Taking matters into your own hands

Viktor appeared in the air above Wakanda, looking down at the battlefield.

He floated down where Thanos was.

He knew the area very well.

He touched the dirt and purple blood, rubbing it in between his fingers.

Steve said in shock "Doctor?" Viktor crouched on the ground and said softly "What's your use?" Steve was startled and asked "What?" Viktor turned to him and the heroes left, saying without an expression "I enhanced you and the rest of your friends to prevent this and you still failed. So tell me, what is your use? You can't even stop a single Thanos, why do you exist?"

Steve said with a frown "Vik. This can't be blamed on anyone, we tried our best." Thor glared at Viktor shouting "You could've done something! Why didn't you!?" Viktor fell silent and replied "Indeed. Everything is my fault… I shouldn't have given you all a chance… All these things I've given you was wasted. Your pathetic mind can't comprehend how to do something right. Instead of killing Thanos, you taunted him…"

He turned back to the blood on the ground and rubbed it in between his fingers silently.

Thor grabbed his shoulder and said angrily "You-" Viktor snapped his head to the side and eyed him, Thor instantly felt the extreme threat of death and Viktor smashed his fist backwards, sending Thor flying through the air and shattering a mountain in the distance.

Viktor stood up and said "Don't… Touch me… You waste."

Steve said "Vik…" Viktor raised his hand and said "Don't. I really don't want to hear your so-called comfort, right now. I lost my daughter, do you understand? All I can see is gray right now. Bring me all the wounded heroes…"

Steve said "Just the heroes?" Viktor said emotionlessly "The normal people… If they survive, lucky them. It's not my problem anymore."

He treated Steve, Natasha, Okoye, Rocket, Rhodes, Thor, and Banner, getting 7 draws.

Viktor didn't say a word during the process.

Okoye asked, "Can you treat the rest?" Viktor asked, "Is Shuri alive?" Okoye shook her head and Viktor replied "Then no. They can fend for themselves. You treat them. I frankly don't care about normal people."

He finished patching up Rocket and said "Find Thanos. That's your only worth." he scanned them and added "A bunch of trash." before pushing the air and disappearing into a door.

Steve looked at the ground and sighed.

Rocket asked "What's HIS problem? Is he very strong?" Natasha pursed her lips and said "I don't know." Thor rubbed his chest and replied "He smashed me into that mountain over there."

Rocket looked over and asked "What mountain?" Thor replied "Exactly."

Okoye said with anger "Then why didn't he help!?" Steve calmed everyone down, saying "Worry about finding Thanos. As for why he didn't help…" he pursed his lips, "It's not his duty to protect the world. You can't ask everyone to help you, understand? None of us were obligated to come help. You can't say that it's his fault. We lost, simple as that."

Rocket pointed at the mountain, saying "Would we have if he was here? I don't think so, right?" Steve looked at him and replied "Are you a fighter or a child? Do you expect someone to wipe your ass every time you make a mistake?"

Natasha suddenly said "Viktor never gets involved." as her and Steve's eyes dulled before returning to normal.

She sighed and added "He only wants to live in peace. If his daughter didn't get snapped then we would probably never even know…" Rocket looked at them and asked "What just happened?"

Steve said with a sigh "Our memories were unsealed. His wife can erase and manipulate memories… No wonder…"

Viktor flew around the world looking for injured heroes and villains.

He found Magneto, who was standing there blankly as people around him were snapped.

Viktor pulled him into the air and said "Erik." Erik looked at Viktor and said in shock "Viktor? You're a Mutant?!" Viktor replied expressionlessly "Something like that." Erik smiled happily "Great! How is the family?" Viktor suddenly froze and Erik was confused, asking "Are you okay?"

Before changing expressions as he said fiercely with extreme anger "Did something happen!? Who did it!?" Viktor sighed softly, saying "Erik… Half the universe turned to dust. There are only half the people left on earth. I don't even know if Charles is alive." as he pressed on Erik's chest, healing his injuries.

Erik's eyes widened and he shouted "WHAT?!" Viktor sighed and collected a ticket.

Erik said worriedly "Then what will happen?" Viktor shook his head and said "I'm here to find heroes and bad guys… Also cleanse the world on the way. Are you going to continue being a villain? I really can't handle it anymore…"

Erik frowned and said slowly "Viktor, nothing will change…" Viktor pulled him along as he flew away, saying "I will change it. Normal people are useless. It's time everything changed."

Erik followed him by himself as they flew away, "What are you going to do?" Viktor said with a flat expression "Mutants, Quirks, Superpowers, everyone will have one. I really don't care anymore. Let's go save the Mutants, I need a force."

Erik's lips twitched and he asked "Like subordinates?" Viktor replied plainly "More like world police. These dumbfucks can't even stop a single alien tyrant. Always in-fighting. They want to fight? Then it'll be to the death."

Erik rubbed his nose and smiled wryly, following him as he asked about his family only to find out that Emma was currently pregnant and their previous child turned to dust.

Erik instantly understood why he was so cold… To be honest with himself, Erik hadn't been having a great time himself. He was surrounded by enemies on all sides and his family died in front of his eyes… He completely understood Viktor's coldness.

Maybe this was a good thing…

Viktor and Erik traveled around the world, freeing captured Mutants and killing whoever stopped them.

Viktor collected around 7 more tickets for 15 draws.

He brought all the Mutant Children he freed to SWORD and took the floating HQ back. It had been completely remodeled already.

Viktor grabbed the rest of the Widows and made them train the Mutants along with Erik. Viktor took control of SWORD and collected all the agents, sending them around the world to quell the chaos before going back home, leaving Erik to deal with training.

Emma was sitting on the couch in a daze, staring at the TV.

Viktor appeared in the living room and walked to his lab silently. Emma grabbed his arm, saying softly "What are you doing?" Viktor paused and replied "Fixing everything." Emma replied quietly "I need you… I really can't deal with this alone. My body can't take it and the stress increases every day. I'm worried about the baby…"

Viktor felt a chill throughout his body as he remembered the future Yao showed him. He sighed and sat down, hugging her tightly.

Emma nestled in his arms and said gently "Whatever you want to do… I will help you. Please let me stay with you…" her hands trembled and she cried "I can't do this alone… I'm scared… Real scared, Big bear…"

Viktor kissed her head, stroking her hair as he said softly "Then stay with me, little bear. We'll fix everything together." Emma nodded gently and cried in his embrace. Viktor's eyes turned red and he swallowed, rubbing her back.

He flipped his palm and said "Eat this." Emma swallowed it and felt a wonderful feeling in her womb. Viktor explained "It's a prenatal pill, meant to purify, stabilize, and improve the fetus in your womb. It'll make the baby stronger and prevent any accidents."

Emma nodded and Viktor kissed her lips, giving her the Quirk Serum.

The duo went to the lab and started working as Viktor laid out the formulas.
