Ch.48 Unexpected show.
Next day walking up early I looked out to see it was starting to snow, I grumbled in my bed not wanting to go out but as a great man once said, 'The Grind Never Stops.' I reluctantly got up and stretched my body and yawned. I put on a t-shirt and shorts and went out of my room and into the garden out back. I must say it's more of a woods, than a garden but that just means more room for me to work with. I shuddered because of the cold, but I resolved my self and started my exercise. I had decided to up my exercise even more than before.
After I was done with all my exersise I was sweating profusely and I had warmed up and now the cold didn't bother me anymore. I walked inside the house only to see Florian and Bella having tea. Bella looked at me surprised and asked, "You went out there wearing that?" She genuinely looked concerned and got up and said adamantly, "Go and change or you'll catch a cold." She huffed and said, "Honestly I didn't expect you to go out exercising in this weather."
I was a little taken back by it but Florian chuckled and said, "You should do as she says… she is stubborn." She threw him a glare and he happily sipped tea. I chuckled and nodded, I was going to anyway.
I went to my room and took a warm bath and changed into new clothes, I wore a black t-shirt and blue faded jeans and sneakers. I looked into the mirror and I looked good, but I was growing bored of my hair, I've had it long for too long, maybe I'll get a new haircut today, let's see.
I took a stack of pounds and put it in my bag and walked out of my room. I stood in front of Daphne's room and knocked on it. "Come in." I opened the door and walked inside and I saw her sitting in front of mirror and she got up and asked, "How is it?" I looked at what she was wearing, it was a blue dress, but like an old one from 19th century or something, it made me chuckle and she scrunched her eyebrows "But, mom said it's good." and I said, "No, we are not going out like that… come I'll give you some of mine… we'll buy some clothes for you there."
She reluctantly followed me and I took some clothes out of my closet, I took out an old jeans, white t-shirt and a denim jacket. She looked at the clothes and she said, "So you want me to dress like a boy?"
I folded my arms and said, "Trust me, baggy clothes will in fashion and second of all, most girls in future will die to wear something of mine."
She scoffed and pushed me out of my room and I said, "Hey, it's my room."
She mockingly looked at me "My house~"
I chuckled and waited outside for her. She opened the door and looked a disappointed and said, "I look like Im wearing a tent." I laughed and walked closer to her and said, "Let me fix it a little." I grabbed the t-shirt and she let out a little gasp and I moved it up a little a bundled it together and tied it up on one side and took a step back and thought for a minute and she looked anxious. I then opened the closet and got a cap and put it on her head and said, "Now it looks complete."
She looked at her and walked to the mirror and hummed and "Better than before." I chuckled and said, "Come, we should get some breakfast before we leave."

