159 Chapter 159: Being human

Several days had passed since then, where they had not heard from Gohan, and not even in their own house did they know anything.

"Well it's Gohan, I'm sure he'll be training" Goku commented, scratching the back of his neck, smiling.

Chi-Chi was with her hand resting on her cheek, a little worried, and Raditz was serious.

"Where are you going?" Launch asked him.

"To bring my nephew back" Raditz left the house and took flight, he already knew where to look.

18 was in hrr bed, these days dhe didn't go to work since she didn't feel fit.

She didn't want to dwell too much on the subject with Gohan. Yes, she cried, but she didn't want to think about it anymore and this to avoid bigger headaches.

But suddenly, someone came through her window, "What are you doing in this place, in my room?!"

"You argued with the brat, right?" Raditz asked with a serious face and 18 lay back down on her bed, facing away from him.

"It's none of your business" 18 said bitterly.

"Yes he does, Gohan hasn't shown any signs of life for a while" Raditz crossed his arms.

Hearing that 18 turned around quickly.

"What happened?" Raditz wanted to know.

"That he had a son with another woman" 18 looked crestfallen, "Apparently, he already has a family"

Raditz seemed surprised.

"You guys started dating three months ago, so that had to happen some time before, or were you already dating before Buu arrived?"

"...No, we didn't have anything" 18 responded.

"And why are you angry?" Raditz asked.

"Why am I mad? Because he didn't tell me before! He DIDN'T tell me that he had ALREADY started a family with a woman who isn't even me!"

18 screamed full of rage and anger in her.

Raditz massaged his temples, "Ah... look."

"I'll tell you something, although you already know it"

"Go save my nephew from the darkness"

Raditz looked at 18 as if he were imploring him. The look of someone worried.

Gohan was looking at the sky, receiving the rain without caring. He had been there for three days.

18 wanted to say something to him, but what could say to Gohan?

The last time they saw each other, she slapped him, telling him that he would never speak to her again.

But she didn't have to worry anymore.

"I felt very alone there, I was barely fifteen years old and I was far from all human contact"

"I only had her, and I couldn't come back here until I finished my training."

"I had a child, but I was never there for him, I didn't know how to be a father, I never wanted to be one"

In his pre-reincarnation other life he was an orphan, and although in this one his father was Goku, since he was four he lived practically alone.

But what hurt Gohan the most was not having been with his son more when he could. He, who was an orphan, knew better than anyone how much it hurt.

But 18 took him by the hand.

"Gohan... do you love me?" she asked.

"I love you Lazuli" Gohan looked at her.

"But it hurts me that your first child is with another woman and not me, it was a tremendous shock to know that"

"Gohan, I want to start a family with you"

"But I want to know if you are really willing, if you are in this with me and only me. Be honest this time Gohan"

"I don't feel anything for Cheelai, I know that I have hurt her a lot by not reciprocating her feelings, but I only love you"

18 took his other hand, looking at him.

"You are happy with me?" Gohan asked.

"Yes and you?" 18 returned the question.

"Shit, I don't mean to sound so cheesy..."

"... but you have made me remember that I am also human, of course I am happy" Gohan declared.

"Y-yes that sounded cheesy" 18 laughed although her eyes were teary, perhaps because of great happiness.

18 rushed towards him and gave him a kiss and then hugged him tightly, "I love you so much Gohan."

"And I Lazuli... forgive me, I have been a fool"
