Jeff's In The Dog House...

When they left Jeff's office, all the secretaries outside stared at them, wondering who the lovely woman next to their CEO was.

"Is she the woman in the news not long ago?" One employee said of the girl next to her cubicle.

"You mean the one with the face mask and sunglasses they observed exiting the private elevator? Too bad we can't take a picture to see whether there's a match." The other female replied, not aware that Jeff had overheard them.

Jeff and Ann had already walked by the cubicle when he heard what they were saying and paused for a second. He then turned around and gave them a severe, frigid expression before saying.

"It appears I'm giving you too little work, so you'll have time for rumors. So tell me, do you guys want to keep working for me?" He didn't even wait for an answer before storming out of the building with Ann in tow.

As they drove along, the tranquil hum of the engine was interrupted by a voice from the back seat.

"Do you need to be so cruel to them?" someone asked, concern lacing their words.

"A warning would have been sufficient. You understand that you didn't need to terrify them."

Ann turned to face Jeff, her stunning green eyes glistening with subtle emotion. They were only an inch apart, and he felt like drowning in her eyes as they locked gazes.

"I didn't mistreat them, my darling spouse," Jeff replied, his voice calm and controlled.

"I am simply paying them to do work and not to spread rumors about us. It's not significant to them."

Ann was captivated by his eloquence and felt a surge of admiration for him, urging her to want to devour him with affection.

Jeff responded by enveloping her in a warm embrace, holding her close until they arrived at the restaurant.

As the couple made their way into the restaurant, their arrival didn't go unnoticed.

The other patrons' expressions lightened as they saw the newcomers, sensing their hunger, not knowing it was not for the food but for each other.

Jeff took his place at the head of the table, flanked by CEO Albert Tan on his right and Sophia Tan on his left.

Across from her father, Claudia Tan couldn't hide her dissatisfaction with the seating arrangement. She wished she could be seated directly next to Jeff, a logistical impossibility.

Ann's mother, Sophia Tan, found herself situated next to her daughter. Despite her efforts to avoid interacting with Sophia or engaging in conversation, luck was not on Ann's side that day.

Without knowing their relationship, Jeff proposed a commercial featuring a mother-daughter duo.

He even commented on their resemblance, claiming they could pass for Mother and daughter, and people would believe it without doubt.

CEO Tan concurred with Jeff's observation that the two looked similar:

"What Ann looks like now is how Sophia looked back in the old days when we first met in college." He said he was curious about their relationship and wanted to learn more.

Ann smiled and cast a meaningful glance at her mother, but she chose to remain silent. However, her demeanor changed entirely when she directed a withering glare at Jeff.

Claudia interpreted Jeff's remark as a reference to her and Sophia, and she couldn't contain her excitement.

"I think that's a fantastic idea, Jeff!" she exclaimed, fixing him with a look that conveyed a mix of anticipation and determination as if she were preparing to confront a formidable challenge.

She didn't notice her mistake until Sophia said, "Sure, why not? Ann would benefit from getting some exposure. I do not mind at all. Unfortunately, I do not have any upcoming sponsorships or engagements. How about it, Ann?"

"That's not a bad concept. I can discuss it with my manager, and I will get back to you if it is okay with you," Ann said, not making eye contact with Sophia.

Sophia did not have another chance to communicate with Ann. After lunch, they said their goodbyes and parted ways.

She couldn't explain the emotion creeping slowly through her heart just now, like a yearning for a valuable item she had lost or given away and wished to reclaim. Her heart ached right now!

As soon as they arrived home, Sophia shut herself in the guest room that night, armed with a bottle of wine, a couple of boxes of Kleenex, and a box full of memorabilia dating back about 20 years.

She gave Albert and Claudia the reason that she needed to prepare for an upcoming drama, and they believed her—or at least Claudia did—but CEO Tan did not. He had misgivings and was required to validate them.

Meanwhile, at Jeff Mansion, the couple was having a heated dispute about their sleeping arrangements.

"Look! Look! It is mentioned that we will have separate houses, and you must schedule an appointment to do so. You know," exclaimed Ann, glaring at Jeff.

"So... so... to rectify this..." She didn't get a chance to continue her sentence since Jeff was on top of her, making her forget what they had been discussing.

Jeff had the appetite of a wolf who was ready to devour her. He had given up sexual activity four years prior.

For Four years in the past, he'd woken up in the middle of the night from a wet dream, and he'd taken innumerable cold showers.

"Never again!"

Jeff felt awful for his wife the following day since she was hardly able to move. Ann's left and right thighs were covered in red marks, and she experienced pain between her thighs.

When Jeff realized that he was the root of all of her present suffering, he couldn't believe what he was seeing. When it came to mating, he was a beast! Because he was so vicious, he was afraid to hurt her more the next time.

Ann looked like a happy rag doll after they had made love. She did not voice any objections either yesterday night or four years ago.

Ann, who was so tired, had no idea that her husband was sitting next to her on the bed, agonizing over what to do next. She was fast asleep and dreaming about something wet! when her breathing and groaning started.

Jeff started to worry that she was hurting. He was at a loss for what to do. He tenderly embraced his wife as he sobbed and apologized repeatedly.

Ann felt Jeff's embrace but was still dreaming. She began kissing and touching him in her dreams, but she had no idea she was doing the same outside of her fantasies.

Jeff was perplexed and unsure of what was happening but couldn't resist the growing excitement. The animal within him wished to be free.

