could slightly predict his opponent's movements.

But just when Seth was about to take a rest, he immediately noticed there was something wrong.

'This feeling… damn, was I being tailed all along?'

Getting the Observation haki. Seth had become way more observant toward his surrounding, and when he couldn't get this feeling of being watched out of his mind, then there was only one answer. And he was really being tailed.
