Ritual!

Almost an hour later.

On the edge of a forest, there was a peaceful scene; a black-haired girl was covered in dirt.

*coff*

The girl covered in dirt opened her eyes and coughed out a pile of dirt.

'I died again?' Looking around, she saw messy dirt and dried blood stains.

Not seeing any bears around, she heaved a sigh of relief. While she couldn't die, it was still painful.

Getting up, she looked for the mountains she was headed towards. 

She wanted to see what the only change in scenery she had seen since she had arrived was like.

While she decided to walk, she kept a stone in her hand, ready to escape at any time.

Walking to the mountains, she felt that the environment in this place was odd. Instead of the forest gradually turning into the mountains, it was directly cut off—truly an odd sight.

Continuing towards the mountains, she noticed that the mountain range was larger than she thought. Whether left or right, the entire horizon was full of mountains!

Looking closer at one of the mountains, there was a dark spot; however, before she explored that, she decided to climb one to get a better view. 

Before climbing the mountain, she left a stone in case she fell and needed to teleport back.

Climbing the mountain on the right, she found that the stones were extremely hard, much harder than the ones in the forest. Naturally, she swapped out the stones she picked up from the forest for them. However, she did keep one from the forest as a memory.

Realizing that the mountain was too big to climb, she used her traveling trick. That being the 'Stone Teleportation' or at least that's what she called it. 

*BANG*

She appeared about a mile up the mountain. However, the mountain looked about 25 miles high, about 50 times taller than the trees in the forest.

So she had to go back to stone-throwing.

A couple of minutes later, she reached the top of the mountain. The top of the mountain was quite bland, like most mountains, not something you would expect in such a place.

Looking around, she saw that the nearest bird pack was exceptionally far away, and it didn't seem to want to get any closer.

While she found that quite odd, the girl kept looking around. That is until she saw the 'dark spot' that she saw earlier. It turns out the 'dark spot' was actually a ruin! 

Looking closer, there seemed to be living things there, quite odd as there weren't many living beings around this area.