Jeff's feral instincts were unleashed once more. He fought hard to contain himself, but he was only a man. Add Ann's moaning and panting, and he was thoroughly aroused.

This time, however, he tried to be as delicate and loving as possible; he wanted to offer her heaven rather than hell!

Ann awoke to find a pair of deep blue eyes staring at her. It surprised her that she quickly became wide awake, with all traces of sleepiness gone.

"Hello!" Jeff scratched his head with embarrassment.

Ann then carefully rose off the bed. She was in such pain that she could hardly walk into the restroom.

She was thinking to herself as she was brushing her teeth, "Last night was amazing; our kissing was unbelievable, but even if I could hide all the bruises, how am I going to hide all the hickeys on my neck?" This is overindulgent!

An attractive tall man appeared at the bathroom door, grinning from ear to ear as she studied the evidence in front of the mirror.

"I'm sorry! "Please forgive me. Do you find me offensive?" After giving her a quick embrace from behind, he proceeded to kiss each bruise on her body.

Ann gave him a nasty snort and disregarded his entreaties. What more could she say? It was all okay and done. She was already crimson, black, and blue. [Like fireworks.]

Her expression indicated that she was in anguish all day. Lea had tried to discuss anything with her, but she was utterly uninterested. Her head was still on cloud nine from the night before.

Lea was unsure of what Ann was thinking. After some time passed without Ann saying anything, Lea quickly got up and called Jeff for an explanation.

"There's nothing wrong. Last night, I just got carried away, just a little, and she's probably still in pain right now," he replied, wanting to clarify things to Lea.

He didn't have to explain, but she was Ann's closest friend.

"If it's any consolation, I promise you that I won't ever do that again from now on!" Jeff declared before hanging up. Lea was perplexed on the other end of the line.

Right after the call, Lea told Ann that Jeff had pledged to her that he would never do what he had done to Ann the night before again.

After hearing what Lea had said, not inquiring why Jeff would make such a pledge, she declared. "If that's what he wants and will never sleep with me again, then so be it! See if I care!"

When Jeff returned home that night, he was treated silently, and he had no idea what he had done wrong. He was shut out of the room when it was time for them to sleep.

What's going on? Why is the door locked? "Ann...Honey! Sweetie pie, my love! Why are you angry with me? Please open the door, honeybunch." He whispered from the other side of the locked door.

Everyone in the house heard Jeff begging and pleading to his wife to open the door, and they all thought it was hilarious.

Everyone at the Mansion heard and witnessed what was happening with the pair, however, Ronald and Lea were the most terrified. If they don't patch up before bed, everyone in the Mansion, including them, will pay the price the following day.

"Do something, why don't you!" Lea pressed Ronald, "You're his assistant; shouldn't you assist him right now?"

Who knows what will happen if they don't help Jeff, who appears to have no experience gratifying his wife.

"Why me? You are her best friend and manager. You probably have a higher chance of success than I. I am merely an assistant, and my rank is lesser than yours." Ronald argued.

Jeff could have easily entered the room with a key, but he didn't want her to be any more unhappy than she already was, and who knew what she would do once he was inside?

In other words, he backed out. He kept lightly tapping and spoke sweetly outside the room, near the door.

"Sweetheart, if I have done or said anything wrong, please forgive me once and open the door, please... pretty please!" Jeff pleaded nonstop for what seemed like hours.

"I promise I'll never do it again, okay!"

The exact words that got him into trouble, and he's repeating them! Is this person sitting on his brain, or what? Lea reflected as she listened to what Jeff was saying.

Meanwhile, Ann sat on the bed, reading a book inside the room. When she heard what Jeff said, she couldn't help but feel even more aggrieved.

As Jeff continued to plead desperately, the woman's anger intensified. It became evident that the CEO's behavior was far from promising for everyone in the household.

Despite her reservations, she had no choice but to forgive him and unlock the door.

When Jeff heard the distinct sound of the door being unlocked, he realized that he had been granted reprieve.

As she opened the door, he mustered the finest smile he could manage, hoping to convey his sincerity. "Peace! Okay, I adore you," he said with a mixture of relief and genuine affection.

"Just this once, I will forgive you, but it won't happen again next time, you hear me!" She tried hard to sound angry, but when she saw her husband's handsome face, she couldn't help but grin while scolding him.

What else could Ann do when confronted with the world's most lovely and handsome man but melt into his hug and kisses?

After the couple closed the door, everyone gladly went to bed.

After a week, Ann had adjusted to her new lifestyle. Jeff was an adoring and caring husband who had been indulging her to the fullest. Lea, her friend and manager, was both envious and happy.

However, no matter how romantic they were right now, the fact that they were secretly married remained an issue. Only those surrounding Jeff Mansion were aware of the truth.

That evening, as they lay side by side in bed, wrapped in the warmth of the covers, Jeff gently prodded Ann about her future endeavors.

His intention was to reassure her that he would support her, regardless of the path she chose to take.

Rather than directly responding to his inquiry, Ann responded with a tender kiss, closed her eyes, and feigned sleep.

In truth, she was wide awake and struggling to articulate her thoughts.

She grappled with the weight of her own unspoken plans and aspirations and the realization that there was still much about each other that they had yet to discover.

With a hectic agenda looming, Ann decided to lay low for the next four days.

She avoided venturing out in fear of an unexpected encounter with her mother...~~~
