The Trip

"I want to travel for a bit before I start Hogwarts." I said pulling the bandage off quickly.

"Well where do you want to go kuu keiki? I'll get us tickets no problem." Uncle Rock said with a charismatic smile.

Scratching the back of my head nervously I said "I mean I was hoping to go on my own..."

"How would that even work no one will be okay with a little boy walking around without an adult?" My grandmother asked looking worried.

I was trying not to look at their faces as I sat there explaining the myriad of charms that can make me go about unnoticed with the use of my dads wand. I also explained that I could use the house tent my dad had gotten for the quidditch world cup his senior year.

"This 'notice me not' and 'disillusionment' spells would be quite useful but what if you are caught by chance?" Uncle Rock asked.

"If caught I could use the confundus charm to make them think they were just confused and let me go." I explained.

"Moopuna, why do you want to go?" My grandma asks sadness in her voice.

"Tutu, there is so much of this world I want to see. With my imagination, intellect and magic seeing the wide world we live in inspires me. What if there is something I could make with either tech or magic that could make people's lives better but I never see the need and so I don't. I want to change people's lives like you two have changed mine. I feel I have to do this before im stuck in a school for 7 years where everyone lives like they never grew beyond the middle ages." I said with determination looking into the eyes of my closest family in two lives.

They looked to each other my uncle sighing and rubbing his bald head. "Okay." They both said at the same time.

"Wait for real!" I shouted jumping from my seat and hugging both of them.

"Of course moopuna, but you still have to take your school tests before next year and just because you are traveling doesn't mean you can't call your Tutu. We were already rich in love but now we can afford you to call internationally and collect thanks to you!" she laughs.

I smiled knowingly "Well I planed for that as well." I said pulling 2 large shark tooth charms out. "I made these for you two. They work off a variation of the protean charm. You will have to keep them away from electronics but with them i will be able to send you short messages when I can't reach a phone that way you will know I'm okay." Thank you Hermione for the solution to that issue.

A few days later I am standing on the beach at dawn after saying goodbye to my extended family. My grandmother and uncle were saying goodbye to me. "And you have the different moneys you will need?"

"Yes Tutu, uncle Rock got me some pounds, yen, and if I decide to visit Castelobruxo I'll stop by our hotel there. Maybe you would take a vacation and visit a different paradise." I laugh gesturing to the beautiful beach of the island we live on.

Tutu with a cheeky grin says "A vacation! Lord knows I need one dealing with all the stress from my boys without you around."

"Go on now." Uncle D.D says with watery eyes. "Before I try to keep you here, your dad would be so proud of you." He hugs me as tight as he can knowing I'm the only one that can take his full strength.

"Aloha!" I say walking towards the water as my charmed boots start to be splashed. "I love you! I'll tooth-text you guys when I hit land!" I will the waves to jump up into a heart shape as I dive in the water before they can see the tears that are starting to form in my eyes.

Staying around five meters deep I go into superman pose and go from zero to Mach 5 in a few kicks. My first stop would be LA. Most sailors would go around the north pacific high, but most couldn't breathe under water and travel the distance in an hour and a half at a relaxing pace of 6174 Kph. After passing through the anticyclone I was approaching the California coast. I casted a notice me not charm on myself and cruised to Long Beach. Casually stepping out of the ocean I started to walk through the city that I hadn't been to in this life yet. After messaging my family that I am in LA. I found a awesome breakfast burrito cart and enjoyed a conversation with the sweet little Mexican lady who ran it in Spanish.

I made my way over to Compton walking around the city unobstructed. Walking by a park I saw a young family practicing tennis. Walking over i realized that I was seeing Venus and Serena Williams practice. Seeing some thugs eyeing one of their sisters I walk over to them. Deciding to make their lives a little better I confound the boys to view Richard Williams, the girls dad, as an OG. Seeing the respect of the girls boundaries and a bit of fear in their eyes from what they were doing made me feel satisfied.

Finishing up with the boys, I go over to the tennis court doing a quick transfiguration and ending my notice me not charms. "Excuse me!" I shouted waving my new racket when they look over at me by the gate. "I was hoping we could have a match."

The girls lit up with smiles and looked at their dad excitedly for permission. "You any good with that thing boy?" The 'King Richard' asked me.

Pushing down my indignation at being called 'boy', one of my biggest pet peeves in both lives. "Your girls are great but I think I can be a challenge. Do you want to play 1v1s or me and your dad vs you two?" Walking into the court.

From off to the side the boys I confounded saw me walking in. "Yo Rich, this kid bothering you?"

The look on Richards face of pure confusion almost made me laugh out loud. "Nah, he's cool." He said with his brows furrowed trying to figure out what was happening.

"Aight, you let us know man we got you OG." Patting his chest and throwing up a peace sign and getting back to their basketball game.

Serena said with an ear to ear smile "I'll see what he's got he's not going to want to play again if you whip him to bad Venus."

With all her sisters now getting hyped up Serena got ready to serve. Being a hypersonic super human genius playing tennis was not hard for me. But I kept the game really close trying to draw out as much skill as she could give. Each shot was at the limit of what she could reach in time, and I only let the very best shots past me. Eventually the game was over with my win and an excited but exhausted Serena on the other side of the court. I used some hydrokinesis to make it look like I was sweating the whole game and went to congratulate her on a great match. 'I think peak human is a whole lot higher in this universe than my last this explains uncle D.D's strength and Hawkeye as well'.

"That was a great game! You are a beast! Just keep working on your stamina and I'll bet right now you will become a champion." I said excitedly.

"You know thats what my girls are champions. Where did you learn to play? You were all over that court." Rich asked me.

