Chapter 27

Jake Pov:

 We successfully dock the ship and stop it from falling all the way down to the ocean. "Alright, good, now we just need to get the stuff from the ship and set up," I tell them as I head over to the ship.

 "Jake?," Emma calls out and I look back.

 "Yes?," I ask.

 "You said the way to get here was the Dragon Triangle. It was a maze and you had to follow a specific path to enter. If that is the case, is it the same for the Bermuda triangle? An are you alright?," Hannah asks.

 "Yes, and Yes," I answer.

 "Good, Then, what does the Bermuda triangle lead to?," Emma asks.

 "Atlantis, what else?," I ask as I get on the ship and go to grab my things. They just end up not answering so I leave it at that. With my stuff, I head out and wait for them as they don't know how to travel. Or where to travel to.

 Once they get their stuff and join me, I signal for them to follow me. We walk down and through a forest over an ancient path. "This is just a forest, what are you trying to...," Emma tries to say, before taking notice of something. We are in the middle of a town square, and there are buildings around us.

 "When, how?!," Emma asks.

 "Hiccups and Hannah's ancestors built this place, 1300 years ago. Their building, like the roman concrete, can withstand the test of time. The only difference is the growth of the trees and vines, along with other natural forms. Since I disturbed this place 2 weeks ago, the animals are staying away. But there are a multitude of them on the island," I inform them.

 I lead them through the village and to a house with a porch. That porch being at least 10 by 20. "What is this place? It seems familiar," Hannah mumbles.

 "It should, the reason for that is you might have an inherited memory, from an ancestor. This place was the home of the first Chief of this island, your ancestor along with Hiccups. They were the 9th Chief of the Tribe. The one before him was called the Greatest of all Vikings," I tell Hannah as we enter the building.

 "The one who built this, his runt of a son, was one of the best inventors in the history of the world. Coming alongside names like Leonardo Devin-chi and such. But his name was kept hidden due to the amount of enemies that he had," I finish as we look around.

 "If you follow me down this hall and to the right you will find yourselves in the family room," I call as I head down. I don't know much about these houses as I never checked them out.

 "Jake!," I hear from behind and I look back to find Emma and Hannah. They were hanging, upside down, from the ceiling?

 "What happened?," I ask as I go and cut them down.

 "It seems there are booby traps," Emma informs me.

 "It seems, just follow in my steps then," I say and continue. But just as I go under a beam, almost entering the living room, I find my feet dragged out from under me. I am now hanging upside down, and not able to move.

 "You were saying?," Hannah asks me.

 "I said that so you guys would not get caught, mind getting me down?," I ask to which they do so. From there we enter the living room and sit down on the couches. Me on one and the girls on the other.

 "I am going to guess that you guys are tired?," I ask, noticing their groggy state. We have not slept in a long time. We had been on the run since 7 yesterday, we left for the dock and then left at midnight, went through that secret path, and entered here for me to climb up multiple times and lift the ship up. We got no rest, even I am tired.

 "Yeah," Emma says as she and Hannah yawn.

 "Then lets get some sleep, we will explore the house tomorrow," I inform them. With that we head to bed.

Narrator Pov:

 The house they were staying in was the Haddock house on new Berk. It was made to house Dragons if needed alongside humans. It had three levels despite being 4 stories high. The first story took up 1 and 3/4 levels or 14 feet, the second took up 1 and 1/4 levels or 10 feet, then you had a loft for the final floor taking up 1 level or 8 feet.

 On the outside, the second floor had two balconies and doors for each. You also had inscriptions and dragon like figures on all houses along with dragon scale styled shingles. Back to the inside, across from where the trio is sleeping, there is a dining room and a kitchen on the back wall. Note the kitchen is medieval as it is 1300 years old.

 Now there are two remaining rooms on the front side of the house. One is a stairwell leading upstairs in a spiral staircase, that is across the house from the trio. The other room is storage for events like Snoggletog and such.

 The second floor has two rooms. One in the back for the kids above the dining room, and the other at the other corner. The living room had a vaulted ceiling so there was nothing there. This room was Hiccup and Astrid's room, and would eventually become their descendants, Hiccup and Astrid's room. Then the loft, there was an inlet to Hiccup and Astrid's room because that was where the Nightfury slept.

Jake Pov:

 I wake up to something I like and have not heard in forever. But also something I am going to refrain from for the time being. Opening my eyes, I look across the room at the other couch. There I see Emma and Hannah making out, while I am awake, in their sleepwear.
