I Would Had Chosen You!

"What do you mean there's no available seat on any flight tonight?" Lea questioned the travel agency.

"I apologize, ma'am! But we are now completely booked. Korea has an award ceremony, and we are now overbooked." The travel agent apologized to Lea.

"Forget it, then!" She hung up and walked to Ann, who was now calmer and waiting for the news.

"Sorry! No way, my best pal! No flights appear available; how about I check for tomorrow?" Lea was trying to get Ann to brighten up.

"It's okay!" I'm too weary, anyhow. I was unhappy previously. I'll play it by ear, okay!" Ann informed Lea. Ann's gorgeous face showed signs of tiredness.

Ann suggested, "Why don't you head home first? I need to make a stop at the hospital on my way back to give a report. Please have dinner ready, and we can spend a peaceful evening together at home. How does that sound?"

Despite attempting to sound upbeat, traces of sadness still tinged Ann's voice.
