Chapter 14
Cato followed Flaithri and Arlan as they weaved their way through the campsite. So many questions filled his head. The fact that Boudicca’s wound closed in moments right before his very eyes still astounded him, and rightly so, he thought. This was the land of myth and legend where the gods still roamed the earth. It was the only reasoning Cato could come up with.
“Is this necessary?” He asked waving his bound hands in the air. “These hands just saved your precious mistress.”
“And for that, we are eternally grateful,” Arlan whispered. “However, it is important for us to obey the Alpha’s commands.”
