Ch.45 Christmas is gonna rock

My life is not like a movie which is kinda ironic because, I'm living inside a movie and like many movies. I did get a good ending, for now at least. After apologising to my friends through a song and promising them that I will ask for their help and will tell them if I'm in trouble or doing something dangerous they forgave me.

I also had to tell them about being the whole me being the parselmouth thing and who my dad was, they did take it pretty well, if I'm being honest.

Now I wasn't that stupid to tell this to Hermione, I just told her that I'm a parselmouth and I stopped the heir of slytherin. She was still sceptical of me but didn't deny that I helped the school, I also asked her to keep this whole thing a secret from Harry and Ron. And she agreed, she said, "If those two knew what you did, they would definitely come to the conclusion that you were behind it all." which is accurate.

Well keeping the sad and depressing side aside, Christmas holidays are here and that means students get to go home and this time I was one of them as well. How you ask?

Well, as soon as Florian got the news that I would sing, he asked me to come to his home for the holidays so that we could record songs and make a new setup for Tv and its network. So this Christmas I won't be alone wandering the empty halls of Hogwarts, I'll be working/celebrating it at my friend's house.

(Jon's Pov)

I was looking out the window, the scenery of grassy meadows and the sunny sky had been replaced by white sheets of snow covering the plains and the snow clouds covered the sun behind them. I was thinking about the whole singing thing.

I have agreed to it and I have been practising instruments as well, like guitar and the piano. Professor Flitwik has been a great help to me and I have been improving my skills as the days went by. I was just worried if my songs would relate to the wizard folk.

"Jon." Tori called out my name I turned to look at her and she asked, "Everything alright?"

I nodded and said, "It's nothing, just thinking about work."

Tracey groaned and said, "How can you always think about work?"

I gave a smirk and said, "I was thinking about songs that I want to record, guess I shouldn't do it right?"

She gasped a little and said, "NO! You are doing it you promised!" I chuckled and so did Ted and she grumpily crossed her hands and sat back, "Jerk."

Daphne was sitting in front of me with Tori and Tracey and she asked, "What are you so worried about? We've heard your singing it's good."

Ted turned towards me and patted on my shoulder while saying, "It's okay bud, if you don't want to we understand."

Tracey scoffed and said, "You're just worried that he will be more famous that he already is." Tracey's voice rang in the ears of Daphne and Tori like sirens and their eyes widened a little.

"Brother is more infamous than famous to be honest." Astoria said while looking at a book, it was a comic that I got her it was Archies, I tried to get to her to read some other Marvel and Dc stuff but Daphne and Tori didn't let me. 

I nodded and said, "She is correct, maybe this could be a chance for me to clear my name… getting a good reputation" all of them nodded "And money." All the girls groaned while Ted hummed and nodded.

Tori shook her head and asked, "Forget about all that for a minute, what's the problem with the songs."

I sighed and said, "I'm just worried that my songs might not be relatable to the wizards, you know I've heard the songs from wizards, like Dance like Hipogryph, In my potion, Heart of Dragon. And I don't have anything like that."

All of them were thinking while Daphne just scoffed and said, "So what? You are doing something that you… it's unique and people will like it as we have. Just trust yourself, it'll be great."

I smiled and nodded "Yeah, you're right… and besides I have a plan to make it all a success."

They all were curious and asked, "What?"

I winked and said, "You'll see… it'll be good, new and… weird?" I just dropped a little hit to them thinking they might pick it but they didn't guess they might have to figure it out when I record the songs.

As we were about to reach the station and go our separate ways Ted asked the gang "Hey, I was thinking before the Christmas Eve we all should go somewhere do something, you know like hangout."

I hummed and nodded, "Yeah, sounds fun… but where?"

He shrugged his shoulders and Tracey said, "Eh, we'll figure it out…" She turned to the girls and asked, "You guys in?"

Daphne nodded but Tori pursed her lips and sucked on her teeth "I don't know, might have to ask mom about it… she goes hard on Christmas."

