Fight against a berserk spider and after that another boss

So it's time to get a little serious about the fight, a lot of little annoying monsters, spiderwebs, and more. And now even worst, the boss entered the berserk stage which is very annoying and made more and more spawn. It was making me want to stop right here and go back, but we couldn't, the door got closed behind us and spiderwebs were blocking the opening.

- Me : "We really have to fight it seems, I will boost you all, we should do our maximum to survive"

- Mike : "My shield isn't very useful here, I will fight too"

- Lanos : "It's been quite a long since the last time I was in a so bad situation"

We were clearly not in formation for this type of fight but it was no use anyway because the swarm of spiders and everything else was not coordinated at all and the attacks were hard to block. The only other option we had was to move continuously so that the spiders could not shoot us directly. While doing that we tried to attack and kill some of them too, far less than what the boss could spawn but it was still nice to do.

Clearing out a way was not the end to that, to get to see the end of them all, we had to get rid of the boss, so that's why Lanos and Aryna were clearing out the little monster while Mike was attacking the boss. With my whip, I could make the monster go farther from them and also avoid any risk of web-shooters firing on them. Jeremia is not that good of a fighter, at least not as good as Mike but he was still useful to deal more damage to the boss.

Me : "Guys I will cover you from the web shooters so just get rid of the boss"

Because of my upgrade in power recently, my whip was really damn powerful. The webs could not glue it up, the speed of this thing even though I didn't put any [speed] on it. The boss could have been less annoying because the monster was not appearing or spawning close to it but very randomly in the room.

The probability of being a certain type of monster was really random too, it would have been a lot better if it was somewhat organized or logical. What could be worse would be the fact that this boss is not a fighter type, fighter types are so damn powerful when in berserk mode. I remember fighting a fighter type without even being berserk and Mike had a really hard time to defend.

Mike : "It has so much skin and everything"

Jeremia : "We need a little more time to pierce through its hurt"

They were attacking from behind, in its back, the giant spider wasn't even reacting at all. But as its health was going down slowly but surely, the number of monsters was also increasing and they got more aggressive too. Time was clearly not with us but thanks to everyone's teamwork we defeated the boss before the monsters were too much to handle, cleaning the rest of them, was compared to that, a piece of cake.

- Me : "Pfff, we were not far from being eliminated"

- Mike : "It has been a long time since the last time I did melee"

- Jeremia : "Stop complaining, just imagine me, having to fight a boss"

- Aryna : "And all those monsters, really not a pie..."

Aryna stopped talking because we heard strange noises from behind the boss door, those noises were coming from the door leading to the 3rd floor and were getting closer to us.

- ??? : "AHAHAH, you defeated the little spider, now it's my turn"

What, is someone talking about, a boss ? a monster ? I don't really know, but that thing is hitting the door more and more. I got up, touched them all, and because I had time to upgrade my power, I upgraded every piece of their armor as I did before but this time with the highest level possible. I wanted to hide things from them in case Mike tried to kill me again, but now was not the time to think about that. The thing behind the door quickly destroyed it, and we could see, behind the smoke, a big black knight.

- Black knight : "Are you finished from hiding ?"

- Mike : "We weren't hiding, just tired from fighting every day, but some rusty armor like you can't understand"

- Black knight : "Don't worry, you won't be tired when I finish you off"

- Mike : "So cocky, for a little thing that is hiding in a dungeon like you"

Mike was really making the knight, who I suppose to be the 3rd-floor boss, even more annoyed, he was also in berserk mode too, which could explain why he can talk.

The black knight took out his sword and was coming toward us, he tried to attack Mike but my whip made him back out a little. He after that was attacked by Lanos and Aryna but his armor was so thick and resistant that they couldn't even scratch him.

- Black knight : "Team fighting I see, interesting, you all are really making a good combination, but I'll still end you all"

He wasn't wrong, thanks to me I could make him back up from attacking Mike or Jeremia, if he tried to attack me Mike would use his shield to make him attack somewhere else. Adding to that the fact that Lanos and Aryna were so quick with the [speed] level max I gave them, trained as assassins and mercenaries, they were the best of the best in terms of attack for that type of boss. And Jeremia was in fact the one that was dealing the most damage, only his light-based attack were having an effect on him.

- Black knight : "Hum, this whip is annoying, even with my armor it deals a lot of damage, and I don't even talk about that light magic"

- Mike : "Yeah rusty boy, seems like you got too fired up"

- Black knight : "Don't think you won when it's not even done, I just have to get rid of you all, that's it"

This boss was really smart, he changed his strategy almost immediately when he saw a problem, and his change of strategy was not good news for me. He decided to focus on me and even though I defended with my whip he just continued to advance, when he was at my level, because of my whip, Mike couldn't protect me, so I had to evade it. But he was at that time, that something unexpected happened, something that will change things out.
