INIIDF-Chapter 163 Snake Hole

**Chapter Serial・Big News 16・Fuf Fuf Fuffuf Fuf**

North Blue, on a certain island. Trebol, a Donquixote family officer, wrapped in a thick mucus-like coat, extended a line of sticky liquid like Spider-Man, catching an old newspaper fluttering by. It turned out to be the same news he had already seen. Nearby, flanked by Pica and Diamante, was the young Donquixote lord. Dressed in a pink flamingo feather coat, with sharp golden short hair and wicked sunglasses, he stood tall, wearing a sleek black suit. At three meters high, he looked down at a black-haired girl crying helplessly in the forest.

After Hancock had the **Shiro Shiro no Mi (Castle-Castle Fruit)** chip implanted by B.I.B., a thin "field" of the fruit's power covered her body. As Liam and Robin approached the boundary of this field, their bodies immediately shrank, and they floated effortlessly through the open portal in Hancock's collarbone.

Once inside, they were greeted with a completely different scene. It was neither the grotesque cavern-like design of the creature known as the Den Den Mushi, nor the scholarly Tree of Knowledge theme of Robin's library-like castle, nor even the layered room structure of B.I.B.'s castle.

Hancock's **inner castle** was styled like a snake-filled palace. It had the grandeur befitting an empress of the Kuja tribe, with obvious serpent totems and intricate carvings throughout.

The most notable feature was the design of the doors and windows, which were all irregular shapes, giving a raw, primitive beauty to the place. From the ceiling hung lifelike snakes, their bright red tongues serving as light sources, illuminating the massive throne in the center. The armrests of the throne were shaped like snake sculptures.

Both Liam and Robin had the same thought upon seeing this sight: Hancock was truly self-absorbed. It was clear from her beliefs that she was destined to become the next Kuja Empress, and even they couldn't argue otherwise.

Hancock was kidnapped and yet she still managed to return and rise as Empress— if that wasn't fate, what was?

As Liam pondered this, he heard a laugh coming from the throne. "Heh heh heh... I finally understand what that place truly is."

A white liquid substance rose from the throne, forming Hancock's internal castle avatar. She was casually seated, crossing her legs, which were proportioned nicely, though slightly short.

"So, this is the Devil Fruit power described in that book? How incredible... I feel like I am the palace itself," Hancock said.

Hancock wasn't too knowledgeable about Devil Fruits, so she didn't find it particularly strange that the snail's power had somehow been transferred to her by Liam and Robin.

Liam interrupted her musings. "You can marvel later! Did you come up with a good excuse for how we'll sneak into Snake Princess's library?"

"Why would I need an excuse?" Hancock scoffed, casually sitting on her throne, her eyes flicking towards him mischievously.

**Shuā Shuā Shuā!**

Suddenly, white liquid surged from the floor around Liam, forming giant white snakes that coiled toward him in an attack. Robin was surprised but not overly worried about Liam.

The lifelike snakes opened their mouths and lunged at Liam from all directions. The pressure of their movements caused a wind, creating a vortex that made Liam sway like a willow tree in a breeze.

He easily slipped through the gaps between the snakes, his body twisting and dodging in an almost snake-like fashion. Behind him, the white snakes became tangled up in knots from their own movements.

"Impressive. Looks like Hancock-sensei wants to give me extra lessons today. Thanks so much!" Liam smirked at Hancock.

Hancock quickly stood up, "Wait..."

Before she could finish, Liam lunged forward like an arrow, his body twisting midair and his legs kicking the air, causing two loud "pop" sounds as they sliced through the wind.

"Fine, if you want to fight, let's fight!" Hancock gritted her teeth, unwilling to back down.

...

Outside, a small Hancock in her castle form sped along the base of Kuja City's wall. The Kuja royal palace was built high on the mountain opposite the city gates, and Hancock's legs had transformed into tank treads, allowing her to traverse the rough terrain with ease.

Inside her, after the fight with Liam, Hancock had turned into a puddle of white mush— literally. The internal form she had created wasn't a true body of flesh and blood, so instead of healing her injuries, she found it easier to revert to her liquid state and reform.

Robin, surprised, asked, "Are you planning to sneak into the palace?"

Hancock huffed, "Of course! I don't want to ask her for help."

Hancock's irritation flared as she recalled her many failed requests to Snake Princess to allow her to travel to the open seas. Robin could sympathize. After all, she had experienced something similar when she was eight years old, desperately earning her PhD in history to join the research of her professors, only to face rejection.

Liam, on the other hand, found the situation amusing. "She probably thinks you're too naïve and doesn't want you to be kidnapped."

"That's impossible!" Hancock retorted, her face flushing red with anger.

"Remember *The Room*," Liam reminded her.

"That was just a story about men! Who would fall for that?" Hancock snapped, pointing accusingly at Liam.

Robin calmly added, "Having seen the tricks Giorno has used, she probably won't be as easily fooled as the Hancock in the book."

Hancock paused, uncertain whether Robin was praising or mocking her...

...

At the mountain wall, Hancock retracted her tank treads and leaped onto a rock outcropping. When she slipped and was about to fall, a soft hand grabbed her.

Surprised, Hancock looked up and saw that the hand belonged to none other than the miniature version of Jolyne, who stood inside the small castle portal on her collarbone, arms crossed. It was obvious that Jolyne had used her power to help.
