Those present contemplated the silver glow in the firmament, and at that moment they stopped feeling Cell's and Gohan's Ki.

Goku fell to his knees looking down and Raditz approached him crouching at his level.

"You know this was his decision, we can still resurrect him with the dragon balls" Raditz declared with a slight smile.

Goku looked at his brother, and accepted the hand that was extended to him. Piccolo placed a hand on his shoulder, outlining a faint smile.

"We have to go to Kami's palace to revive him. From what I see, Krillin and the big bald guy also died, right?" declared the namekian.

"That's right, I'll update you on what happened" Goku replied smiling and looked at his friends, "Are you coming to Kami's palace too?"

"Of course!" Yamcha exclaimed smiling.

Tien agreed, as he wanted to see Krillin and Gohan resurrected. Also, he needed to recover from the damage that Cell junior caused him.

"What will you do from now on?" Goku looked at the androids with a smile, "Will you continue with the mission to assassinate me? I'm delighted!"

"Nah that's getting boring, I'm curious to know how you'll revive the brat, so I'll go with you" 17 he pointed out with his arms crossed.

Android 17 turned to his sister 18, who had her fists clenched, "I don't know why you care so much about the boy if he will resurrect"

"Tsk, I-I'm not worried" She shook her head. She remembered the talk she had with Gohan about why the Saiyan didn't live his ife.

He had just sacrificed himself for save his world despite being a ten-year-old boy, deep down a bit of admiration for Gohan was born inside of him.

And incredibly Vegeta felt something similar, a mere brat had given his life for his family.

'I will never understand those human feelings, but without a doubt he deserves my respect' Vegeta rose to the sky and walked away, he had to continue training.

"We also have to leave, I want to bring Gohan and Krillin back" Goku pointed smiling happily and also began to fly.

The other warriors immediately followed suit and got lost in the blue sky, flying towards Kami-sama's palace.

The reporter blinked several times, before turning to the camera with a very serious face, "Ladies and gentlemen, Cell has already been defeated."

"But before you celebrate let me tell you that this would not have been possible without that blond boy who gave his life to defeat the beast"

"The bravest and strongest boy my eyes have ever seen, he gave us the greatest battle we have ever seen, as unreal as it is"

"We may not know his name, age or where he lives, but never forget him. The hero who saved humanity from Cell" Jimmy finished.

"It's the best report ever" the cameraman said lowering the camera, he was proud to have filmed the whole fight.

"Where are you Cell?!" a voice caught their attention and when they turned around they saw Mr. Satan, who was just getting up from the attack he received.

The people behind the cameras started to applaud, none of them would be able to forget what they had seen throughout today.

"M-my Gohan is dead?" Chi-Chi put her hand on her chest, feeling a huge emptiness and unable to bear the pain, the woman fainted.

"Poor Gohan..." Bulma muttered downcast.

"Ugh, thank Kami we have the dragon balls to bring him back, and Krillin as well hehe" Oolong chimed in with a big smile.

"Yes, but Chi-Chi fainted from shock" Ox-Satan laid the body of his only daughter on the mat, "Goku will bring Gohan back as soon as possible"

"Without a doubt he is the son of Goku, that boy has a promising future ahead of him" Master Roshi commented after having seen the battle against Cell.

And talking of Goku, the warriors had arrived at Kami's lookout and both Dende and Mister Popo were waiting for them there.

"Friends! It's good that it's finally over" Dende approached them with a smile, "And yes, we have to revive people"

"Well, in that case I'll go for Bulma's dragon radar as soon as possible to gather the dragon balls" Goku snapped but Dende stopped him.

"Mr Popo has already gathered all the dragon balls" the assistant spoke smiling and Goku's eyes shone, "So we wouldn't waste any more time"

"You are a genius Mr. Popo!" Goku exclaimed.

Mister Popo smiled before bringing the seven spheres and leaving them on the ground. Dende stepped forward and summoned Shenron like always.

The androids were quite astonished by the size of the dragon and how imposing it looked.

"Hi Shenron! The first wish will be for you to resurrect all of Cell's victims" Dende exclaimed looking at him, "Is that a viable wish?"

"Of course, it's something easy to do" Shenron's eyes shone and immediately those killed and absorbed by the monster came back to life.

"I'll be right back!" Goku exclaimed using teleportation and just over a minute later he returned along with Krillin and Nappa.

"B-but what the hell happened?" Nappa looked around in confusion and recognized the place, "Wait a second! Where's that damn Cell?"

"You don't have to be alarmed big guy Cell was killed by my nephew" Raditz intervened crossing his arms. Nappa was surprised.

"I-is that true?" Krillin asked, since he was just finding out what happened.

"That's right, I'm very happy to see you later I'll tell you everything" Goku declared smiling and looked at Dende, it was time to make the second wish.

"The second wish will be for you to resurrect Gohan, can you grant that wish?" Dende asked looking at the dragon god, full of hope.

"I'm sorry, I'm afraid that's impossible" Shenron replied leaving everyone present chilled by those brutal words.

"W-why?" Goku wanted to know the reason.

"It is impossible to resurrect someone who is alive"

"WHAT?!" they yelled, staying stunned.

The only thing that was visible was a white ceiling, he felt unable to stand up but for some particular reason he didn't feel that he was dead.

'I've already been dead once, and this has nothing to do with it' he thought, imagining the possibility of being in a parallel universe, 'H-how it hurts'

The last thing he remembered was using the spirit destruction technique to kill Cell, but in theory he should be dead.

He was on a bed, and his entire torso was bandaged with his destroyed pants, the signs of war were still present on his body.

He stood up and quickly leaned against the wall so as not to fall, he walked slowly until he left the room and came to a corridor, "What's up?"

He saw that the people at the end of the corridor froze at the sight of him, and started pointing guns at him, "Arrest the prisoner! Now, now, now!"

They all went after him immediately, with the pain he had in his body he couldn't use his energy, much less fight, but he did have his tricks.

Gohan turned as best he could, and with a flick of his tail he generated a blizzard that sent everyone who attacked him to the ground.

He leaned against the wall and walked down the corridor and when he opened the door he ran into a being with bluish skin and a suit pointing his gun at him.

"I'm Merus Ikanoichiyabossi a member of the galactic patrol, and you are under arrest for the illegal appropriation and destruction of planets"

"You're in no position to resist, Gohan" Merus looked at him defiantly as the Saiyan still didn't snap out of his immense shock.
