Chapter 73: Raditz vs Kress!

After dealing with Turles and his eldest offspring long ago, Raditz has learned his lesson. He immediately powered up into a Super Saiyan without hesitation. His eyes narrowed with the utmost concentration as he struck down with a knife hand strike, fully prepared to crush the young Saiyan's throat. While he may have accepted Turles's offer to return to life and join the Planet Trade Organization again, that didn't mean he forgot the humiliation he suffered by him and his son. To Raditz, Turles was nothing more than an aberration of a Saiyan. His son and other offspring were further proof of his accursed lineage.

Halflings weren't normalized within Saiyan culture for a reason. As bloodthirsty and power-driven as the Saiyans were, they knew that the potential held by half-breeds was far greater than a purebred Saiyan. They were too dangerous to be kept alive or controlled! This didn't even include if Frieza found out about the potential of halflings. Perhaps the destruction of their planet would have come far sooner if he did.

Ridding the universe of Turles and his ilk would bring back some normalcy to things. Raditz madly grinned as his hand neared the young child's neck. He would certainly take pleasure in the rightful act. Even giving half of what he suffered under Turles and his eldest would be fine with him.

As Raditz's hand neared Kress's throat, he couldn't help but laugh. Kress's eyes narrowed as he ducked low underneath Raditz's attack. While holding himself up off the air with just his hands, he pushed off the air, burying his feet in Raditz's gut. As Raditz realized that his attack failed and he was the one hurt instead, Kress followed up while Raditz was holding his gut in pain. He swung his feet around as he spun on his hands in the air like it was solid ground before kicking Raditz in the face multiple times over with several spinning kicks. Until he imprinted his boots into the older Saiyan's face, knocking him in the distance.

"Heck, yes! I'm gonna win first!" Kress shouted as his body was suddenly cloaked in a fierce red aura. This was Kaio-ken, a technique of the gods! "Calamity Gun!" Kress fired a thin white beam of energy from his finger, mimicking an actual gun with his hands.

"Not on my watch!" Raditz's hand glowed with pink energy as he sent forward an energy blast of his own.

Just barely, it was enough to deflect the angle of the attack. Sparing Raditz from having to defend himself personally with his body and energy. Raditz's countenance contorted, his facial muscles tensing like taut springs under the pressure of mounting frustration and seething anger. His brows furrowed into a formidable V, casting shadows over eyes ablaze with a tempest of fury. The lines etched on his forehead deepened, each one a testament to the boiling intensity within. The corners of his lips, once neutral, now curled into a snarl, revealing gritted teeth as if attempting to restrain the storm of emotions raging beneath the surface. His jaw clenched, muscles flexing, as if every fiber of his being was drawn tight, ready to snap.

"A bloodline of despicable freaks! You all deserve to perish!" Raditz's energy exploded as the planet itself began to shake.

His once-defined eyebrows fade into oblivion, replaced by an expanded and pronounced brow. The transformation extends beyond the mere physical, with a vivid flash, green irises, and visible pupils manifest in his eyes, imbued with an otherworldly hatred. Yet, it is his hair that becomes the centerpiece of this radical transformation. Unleashing a cascade of golden strands, it defied the limits of conventional length, growing exponentially until it surpassed even the length of his entire body. The golden mane, now a majestic torrent, billowed around him like a radiant aura, proof of the overwhelming power coursing through his transformed state. Raditz stands as a majestic, wrathful figure, a manifestation of Super Saiyan 3's awe-inspiring might.

"Whoa… Which super form is that?! That's like a Super Duper Ultra Mega Saiyan! I want super crazy hair, too!" Kress balled his little fists with an excited grin on his face as he began charging his energy.

His white hair flashed golden yellow before eventually settling into the Super Saiyan Grade 4. A child not even nine years of age has already mastered the legendary Super Saiyan form. Kress happily bounced around, fighting the air, getting used to his new surge of power. "Hey, old guy, can you teach me how to make my hair grow longer, too?" Kress pointed to his hair, which was not lengthening no matter how much he controlled his energy. Seeing this only enraged Raditz further. That abnormal lineage must end no matter what!

