Finally an upgrade

I had a plan on how I wanted to kill the boss without even being close to him, I touched every arrow and put [homing] (the same as a [true shot] arrow) on them, with some of them, I took the blood which I poisoned and put it on the arrows. With that prepared I had perfectly aimed arrows with poison on them, I started shooting, one arrow, two, three...

- Boss Goblin : "AUAHAH, RRRR..."

After the first arrow, he got instantly mad, he took his giant mass and was looking in the direction of the arrow. It was not stupid but didn't work because with my [homing] arrows I could bow him from far and also move without affecting my shots. My speed boots allowed me to move quickly while shooting, which is what I did.

The boss was more and more confused because he was taking arrows from everywhere and just one every time. For someone else in his position, it could have looked like a bunch of archers were hunting him but shooting one after another and not at the same time.

- Boss Goblin : " RRRRRRRRRRR.."

With his war cry, he made all the other small goblins go into berserk mode and search for me in the wood. But there was no use because I could basically shoot from every angle in every direction and it would end in the boss. It made them very confused, I shot in the air which made it look like someone is in the tree I shot in multiple directions, at multiple angles, making the goblins spread everywhere.

- Me : "I don't know how healthy it has, that's the problem"

The goblins and the boss weren't a problem from that far but my amount of arrows definitely was. I would absolutely not try to fight him one on one, I saw how those poor hunters finished, I'll just have to hope that it's enough. If it's not well, I just lost arrows for basically nothing but it's not a great loss considering how much stuff I won. I didn't carry everything on me but I put them in a hole before starting apart from a sword, the bow, and the arrows.

I continued, again, again and again, hopefully, I had homing arrows because I was never really good with a bow at school, if I had just done it with poison on them I would have hitten maybe not even 2 or 3 arrows. While continuing to shoot him some goblins actually found me by accident by they died from the sword I had with [slash] that can slash from far like it was so much bigger than it really was.

- A hunter not far : "It seems that the goblins are in berserk and archers are shooting the boss"

- A different hunter : "Let's not go there, we might end up in the cross-fire"

- A hunter in the same team : "We will go around the village and kill the Goblins, it will be enough for the hunt today, the objective is 5 goblins each for 1 silver coin per goblin, don't go far"

- The rest of the team : "Okay"

They seemed a little annoying but at least they won't get my kill, while listening to them I continued bowing and the fight ended pretty well, before getting my loot I bowed the last of the goblins in the village. I had pretty good luck because I had close to no arrow left.

- Boss Goblin : "Rrr, ahh"

The Boss was still alive but almost dead, he couldn't even move and couldn't cry enough to make the goblins come back. I finished him with the sword but then a screen appeared.

The screen : You have defeated the boss of this evil region, you can either upgrade the number of upgrades/degrade you can do or upgrade the level of them.

Me : I clicked on [number]

The screen : You can now put 2 upgrades or degrade on an object at once, continue this way

After that, the screen just disappeared, okay I guess, it just appeared out of nowhere and disappear into thin air. Well, I didn't know I could upgrade my power but it's good to know, I decided to take more upgrades because I have more flexibility with my future plans. Sometimes after a little screen appeared with value, first my name, then my age, info about my power and also what is very interesting is the [good point] and I'm at -30.

On the comment it was written: - 50 : Next time don't let people die, + 20 : killing a boss. Well true I did let them die but it's not like I could do anything at all, because it goes from 100 to -100 it was still okay but annoying.

- Hunter from the team before : "It seems that the hunt from before is finished, should we go ?"

It seems that I will get into some trouble soon, I took one of the bags of the hunter from before and put [storage] on it. I took the weapon and the corpse, it look like I could only put 2 or 3 more times what I could put on before but it was good. I took another bag and did the same, with all that I had everything I needed but it was so heavy so I had to put [weighless] on it which made it so much better.

- An hunter from the team before : "Seem like we got beaten by a new hunter, is that you that hunted the boss ?'

- Me : "Yeah it was me"

- the same guy : "Do you want to come with us to the city, we will show you how to sell everything, don't be mad but you look new in hunting so we can help you"

- Me : "No thanks, I can do that myself"

I didn't want to talk to them more, I just walked away, get to where I put the stuff I took before, put it on a bag, and also took the goblin corpse before getting out of the forest. I passed by the door as before but saw that the night was slowly coming so I decided to run quicker than before.

When I got to the same village as before I sell the dagger and weapons to the blacksmith and he told me that he would take the goblins for the bones and even the boss for his very hard bones too.

With all that, I didn't even have to sell the stuff I robbed from the hunter team that died, I got 5 gold pieces and 20 silver with some bronze (little note : 100 bronze = 1 silver, 100 silver = gold...) in total. Now it's time to get some rest before thinking about what to do next.
