They love me

The somewhat unbearable, uncomfortable and unfamiliar experience came to an end when the train finally arrived at the Hogsmead station. And none were more grateful for it than Victoria. She had to go through the whole train ride with Ron and Harry trying to get in cheap shots at Jon. Ted was reigned in by Tracey and Jon and if he had to sit with them for a moment longer he would have burst a vein.

All the students got out of their train compartments wearing the school uniform. 

Sirius then looked at the group and said, "I'll see you all later in the hall… I have to get going."

Hagrid came ringing the bell to round up the new students. Sirius saw it and went to Hagrid and they started talking. Jon looked at the new first years and smiled softly. They all looked eager and happy to be here. Many of them might even be muggle borns. It reminded him of his first time being at Hogwarts.

"Come on." Victoria said as she tugged on his shirt. Jon and Ted were wearing only shirts with the robes. Unlike the girls of their group. They all walked to where the carriages were standing by waiting for the students.

The girls started to get into one carriage and it looked full. Ted looked at the girls and said, "You guys go… we'll come in the one behind you." Victoria looked anxious she didn't want to leave Jon and Ted with those two egg heads. Jon waved them bye and Ted closed the door of the carriage and they were away.

Without saying a word Jon and Ted started to walk past carriages to the back of the long line of carriages and Ron asked, "Where are you two going?"

Only silence was the answer they could give to the two. Both of them found a carriage and they quietly went inside and sat down. "I still can't wrap my head around how you tolerate those two… they are so annoying. Always just yapping and about nonsense at that… just utter garbage." Ted complained with a scowl on his face twisting it with anger.

"Kinda have to… specially now." Jon said as he slumped back on the seat.

"I still don't understand, how both of them are related…" Ted sighed and did the same as his friend.

"There are little similarities but…" Jon stopped as the door opened and they saw two girls stood in front of the door with their mouths slightly agape. One had an average height and Red ginger hair, while the other stood a little taller than her and had blonde hair. Both were wearing the Hufflepuff robes. Both the boys recognised the pair. 

The red head was the niece of DMLE Susan Bones and the other one was her bestie Hannah Abbot. Both of them had grown quite a lot during the course of summer. Jon looked at the pair and said, "Ah… would you two like to get in?"

They both quickly nodded and rushed to get inside like time itself was about to end. Jon found it quite funny while Ted questioned as to what it was that made all the girls behave like this in front of Jon. They both sat down and Jon closed the door that they left open in a hurry.

Both the girls looked at Jon with a sense of wonder in their eyes even though they had seen him for two years. Their gaze grew sharper and Jon looked at his friend with a side look and asked, "What is happening?"

"I don't know." Ted replied and then Hannah laughed out of the blue and said, "Hi, I'm Hannah."

Ted and Jon felt weird and decided to plaster a wry smile on their face. Both of them nodded "And this is Susan." She turned to her and said in a hushed tone, "Say hi."

Susan's meek voice was barely able to get through the air and make it into their ears, "Hi."

Jon nodded and said, "Hello, Hannah, Susan… nice to meet you."

Both of them giggled and squealed Ted then looked at Jon and asked, "How do you do it?"

From one unsettling and uncomfortable ride to another they reached the school. But still this one was a little easy on their eyes. 

"Can I get your autograph on the album… my aunt is a huge fan." Susan said 

"Uh, sure… anything for a fan." Susan squealed again and Jon nodded and said, "I guess I'll see you later." Ted and Jon walked away and made their way to the Slytherin table.

Victoria and Daphne saw them come and both of them asked, "What took you so long? Harry's been here for 15 minutes."

Ted sat down across the girls and said, "We got tied up… Jon was flirting with one of his fans."

Jon looked at Ted and asked, "Who hurt you? And why are you taking it out on me?"

Ted shrugged his shoulders and Jon looked at the two and said, "I swear to Merlin's glorious beard I wasn't…" Both folded their arms and squinted at Jon and he said, "She… was a fan… so I was just being polite."

Ted chuckled and Jon grunted, "Will you please stop for the love of"

"It's fine" Jon turned and both of them smiled and said, "It's fine… we get it."

Jon sighed in relief and sat down as well. He then turned to Ted and solemnly said, "You'll pay for what you did today."

Ted then chuckled and said, "It's not quite possible you see… since I'm all alone."

Jon then got closer and said, "Well, then I'll make it so that you are not and then I'll exact my vengeance on you and this is a promise."

Ted hummed and nodded slightly, "Hmm, well I would wish you luck but since it's quite impossible… you'll need more than luck."

Jon and Ted staired each other silently "Dorks." Tracey said and they looked at her.

With the first year finally present in the great hall the fanfare began. The new students got sorted into the four houses. With the sorting done, Professor Flitwick and the students gave a very amazing performance then Dumbledore stepped up to the stage and cleared his throat, "Welcome, Welcome to another year at Hogwarts. Now before we all become befuddled by our excellent feast. I would like to speak some words.

First I would like to thank Mr. Sirius Black for kindly accepting the post as the new Defence against the dark arts Professor." Dumbledore clapped and Sirius got up Victoria looked really happy with him being here and I can say that I was happy as well since he won't have the same affliction as his best friend Lupin.

Next Dumbledore made the same announcement as Hargrid being the new teacher for the care of magical creatures. But there was another new face that was on the table. Jon looked at him with his eye's barely being open. daphne saw that and asked, "What is it?"

Jon half minded hummed and shook his head "Nothing."

Finally Dumbledore came to that man, "And I would like to welcome our new muggle studies professor Friedrich Müller."

A short man with a gut stood up, his hair golden and unruly. A glorious beard occupied most of his face along with wrinkled but none of them lowered the regal feel of the man. He did a little bow and sat down. Jon continued to look at him with this odd feeling gnawing at him. Like he had met with him.
