Hunter x Hunter World - Reviewers Rage

A loser famous for his reviews was suddenly standing before a supreme being. His arrogance angered the higher being. His lifelong wishes to be special like the main characters of the stories he obsessed with were granted in return that his feeble efforts entertaining them. Sadly not in the way he wished for. He was ordered to gain strength in any of the worlds he would like, but in exchange, he would fight in a death match against a transcendental being for entertainment. After countless "runs" the supreme beings became bored. They allowed "him" to keep his memories and gave him enough authority to create his system. There wasn't any animosity between "him" and the beings that played with him since he had no memories of his countless lives. He intended to train but to enjoy mostly his life. -Scene from Chapter 1 How am I supposed to fight this guy when I already lost so often before, maybe this time it's gonna be different.... or I will just spend my days not training and living in the world. Sounds good to me. "HAHAHAHAHAHA" His deep voice shook, cracked and almost crumbled the white and seemingly endless void. "YOU TRIED IT! HERE ARE SOME MEMORIES FOR YOU!!" ------------------ The memories flooded in of the Mc's death, comrades, wives and children from countless lives dying before him and in his arms. He only gained the memories of his most torturous moments. The rage he obtain was fire that couldn't be extinguished no matter how much times passed. This is the story of a rageful Mc that had to partially seal 2/3 of his memories. The story of a loser having all the motivation he needs to become stronger. The ever upgrading system went from the most useless system with only an annoying A.I that was copied from the Mc' previous personality. That barely qualifies itsself to be called a system in the beginning with only fight simulator, but becomes the strongest system in all realms. The first system that presents 3 options to select from to grow stronger. The Hero, Villian and Legend path. The Mc could save people he doesn't care about, slaughter whole bloodlines of his enemies, or do both or nothing. This is the typical story of a useless ordinary guy becoming ...the strongest? most evil? most heroic? most rageful? No one knows, but one thing is certain. He is a delusional novel reader. --------------------------------------------------------- What to expect: Mc will enter the Hunter x Hunter World as his first world. The story will only follow canon by Mc participating the Hunter Exam, the rest will be original. I planned that after the Hunter Exam that the Mc will get his system upgrade of hero, villain and legendary path and of course his Nen ability. The first 40 chapters are slow paced because I want to establish the atmosphere of the novel. Mc personality: The Mc is ruthless when he needs to be. He is neither truly good or truly evil. He is the kind that would help an old woman cross the streets, but trick, blackmail or torture people for what he wants. He is not twisted or has a split personality. Most of the time he is indifferent and just numb to his emotions thats why often he wears a mask hiding his real self. You can suggest cool things by commenting. That goes also for everything else like villains, worlds, abilities, names and so on. ----------------------------------------- Rewards: 2 chapters a week 10 power stones -> + 1 Chapter 5 - 5 Star Reviews -> +1 Chapter Every Gift -> +2 - 10 Chapters

Riddle me this!

"That was quite a brief farewell" said Kurapika while dusting his clothes off. "So all the doors led to the same room..."

After a short fall through the different pressure plates, they found themselves in a small room with brick walls. The room was empty except for a monitor and a table with watches on it.

Gon began reading the content on the television screen "The five of you must follow the will of the majority to reach the goal!"

"The five of us?" Leorio asked. "Look... There are five stopwatches." Gon pointed at the table.

Kurapika took one of the watches. "There's an O and X button. It also displays a digital number counting backwards from 71:19:00. This was the remaining time of the 72 hours to reach the tower's base alive."

Leorio's calm face changed as if lighting hit. "Could it be that we won't be able to leave this room until another person drops in?"

"That is correct!" said a voice coming out of a speaker high on the wall. "Who's that?!" exclaimed Leorio.

"My name is Lippo. I'm the prison warden here, as well as the Third Phase examiner." The man wearing sunglasses and sitting behind dozens of screens revealed his identity.

"Prison warden?" asked Kurapika.

"Multiple routes through this tower have been prepared. You have chosen the path of majority rule. Cooperation will be key if you wish to clear this phase of the exam."

"This doesn't sound that hard" Leorio exclaimed happily. The examiner replied "One person's selfish behaviour can derail an entire group. And you can't start until you have five members. Best of luck, gentlemen!"

---------------------------------

Fang was alone in a room. He went to the monitor and read.

"You must follow the path of riddles to reach the goal!."

"Riddles? Ugh, I hate riddles" Fang picked up the stopwatch, looked around and entered a narrow hallway. He walked for a short moment and arrived at a white door.

Fang entered the room and was surprised. It was a big white room with white buttons. The buttons were big enough to fill the palm of a child, like Fang.

The buttons were hard to differentiate from the white background if you didn't look closely.

The whole room was covered in buttons from the floor, to the walls and the ceiling. It was hard to walk on the floor without stepping on one.

