As I read the screen it had questions. The first one I read out was [choose a dragon most suitable for you.] Once I had read that out a list of every dragon came up from bewilder beast to the red death and even a night fury.

The dragon that I chose was obviously night fury, nothing happened so I came to the conclusion that the system is activated by voice.

"I choose a night fury." I beamed, with me riding a night fury all that I could think of.

[please choose a core for your dragon.]

"What is a core?"

[it is the element that the dragon can summon/control.]

So if I remember correctly toothless should be a thunder type. I slowly scrolled through the cores till one caught my eye.

"I want a thunderstorm core."

As I continued reading what a thunderstorm core could do, I found out that it was just a much stronger version of the thunder core. Also it gives the dragon a light blue glow that pops out through the scales, which I think is pretty cool.

[Times up.] A familiar voice jump scared me again.

[According to what you have answered the survey will be filled out to meet your requirements.]

I sighed in relief

[we will now begin physical training.]

The place around me suddenly shifted to a modern gym.

[You will be given a required amount of training to do every day, the list goes

-100 sit ups

-100 push-ups

-100 squats,

-a 10 kilometer run

Every 30 minutes will instantly heal anything done, personal training can be done after this to speed up the process. This training will end in a year]

Although I'm no stranger to insane workouts in a comic, but how am I going to be able to do that. Despite it seeming impossible I did it without fail. Next thing you know 7 months have passed and I have a full 8 pack with muscles showing all over. I was a little worried that I would have become a giant but I ended up pretty lean.

[congrats on finishing physical training we will now move on to dragon training/fighting. This phase will last for approximate 3-4 months according to your recent growth.]

I was then teleported to the peak of a mountain that had a cave that was full of darkness. I look at the view once more and held in everything I was seeing. In a fraction of a second I was slammed into the floor with my neck between to dark claws and looking up, I saw a night fury that was double the size of toothless and growled at me with a light blue pare of eyes. I tried pushing off it's claw and was barley able to escape its deadly grasp. It darted away back into the cave still on guard.

"Hello?"

I saw a blue eyes open with a growl.

"It's okay, I'm not gonna hurt you."

I stuck my hand hoping the iconic scene would repeat itself, closing my eyes I hoped that my hand wouldn't be bitten off.

I felt a gentle yet rough scale like skin,Followed with a light growl or purr.

Opening my eyes to see the dragon had become exited filled with joy. I spent the night with the newly tamed night fury helping me keep warm. I woke up the next with the sudden urge to name it. I thought for 10 minutes and came up with.

"Alae!"

Meaning agile or lightning. Alae work up to the name already liking it and licking me. Making me gag in the slimy texture. 3 more months passed while me and Alae got closer and mastered fighting and flying together.

While I wasn't given a time to finish this training I really enjoyed blacksmithing making every weapon that came to mind and even custom designing a saddle for Alae. This all happened over the course of a year.

"What do I have more passive than active skills?"

[because of the training you would have only gotten passive abilities but you completed training much earlier than expected. Concluding that you will now be transport to your designated universe.]

"Wait!!"

With out me being able to do much I just ended up on a random island with Alae by my side thankfully.

"Wanna go for a night ride Alae?"

Alae nodded with excitement. Once we were high up in the sky I activated eagle eyes when I saw a island, and after 2 hours low and behold I found berk. I tucked into Alae to blend in and signaled to him to slow down and find a good place to land.