The Super Saiyan form was a mere legend not too long ago! Millions of Saiyans have fought for centuries without ever achieving the form. But all of a sudden, even children can master the form of myths and legends?! Raditz refused to believe that the Saiyans were too stupid or unlucky to reach the form. Turles and his blood were simply freaks.

Raditz vanished and reappeared in front of Kress. Kress's eyes widened in shock as Raditz's knee sunk into his torso. Salvia was forced from his mouth as he clutched his stomach. The long-haired Saiyan brought his hands together and slammed them down on the back of the half-breed. Kress went soaring down toward the ground. Only for Raditz to appear down there before him with his back turned and arms crossed. Just when Kress got within range, Raditz brought his elbow back and slammed it into the boy's chest once again.

Kress fell to the ground with his face wet with spit. His body twitched as he looked up at the long-haired man. He was grinning at him. For the first time in his life, Kress felt fear. An emotion that even he didn't recognize for what it was. He was confused.

He didn't understand why his body wasn't moving the way he wanted it to. Right now, he should be getting up and kicking this guy's stupid face in. But here he was, lying down like a loser for some reason. He inwardly screamed and yelled at his body to move, to do anything at all. However, it only responded by shaking in terror.

"Don't worry. Your father will join you in Hell soon." Raditz planted his boot on Kress's chest as he raised his hand, glowing with energy. "Lord Frieza has reached a level of power that no one can contest."

Under Turles's upbringing, Kress has never been scared of anything in his life. Why would he? He was the baby boy of the strongest man in the universe. He ate well, played well, learned well, lived well, and could do almost anything he wanted! At what point would he ever experience fear of anything? His father, mother, and siblings were too strong for the emotion of fear to ever develop in his brain. If there were anything ever to be afraid of, Kress would happily cry to his family. Who would immediately solve it for him if not help him solve it for himself.

Just as Raditz fired a Saturday Crush, intending to vaporize the young halfling, Kress managed to teleport just in time as a massive explosion swallowed Raditz and the area he was once in. When Raditz turned to look at him after sensing his power, he was confused at what he saw. The half-breed was smashing his head against the ground repeatedly.

"Work! Work! Work!" Kress screamed with each blow.

"Have you gone insane due to my overwhelming power? Hehehe, I wouldn't be surprised if you had. Taking your own life would be a better alternative to what I had planned for you initially." Raditz waltzed over to Kress and kicked him across the head, sending him flying away.

When he made his way over to the child, he was baffled to see him laughing now. "I suppose the fear of death would drive one mad. But lunacy won't save you from me." Raditz raised his hand, zapping with pink electricity, prepared to strike down this abomination.

Without a moment's hesitation, Raditz unleashed a blast of energy, aiming for Kress with deadly precision. Yet, as fate would have it, Kress narrowly dodged the impending doom, evading the energy blast by a hair's breadth. The explosive force tore into the earth beneath him, propelling him upward, and with a swift motion, he thrust his head straight into Raditz's gut. In response, a discontented click echoed from Raditz's tongue as annoyance etched across his features. Swift retaliation was his instinct, intending to bring his elbow down with crushing force upon Kress's head, envisioning it like the smashing of a watermelon. However, Kress, in a surprising turn of resilience, countered by forcefully ramming his head into Raditz's vulnerable groin before he could bring down his elbow.

Raditz, now holding his injured anatomy in agonized distress, made a few steps back angrily. Kress giggled as he looked down at his hand. His body was no longer shaking! Blood dripped down from his head, plastering his face bloody, but a joyful smile was present on his face. "I don't know what weird trick you pulled, but it won't work again, grandpa!" Kress angrily shook his fist at Raditz.

"Do you think this is some sort of game?!" Raditz yelled. "I'm going to kill you. You are going to die. Never wake up again! Never see your father, siblings, or mother again!" Raditz made himself as clear as possible.

"Hahaha, that's impossible. My dad would just bring me back from the afterlife." Kress responded. He and Stella finally learned the Instant Transmission technique not too long ago.

"..." Raditz was momentarily speechless. "Just know, I'm going to enjoy this far more than I was going to initially." Raditz didn't understand how Turles and his children were so good at riling him up.

"Come on! Kaio-ken x8!" Kress disappeared with a red blur.
