Chapter 19: All 4 of you have passed

Walking into the cabin, I see Leorio laying down on the ground. I walk up to him and shake him awake.

Leorio: "What happened?"

Esther: "Nothing much, except we're meeting up with Gon and Kurapika."

I support Leorio standing up, he looks up and sees the kiroko.

Leorio: "There's a Kiroko in the cabin! Esther, why'd you let it in?"

Esther: "Relax. Turns out, it's our navigator."

Leorio: "Our navigator?"

Esther: "Yeah."

Taking Leorio outside, the kiroko leads us to where the others are. I hear laughing from two people. Looking closer, it's two more Kirokos. The wife seems fine, is she also a kiroko?

Gon: "Oh, hey Esther! What happened to Leorio?"

Esther: "I let a magical animal get passed me. Turns out, they are our navigator."

Kurapika: "I can see that you did a number on it."

"Yes, indeed. Anyways, it is time to tell you if you passed."

Leorio straightens up, acting as if he's healed already. I point between each kiroko.

Esther: "So…which is what?"

Gon: "Oh, the one that was holding the lady was the husband. And this one is the wife. The lady was also actually their daughter and he is their son."

Esther: "I see…"

I can't see! Maybe if they spoke, I can tell the difference?

"It's been many years since someone could tell us apart."

"How fun is that?"

Leorio: "Can you tell the difference between face or voice?"

Kurapika: "No…not at all."

I point to each one.

Esther: "That one is the husband and that one is the wife. I can only tell the difference between voice, not looks."

The husband claps.

H: "Allow us to introduce ourselves. As Esther said, we are your navigators. Our family provides support for the hunter exam. The hunter exam site changes every year. It's quite difficult to locate."

W: "So we Navigators help by guiding the applicants to the site."

D: "But we don't help every candidate."

S: "We test candidates to see if they're qualified to take the exam."

D: "Kurapika."

Kurapika: "Yes?"

D: "You successfully used the most vague of hints to determine that we weren't spouses. Kurapika demonstrated that he is very knowledgeable. Therefore, he passes."

Gon: "Way to go, Kurapika."

Kurapika: "Thanks."

S: "Leorio."

Leorio: "Yeah?"

S: "You never realized my true identity. However, you dressed my injuries faster and more thoroughly than any doctor. Most importantly, you continued to reassure me that my wife was safe. Your kindness makes you worthy of taking the hunters exam. Thus, you pass."

Leorio: "Really?! Thank goodness…"

Gon: "You did it!"

H: "Gon."

Gon: "Yes!"

H: "Your super human physical abilities and powers of observation makes you worthy to take the hunter exam. You pass."

Esther: "Good job."

S: "And Esther."

Esther: "Yes?"

S: "Your insight in discovering my true identity from a faint needle mark and your quick thinking in a tough situation, is worthy of praise. You too, pass."

Gon: "Way to go!"

W: "All 4 of you have passed. We shall lead you to the exam site."