I nodded and said, "Just let us know." She nodded and we all went back to talking about other things but soon the station came. Victoria was walking with us but that was until she found James and went with her dad. So that left me with Daphne, Astoria we were looking for Florian and after looking for a bit, we found him talking to Susan Bones. I couldn't their conversationbut from their body language it looked that she wasn't happy.

Daphne called out to her dad, "Dad." He turned around by the voice of her daughter and he quickly finished up his conversation, he came towards us and I saw Susan leaving but while doing so she looked at me with intrigue. Florian reached us and asked, "How is my little princess?" 

Daphne had a little blush on her cheek while Astoria was happy, he bent down and hugged them both. Astoria was more accepting of the hug while Daphne looked a little embarrassed but didn't deny it and I might be a cause of the embarrassment because I was barely holding in my urge to say 'Awe' to them.

"Dad, enough…" Daphne said, to her father making him let go and then he turned to me and asked, "And how are you doing Jon?" 

I nodded and said, "Fine a couple moments ago but right now I'm delighted." Daphne threw me a scowl while Florian laughed. He picked up Astoria's trunk and we were walking towards the gate. I saw Daphne struggling with her trunk so I grabbed it from its handle along side her. She looked at me and I said, "I'm helping you..." She nodded and we walked together.

We stopped in front of a car, it was a grey Cadical DeVille and I asked, "Did you buy a car?"

He smiled gleefully and nodded "Yes." 

Daphne was shocked and asked, "Why?"

I looked at her and said, "What do you mean, why? Look at her…" She looked at me and rolled her eyes and Florian said, "Leave her be Jon, she can't understand the bond between a man and her ride." I sighed and nodded. "I know." She slapped my arm and said, "Just get in." Florian laughed and opened the Boot of the car. I helped him put the luggage in and I wanted to sit in the front with him but Astoria already hogged the seat, so I had to sit in the back with Daphne. We were on our way to the Greengrass manner.

"So why did you buy a car? I thought you said and I quote, "They are an ugly peice of junk, created by muggles. Who can't fly."" Daphne was pretty adamant about knowing the reason. Florian chuckled while he flipped some switches and the car started to fly and believe me this thing was going pretty fast.

As Daphne was looking out of the window, I moved closer to her and whispered into her ears "Maybe he is having a midlife crisis." She quickly pushed me aside and I laughed and Florian cleared his throat and said, "I bought this beauty because of Jon. He told me that cars are not how we remember them." 

Daphne scrunched her eyebrows, "But we had the latest book, "Muggle inventions and stuff…" Clearly they are behind a century or something."

I looked at her and asked, "There is book called "Muggle inventions and stuff…"?" She nodded and sighed in disappointment.

"Forget about that… useless book, Jon told me to go to the muggle side and check things out on my own, so I did. And by Merlin's beard, all the information on muggles we have is old." Florian said, while slowly descending down on when we landed, he turned off the engine and looked back at me and said, "We're here."

I helped take out the luggage but this time around I let Daphne carry her trunk and she did it but didn't look all that happy doing so. I guess she wanted me to carry it. As we walked inside, I saw a woman dressed in a blue, with the same blonde hair as Daphne, walking towards us. She had the same calmness to her as I see in Daphne but she also had this aura of elegance to it as well. She stopped in front of Florian and said, "Welcome back." She said with a smile on her face, which threw me off a little.

She then looked at me with a gentle smile curling up on her face and asked, "You must be Jonathan, we're pleased to have you as a guest in our home."

Her voice was very soothing like the gentle voice of a siren. I was a little dazed by it but Daphne brought me back with a very impactful elbow to the stomach. I coughed and cleared my throat, I looked at her and nodded "Thank you for having me."

Okay guys this is start of a new arc. It's a musical arc along with Tv network business set up deal and all. So it may take like a new chapters and after this will be the summer arc.