Fang pressed a random button on the wall. A sound came from it and it turned red. A moment later it turned white again. Fang then pressed a couple more buttons until one button became green.

10 minutes later Fang concluded. "Alright! So I need to press the buttons in the right sequence and they turn green. If I don't press the next button in 5 seconds then it resets everything." Fang looked at his stopwatch.

"I got over 71 hours left. I will solve this and become first place. I can already see Togiri's and the rest of their surprised faces. Hahahaha!"

Fang held his nose high and laughed like a villain and the examiner watching him thought so too. The examiner would have never guessed that the red-haired boy would have an immense sense of justice and goodness in him.

"I will brag about this forever. I solved a riddle and still became first place in the Third Phase." Fang said to himself. This habit of Fang seemed similar to Togiri's bad habit of talking and narrating to himself.

Fang took off his shoes and socks and put them in his backpack. He then opened the white door and left them outside.

"Okey! Let's go!" Fang started jumping around pressing random buttons until he pressed a button and it stayed white. Fang looked around and saw that he slightly grazed a button turning it red....

Somewhere else in the Trick Tower, Togiri stood before 2 doors with a monitor in-between. 'I forgot, not everyone was in a group test. I remember that many just like Hisoka came out alone.'

"So I can either choose to go left or right. Hmm..."

Togiri pressed X, choosing the right. He walked for quite a while and arrived before a labyrinth made out of black walls.

"So is it a maze that changes walls every few hours or minutes? Not very original." Togiri slowly walked inside the labyrinth and suddenly the lights went out and loud noises could be heard.

"So I can neither see nor hear? Still not very difficult." Togiri took a flashlight out of his backpack, but it didn't work like he'd liked it too.

"So the black walls aren't not only to keep me from breaking out or shifting the routes to the exit, but to absorb light? Not bad"

@Don't you also have glow sticks? You got paper, fire stones, lighter and so much more@ 'Yes and I could just break the room apart, but this is good training. Sense deprivation, real danger and so many unexcepted variables.'

Took closed his eyes and slowly walked forward concentrating on the noises he heard, his hand touching the wall and his feet putting pressure on the floor.

*CLICK* 'Pres-' *FU FU FU* Togiri heard the quiet sound of dozens crossbows being shot. Togiri put a small bubble of En around him.

An arrow entered his E bubble from behind, two from the front aimed at his stomach, 4 from above and the rest from the left.

Thanks to Togiri's detection bubble he could dodge, catch and block the arrows flying at him easily.

En was an advanced application of Ten and Ren. Ren would usually envelop only a small amount of space around the user's body.

En was when one would extend their Ren so that their aura would extend further than normal, then use Ten at the same time to contain and give shape to that aura, normally a sphere.

Someone using En could feel the shape and movement of anything within the area covered by their aura, with a degree of awareness and finesse depending on their level of skill.

Togiri trained to even notice fine details. He was weaker than Fang in many aspects regarding Nen, but Togiri's precision was better than Fang's in most categories.

Fang's and Togiri's control were comparable to a chainsaw and a steak knife. Both could cut a branch or wood, but depending on the size and durability Fang would usually win.

"Now this is getting interesting. Flying arrows already as the first trap? Now that's something worthy of my time."

While Fang was busy with his riddle room and Togiri with his labyrinth room, the rest of the group was waiting for their fifth member.

Leorio was frustrated since they fell. "It's been two hours...What if the others all took different routes? Only a fool would still be at the top of the tower!"

Kurapika tried to diffuse the angry Leorio "Calm down, Leorio. Complaining won't help."

"But...What if no one shows up before we reach our time limit? Hey!" Suddenly the sound of the pressure plate above them could be heard.

Someone was slightly pressing and testing it. *CLICK* Somebody fell through the ceiling.

"Yare yare(Good grief)" said an older man with a big belly. "Tonpa-san!" exclaimed Gon.

"Oh." Killua was visibly disappointed. Kurapika didn't say anything but looked as disappointed as Killua and Leorio did.

"It's the old man." Leorio said energyless and depressed. "Haha" Tonpa laughed nervously until he was interrupted by the sound of the brick wall shifting. A single door appeared.

The monitor lit up and Gon read the content written on it out loud. "At this door, select O to open, X not to open" read Gon out loud for everybody.

"Forcing us to use the majority rule already? The answer should be obvious..." said Leorio.

The group then voted. The result was O 4 | X 1. Leorio snapped "What?! Who pushed the X button?"

"Sorry, that was me. I pressed the wrong button by mistake." said Tonpa. Leorio gripped his collar. "How can you accidentally press the wrong button?! HUH?!"

10 power stones and 1 new chapter even if I'm the one who voted them. Had fun reading? Then please leave a comment, feedback or a review
