54 C54 Breaking Point

After a short explanation to Lady Prince, she dropped her wand and surrendered fairly easily.

Tom places Lady Rosier in charge of getting her to swear the oath. They are friends so Tom would give her a chance before resorting to torturous methods. The two women whispered to each other a few times and Elena Prince agreed to swear the oath fairly quickly. Whatever Lady Rosier said to her must have scared her into action. Probably something about the unimaginable pain she went through.

After she swore her oath, Tom opened a portal to where he sent Lord Chester Prince in the mirror dimension. When they arrived the man was in the middle of constantly trying to use apparition to escape.

By the time he noticed their arrival, the portal already closed behind them cutting off his only way of escape. He didn't even get a chance to try and make a run for it.

Tom then went on to explain everything to Lord Prince as he did to the man's wife. He also explained how his wife already swore her oath. He was definitely reluctant but none the less agreed to swear his oath as well. The threat of the Cruciatus curse seemed to scare the wits out of him.

'This guy must have either witnessed the Cruciatus curse being used on someone else or he was victim to it. He agreed far too easily after hearing I would use it on him. Why can't Lord Rosier be this compliant?' Tom thought as they left the mirror dimension after Lord Prince swore his oath of loyalty.

Tom already visited Lord Rosier today so he's going to let him stew until tomorrow.

Now that Tom has the Rosier and Prince family's under control, he needs them to call a meeting with the Slytherin alumni and feed them some bogus information. This way he would have more time to prepare for his eventual takeover. He has the Slytherin students under control, so next is the Slytherin alumni. Though he would need time to grow stronger and prepare for the moment he's ready to strike.

What could ruin his plan is the non-compliance of Lord Rosier. Him coming to this meeting would help a lot, but the man is too stubborn for his own good. Tom would have to start getting a bit more serious with the man tomorrow.

The Princes were sent home and told to come again tomorrow after breakfast. He would have them stay in a guest room, but that could cause some suspicion if anyone were to find out.

The next day, Tom awoke in the guest room of Rosier manor. He didn't plan on spending much more time here. He still had half the summer left to study at Kamar-Taj after all.

After freshening up a bit, he went straight to the mirror dimension. Tom didn't bring anyone with him this time as this visit may be a bit messier than the others.

As he strolls on in, Tom could see Lord Rosier sleeping on the floor. Tom didn't trust him after that first time he was taken by surprise so he didn't approach.

"Flipendo!" Tom pulled out his wand and called out a spell.

It hits Lord Rosier and he gets pushed back and skids along the ground like a skipping rock.

"AHHH!" He yelled as he banged into the floor a few times.

"I'm really sorry about this but I need you to start complying. Things are about to get very painful if you don't agree to swear that oath of loyalty." Tom says and Lord Rosier answers with a wandless spell.

"Confringo!" Royce Rosier calls, but the blasting curse was easily countered.

"Protego." Tom blocks the spell with ease and looks at the man before him with pity in his eyes. "It seems we'll have to go with the painful route. I was hoping I wouldn't have to do this. Druella is my friend and I would rather not be responsible for crippling her father with the Cruciatus curse. I guess some things just have to be done. Crucio!"

The red lightning flies from Tom's wand and the torture begins. Druellas father screamed in agony on the floor as the power of the killing curse courses through every part of his body.

The pain was unimaginable and Tom didn't let up for a whole minute. Once he would stop, Tom would ask the man to swear his oath. Every time he asked Lord Rosier would deny and Tom would start the torture all over again. After half an hour of repeated torture, Lord Rosier finally swore the oath.

'I guess that everyone has a breaking point.' Tom thought as Druellas father passed out after swearing his oath.

Tom then opened a portal to the Rosier manor and levitated Lord Royce through. When they arrived in the living room of Rosier manor, Tom placed him on the sofa and called for Francesca.

"Francesca!" He calls and she comes walking in a moment later.

"Yes, My Lor..." She says but stops as she sees her husband in a sorry state on the sofa.

She rushes to his side and starts throwing out diagnostic charms. With every spell cast, she grows more pale by the second. Her husband has some very bad nerve damage. If they didn't have magical remedies for these types of things, Lord Royce would end up paralyzed from this much damage.

"It took a bit to break him but in the end, he swore the same oath as you. I sincerely apologize for the state he's currently in." Tom says genuinely as he really didn't want to do this to his friend's father. "You're a trained mediwitch so nurse him back to tip-top shape, would you? He's needed for the meeting with the Slytherin Alumni. If you need any potions, contact the Princes before they arrive. I'm sure they can provide anything you may need."

"Yes, My Lord. I'll get to work immediately." She says as she starts casting spell after spell on her husband.

While she gets to work, Tom walks out of the room and is met with Druella, who was snooping at the door. Tom feels a bit awkward as he just got done torturing her father not a moment earlier and she knew it.

"I forgive you." Druella says as she could tell how Tom was feeling. "The man is a prat that was going to dose me with a truth potion. He deserved what he got and it's not like he'll be permanently crippled. Mom will have him up and running in no time. Especially with the Prince's potions backing her healing."

"I am sorry though." Tom says wholeheartedly.

"I know."

Around noon, the Princes arrived with a few potions to help Lord Rosier with his recovery. Francesca said that Royce would be healed enough to attend the meeting In three days.

Tom had them call the meeting five days later just to be sure. The Prince family was placed in charge of informing everyone of the meeting while Francesca focused herself on healing her husband.
