First fight (1)

Greem did not know what to expect about his fighting capabilities.

He knew that he was much weaker than most, if not all of the nen users from the series, but he also knew that the likes of main characters were the top 1% of nen users. Hunters were elites themselves, and the likes of chimera ants from the dark continent were on another level altogether.

Nen was much harder than depicted in the series. Awakening it was already incredibly complex, and training in it was so much more draining than physical effort. Despite that, Greem used most of his free time training. Ten, Ren, and other principles like Gyô were already mastered to some extent.

Yet, he could only last forty minutes in Ren, whereas both Gon and Killua could last for hours after a couple of months of training. This meant that his talent and affinity for nen were not that high after all.

The amount of nen was just a stat, though. There were plenty of examples in the series depicting that raw statistics were nothing in comparison to mastering nen in itself. Chimera ants were, for one, much stronger than regular nen users. Yet, their techniques were often lacking compared to the hunters, resulting in their complete defeat. Yupi, for instance, got completely outskilled in his fight against Knucker and Smoke.

Greem could only do so much analysis in a split second and took out his coins. They were regular coins, but once in his hands, a blue and sinister aura started to shroud them and give off an ominous feeling to his opponent, who quickly descelerated and proceeded to zig zag towards him.

Greem is an emitter, a type of nen user that focused on detaching aura from their body, as opposed to enhancers who strengthened themselves. After four years of training, Greem found out that he had an incredible connection to money and decided to focus on recreating the coin gatling ability that had been shown by Gotoh, the servant of the Zoldyck family.

Makign the coins rotate at incredible speed, he could make them take any directions, turning them into unprecedented lethal weapons that could not be dodged or predicted easily. Over the years, he learned to be precise with coin launching not with one hand, but two, allowing him to double his firing rate.

*SPLASH*

In a split second, his thumbs launched the two coins which targeted the throat and the thigh of his opponent in curved trajectory following the Magnus effect law.

Like a goalkeeper not expecting Ronaldo's curved penalty shot, his opponent was incredibly surprised to see the coins touch him even though he had started his zig zag movements. His fast reflex allowed him to move his neck to the right slightly, but it still cut through flesh and terrifying bleeding occured. As for his thigh, the coin completed pierced it, severing his arteria.

As a surgeon, Greem knew the vital spots of his enemies and years of training allowed him to target them specifically from a distance, turning him into a dangerous sniper. The poor enhancer did not expect such grievous wound, but he still was an enhancer. As he was losing a lot of blood, he focused his nen energy in his leg and neck, stabilizing the areas.

However, doing so allowed Greem to launch four more coins and incredible speed. This time, they targeted his heart, eyes and other thigh. Even if his situation was stabilized, his mobility was not recovered. He would die from these attacks...