After getting breakfast we stood outside the mannor and she asked, "Where's the car?"
I looked at her and said, "No, no, today we are doing things my way." She looked at me and I said, "We're talking the bus."
She looked mortified and I smiled, I put my hand up with my wand and the bus came after a few minutes, I looked at her and she grumbled and got in. We're going to Queens gate. The bus took off like a rocket and we reached our destination soon. Daphne got off the bus and didn't puke she was doing greater than me.
She looked at me and said, "Great, so now where?" I pointed at the shopping complex and she looked confused, "I thought it was an institution or something." I chuckled and grabbed her hand and we went on.
I did want to buy the music gear first but grabbing some clothes did become somewhat of a priority. I looked for H&M I liked that store. As we were walking inside she was flabbergasted. She asked, "It's like if some put the entirety of diagon alley in one place." She chuckled and I said, "The convince is a of the big pros of the place aside from tax evasion." She didn't understand the last part.
I found the store and we walked in together and she looked at the clothes and said, "They are a little weird."
I chuckled and said, "No, they are in fashion for now, what would be weird is you wearing that old dress here."
She hummed and nodded as she looked at the girls who were shopping and they all had the early 90's grunge look. Plaid shirts and shirts and high boots.
I looked at her and said, "So, pick something… come on."
She looked at me and said, "I don't know if I know what to pick."
I smiled and said, "Pick anything, do mix and match. I'm here to help you, but you need to find what looks you." She nodded and went on a shopping spree. Which wasn't a problem for me, but it did take some time after she was done. She took me to the changing room and I waited outside and looked at the line of guys waiting outside.
She came out with a black skirt, a grey hoodie with coke written on it and a high black boots. She looked at me anxiously and asked, "How do I look?"
I looked at her and she did look cute and I said, "Yeah, it's good." She smiled and said, "Wait, I have more."
She went inside again and showed me multiple outfits, all of which were either punk style or the baggy aesthetic ones. After she was done showing me the outfits. She wore the same clothes that I gave her. The clerk came and I told her to bag everything. I paid for everything and it wasn't that much like for 8 outfits it was just under 200 quids so good deal.
After she was done with her shopping, I looked for the music store and I found one It's was called Ed'z. I walked inside to find a tall man with curly long hairs behind the counter with headphones on and was listening to rock music, he looked at me and asked, "Hey, little bro."
I nodded and asked, "Where do you keep the looping equipment?"
He looked at me and was a bit surprised and said, "It's behind the counter, but aren't you a little young? It's expensive little bro."
I gave him a smirk and said, "That's not a problem for me."
He leaned in and ushered me to come closer and said, "Look I get that you are with your girlfriend and all…" Before he could finish Daphne quickly said, "Not his GIRLFRIEND." I looked at her and I said, "Ouch, at least take a bit of a time before you say something like that."
She grumbled and the man laughed and said, "Alright little bro, I have the Lexicorn JAMMAN. It just came… but it cost you a pretty penny."
I nodded and showed him the wad of cash and said, "Not a problem man." He hummed and nodded and "Anything else for you little bro?"
I nodded and said, "I want an electric guitar, a synthesiser, and a Casio." He looked at me smiled. "Got it little bro… come with me I got the new collection from Fender, you'll love em."
He showed me multiple one that came out this year and I liked one it was a black guitar I picked it up and he smiled and said, "it's the Eric Clapton… Starocaster, great for new and old music… give it a test." He pulled it to an amplifier and I thought about what to play and I got it. I played the riff from Dear Maria, Count me in.
He looked impressed and said, "Damn, little man that was fire… and here I thought you were just a rich kid burning your dad's money."
I chuckled "You working on something?" He asked curiously and I nodded. He said, "Want to play?" I thought of it and said, "Sure why not." He laughed excitedly and said, "Alright man, come with me." He picked up a bass from the counter and set up the ams and mics outside. I looked and some people were stopping to look what was going on. I was a little nervous and he saw it and said, "Come on man, relax… this is nothing, if you do bad… no one will remember… you'll be the 100th kid who embarrassed himself in front of strangers."
I looked at him and said, "Not, encouraging words." He laughed and again a girl came by. She was wearing plaid red shirt over a black cut up T-shirt and jeans. She looked at me like I was an alien and she asked "Ed, you seriously asked me drop by for this kid?"
"Rude." I looked at her and she scrunched her eyebrows and Ed laughed and said, "Eh, give it a chance… who knows might help me get some sales." She scoffed and took a seat at the drum set and Ed tapped my shoulders and said, "Come on, little man, you got this."
I felt as though I would throw up but I looked ahead and saw Daphne she gave me a thumbs up and I sighed. I coughed and cleared my throat and started the guitar riff.

People started to stop and then the music kicked in with the bass and the drums. Daphne looked excited too what the whole song was.

The crowd started to increase around the store and us and I was now feeling a rush coursing through me, I wanted to play more.

The crowd started to cheer and enjoy the music some were dancing with their partners, some were just banging their heads in the air. The whole crowd felt electric and more and more people started to gather.

She was shocked and people started to look at her and cheer for her and Ed started laughing. They started to tease her and she covered her face from embarrassment and I continued.

The crowd now felt like a little show, there might be around 50 or 60 people now. I took a breath while the drums kept the music flowing. I could hear the shouts from the crowd a few girls said, "He's so cute! Ah!" "I love you little guy!" "I'm so jealous of that girl, right now." I chuckled at their comments.

I looked at the crowd and they loved the song and started to show their appreciation by clapping and cheering meI said, "Thank you guys for listening." I looked at Daphne and she looked at my smile and she said, "Don't you dare!" I chuckle and said, "And please a round for my Maria." While pointing at her and the crowd cheered for her too, embarrassing her even more so than before.

The title of the chapter is exactly what I did. I didn't have an idea to do this but it kinda flowed that way. So I get many won't like it but, it is what it is. If you are one of the few who did like it let me know.
