Chapter 18

Akira woke up and did his thing, some light exercises, and stopped time then he picked up the wooden sword and trained until he couldn't continue, he went then to the pool which he filled with ice cubes, and dived into it, so that he recover faster (actually this is true it removes lactic acid faster), after some time, he felt energized enough to go out, and he decided against using *Time Reverse* because he will lose the progress he made physically.

*Time Resume*.

"today is the day the hero exam will be, hmm i won't go there i will patrol the streets so that i can see if there's any improvement to his swordsmanship, i will use a regular sword to do less damage" Akira said as he pulled his phone and called a number.

"hi Kamikaze, how are you?".

"hey, I'm fine, so how's the manual, if you need some advice on swordsmanship you can call and ask"

"thanks, but i want to ask you if you have any good place where I can buy a good sword?".

"oh that i know there's a man on top of a mountain 30 Km away from Z-city and he makes good swords, he might be annoying but he's one of the best" Kamikaze answered.

"I'll keep that in mind, but i just need something sturdy and able to slice for now" Akira said, 'why would i want to have an amazing sword right now, and i believe that to make one he needs months at least, when i have time I'll go check that man out'.

"okay then, there is a place in A-City where sword stores are popular, I will send you the address".

"Thanks for your help" Akira ended the call, and after a while he got the address and searched it on his map app, "this is really convenient" he smiled while thinking that he might be a boomer(talking bout myself), he wore normal clothes and went to the address.

"there's a lot of people, he wasn't kidding, i thought that swords weren't going to be sold, i mean there are guns and a lot of weapons that are more convenient to a normal person" Akira said while observing this environment where people were wearing traditional clothes and kimonos plus some heroes with different costumes.

'it doesn't matter, now which store should i go to' he didn't want an amazing sword just a regular one, he went to a store in the corner, it didn't have any costumers, different from the other ones, so he became interested and wanted to enter, but some guys having guns holstered and knifes stopped in front of him and the leader said "my friend, please choose another store, this one is off limits" he said with a threatening smile, but unfortunately for him, Akira wasn't the type to let people push him, so he decided to enter.

while this was happening a black haired pretty girl wearing a white dress came out from the store's door and said to someone behind her "Dad they are threatening another customer, at this rate we won't be able to pay our debt" she had a crying expression.

Akira heard that thanks to to the body enhancement he got from the Child emperor, then he smiled 'i can avoid this drama by just going away, but what's the fun in that, hehe'.

he then activated *Time Speed* and punched the leader, then broke the arms of the guys behind him, in a second they all fell on the ground moaning in pain some fainted.

After the commotion some people threw up seeing limbs broken, while some were curious about it, then a middle aged man came out of the store with that same girl 'so it's the dad huh'.

"oh my god, why did you do that?" he asked with a hopeless look.

"they threatened me so they payed" Akira smiled.

the girl hid behind the man's back after seeing Akira smile, now that she was near him she looked like a 13 year old girl.

"thanks for doing that if you want something from the store you can take it for free" he said in a life less manner which made the girl cry.

'so he's not dumb, he know that the guy who sent the thugs is the same one who they need to pay, but why would he do that? i wanna know'.

"wait, i want to talk to you alone" Akira said to the the man who was returning to his store followed by his daughter.

the man then turned to glance at Akira's eyes.

"okay".
