In the recording studio Jon and Lizz were taking a little break from recording the song. Most were in a happy mood to say, same could not be said about the two girls. They were glaring at Jon and Lizz together and sure they were happy that Jon was singing with someone talented like Lizz but they weren't too happy with what Lizz was trying to do.
"I don't like it." Tori huffed and looked angry.
"You don't have to say it twice… I'm not too happy about it either." Daphne replied to her friend in a calm tone.
Tori looked at her friend with a questioning look and Daphne quickly replied, "H-he's my friend too… and I don't like the way that she is looking at him."
Tori hummed and looked at the two chatting, "Look at him… laughing with her."
Daphne almost gritted her teeth and said, "You saw her touching him while they sang right?"
Tori hummed and nodded, "Yeah." They saw them both joshing around and they both almost growled and said, "We need to do something about it."
Suddenly the unknowing boy looked at his friends faces and they had a stiff smile on their faces. But suddenly they waved and he replied back in kind.
(Jon's Pov)
I thought I heard something and I looked to see only to find Tori and Daphne smiling and waving at me, I don't know why but I don't think that they were smiling, nonetheless I waved back at them and Lizz said, "I was thinking of doing "I knew you were Trouble"?"
I thought about it for a minute and her voice was good for this one and the melody wouldn't be that much of a trouble with Ed here so it wouldn't be that hard. So I nodded and said, "Yeah, not a problem with that… I'll work on it."
She stopped me and grabbed my hand and said, "I was thinking we could do that together… you know?"
I shrugged my shoulders and said, "Yeah, okay…" And again I heard a growl and I looked around and said, "Did a cat sneak in? What's happening?"
During the break time we landed on another song that we could do. And it's a good thing the melody wasn't that hard to come up with and Lizz and Ed here were my big clutch, they helped me figure out what I was missing and all of it. And after 15 minutes the melody was ready and we were too.
Ed sent the music in and we got ready to sing and Daphne and Tori looked a little worried but that might not be quite right. I waited for my cue. I tried to lower my voice as much as I could I wanted to come off as nonchalant or something along those lines. I moved closer to the mic and Ed gave me the signal and I started singing.

I saw the room to check for reactions and Florian and Ed were cool. Daphne and Tori also now had calm faces, I don't think it would last though.

Their eyes remained wide open and looked mortified with the lyrics. Specially the two of my friends, they were more paler than. I looked at Lizz and she winked and came closer to mic and sang with me on this verse.

The music almost stopped making everyone feel a bit of relief but Ed knew it wasn't over. We sang with the piano in the background and almost singing like we were singing to each other.

At this point I was almost sure that they won't approve of this song. But I still want it be perfect, for me. I can listen to it. It's one of my favorites. Lizz already backed up so as not to get picked up by the mic and I prepared myself and closed my eyes and sang my heart out.

This time it was Lizz's turn and she took hold of the mic and sang with all, I could feel it.

I vocalised the last part and the music stopped and we looked at them and Florian said, "I hate to break it to you, as amazing that was, we can't put this one out."
Lizz bumped out and I pursed my lips and nodded, they looked sad but said, "Oh no… bummer."
Lizz sighed and said, "Hmm, looks like we'll have to do that one then?" Her words made the girls shudder a bit.
I looked at her and said, "You sure, because if we do this one, then the one I'll release would look like a confession or something."
She sighed and said, "Yeah, I know… but they don't want this one though."
I shrugged my shoulders and said, "Yeah."
Tori looked at Daphne and she asked her dad, "Um, dad, I don't think it's that bad of a song… I mean it talks about… m-making l-l-ove… not killing so… it should be good?"
Florian looked at her daughter and said, "Honey, I know that… but they are like tweens… and Jon is like way young to sing something like this, not to mention the impact it could have on their careers and with Steven not being here, I have to think for both of them."
Daphne and Tori looked defeated and I looked at Ed and said, "We have the music for that one?"
Ed nodded and said, "Yeah… to be honest it's better than that one."
I shrugged my shoulders and said, "Eh, it's okay."
Lizz chuckled and said, "You're the one who wrote it…"
I looked at her and said, "I can be critical of my own stuff."
She chuckled and said, "Come on it'll be fun and didn't you say that we need the gossips going?"
I nodded and sighed, "Eh, what the hell, let's do it."
We took the position and the sounds of guitar and snare started to flow into our ears and Lizz looked at me with a very gentle yet mischievous smile and started singing.

Slowly the intensity kicked up a notch and that mischievous smile disappeared into something more serious. That I didn't understand completely. She looked at me and we sang together

I looked at her and she cupped her face and pulled herself back trying to control a chuckle

Florian and Ed were looking at us with confused looks and Tori and Daphne were still reluctant to enjoy one bit of the song. But we were concentrating to make this good. I closed my eyes and she grabbed my hand and I looked at her and she pointed at the sheet and we sang together.

We took a step back and we both danced a little together while the cue came and she looked really happy. Florian and Ed were laughing as well looking at us. The next cue came and the music was real low and Lizz softly sang into the mic.

I came forward and sang in the same manner with her together.

She made her voice more cheery and sang the next few lines.

I decided to fuck around in the last part. I mimicked pulling out a ring and sang to Lizz
🎶🎵I knelt to the ground and pulled out a ring, and said
"Marry me, Juliet, you'll never have to be alone🎶🎵
Lizz chuckled and gave her hand forward and I put a ring on her finger and she looked at it. The rest were laughing at my antics but the those two were not. I looked at Lizz and sang happily.

The music was now coming to an end and we both vocalised and sang together.

I am sorry guys that the chapter is this late, I was very busy with my college, it has finally started today. So the update schedule will be a little fudged, but I promise to upload daily cause it mostly just takes an an hour and a half to make them. And secondly, as you might have read from the title it's a two parter. 2 songs are done with Lizz only one remains and I'm thinking like doing "Save your tears" and also the long awaited, Rude! By magic will be there in the next chapter. So just wait till tomorrow and I will try and make it as interesting as I can.