"Back home in Hawaii." I lied.

"No way!" Venus said "You are from Hawaii thats so cool."

"It is haha." I said being proud of my home. "Here I'll show you a picture." Jogging over to my bag I unshrunk and got out my small photo album. Inside were pictures of me surfing with uncle Rock and some photos of our long house and my huge extended family.

"While I take a break and get ready for our match you can look through these. My name is Ryan by the way." Shaking everyone's hands. I have been going by Ryan since my last life and saw no reason to change it considering it was my middle name in this new one. While they were going through my album I walked back to my bag and unshrunk a water bottle drinking it down and answering questions.

"If you are from Hawaii what are you doing in Compton?" Rich asks.

"I'm staying with a family friend he goes by Dr Dre." I said doing a very discrete minor legilimens trying to get if he knew an area he lives in. Which was my original reason to go to Compton, I wanted to see the original NWA. He had an area that he knew them to be around so that was a good enough starting point for me.

While Rich and I were talking my super hearing picked up the sisters whispering about a photo of me surfing without a shirt causing me to blush and say "SO! Ready for the next match?"

"Oh yeah you're going down surfer dude." Shouted Venus.

"Stay humble girls." Rich admonished.

"Yes daddy." All the girls chimed together.

Venus and my match went much the same way, me drawing all I could out of her making shots harder and harder until she was worn out and I won.

"Incredible you're both outstanding!" I was inwardly gloating that in the future I could say I beat these two champions.

Richard was impressed I could be Serena but flabbergasted I could beat Venus. "How!?" He kept repeating.

I was talking to the girls ignoring him. "The only thing I have either of you beat on is pure athleticism. If you both increase your physical training I wont hold a candle to you im sure." I said with a smile trying to push these Future Champs even harder to see how much better they could be.

"Are you going to be in the area long?" Venus asked.

"No sorry. But if you guys want I could give you my home number. If you leave a message or send a letter to my family I'm sure we can stay in touch they should be able to get ahold of me." I said networking had always come easy to me.

A half hour later I left the park area and applied some charms and hydrokinesis to clean myself and hide my presence. I left towards where Rich thought Dr Dre lived.

It didn't take me long to find his house. A bunch of guys were on his porch beat boxing and rapping. Undoing some charms I walked up to the group bobbing my head and getting into the flow.

The guy who was rapping saw me walking up and decided to take a shot at me he said. "Whats up little Mexican, showing on our steps again. Trying to get down with the niggas your gonna have to try to win."

"First off, I'm Hawaiian. But I'm down to get my time in. Rapping with some brothers, I'm trying to get my shine in. I'm the best, you're others, you know I ain't be lyin. Busting down on the beat, you see I aint even tryin. I spit magic call it hydro, my flow be flying. Bein' beat by a ten year old must be incentivisin. Haha I'm out, but its been good to do some rhymin." I passed it off but everyone was to busy going 'OHHHHH' and running around like crazy.

After they chilled out a bit I asked if the doctor was in. The guy I asked shouted into the house "Yo little home coming through looking for Dre." Turning back to me he says "Go on he should be in there."

Walking in and enjoying the weed smoke in the air. I walked to where I heard a keyboard being played and low and behold a young Dr Dre was playing a beat. Listening for a minute I recognized the track and started chanting "Bitches ain't shit, but hoes and tricks."

"Oh shit kid thats fire. I'm gonna use that as the hook." Dr Dre said.

'Oh shit I just started that song. That is so awesome.' I thought stoked.

"Hey come over here say that again so I can record your kiddy ass voice saying that shit it'll be dope." Dre recorded me saying that a few times and said "So whats up little homie."

"Oh right!" I said excitedly. "So I came to Compton to see if you would sign my NWA record and kinda just meet you I'm a huge fan."

Dre looked at me like I had two heads. "Where are you from?"

"Right! My name is Ryan and I'm from Hawaii nice to meet you doc." I said extending my hand for a shake.

Taking my hand and doing an elaborate black guy handshake. He said "Shit, you came to Compton just to meet me? Well im glad I'm going to put you on a track now hahaha!"

"If you are serious about using my voice my rap name is Aquaman." I said smiling unshrinking my NWA record and a sharpie and pulling it from my bag for him to sign.

"Yo Easy, Ice get in here." Dre shouted.

I got more excited when my super hearing picked up Ice Cube saying "Shit negro what he want now."

Dre handed the sharpie and album to Eazy-E who looked at it and said "Who the fuck is Aquaman?"

"I am!" I said to both of them "Huge fan by the way."

"Ha! Certainly a little fan." Ice cube laughed looking at how small I am. After he signed the album as well Dre handed it back to me.

"The other guys aren't here sorry little homie." Dre said.

"No worries this is great thanks guys! Oh before I forget this is for you." I hand a voucher to Dr. Dre. "This will get you guys a vip room at my family's hotel in Hawaii for a week stay. Just got to get your own way there."

"The Lapu 'Oasis?" Ice asks from over Dre's shoulder.

"Yeah it means spirit oasis. I designed most of it my self." Putting the record away and grabbing my album again. "Here are some photos." Pointing at some pictures I explain "This is me and my uncle surveying the land. And here is me breaking the ground and there is opening day 4 years ago. So you like it?"

"This is dope as fuck!" Eazy-E said. "If you weren't so cool little homie I'd have some buddies kidnap your little ass."

"Ha." I laugh "I wouldn't recommend it for your buddies sake."

That gets me some weird looks but no further questions about it. Dre says "Shit, Aquaman is on the album for sure now."

"Alright guys I saw this place called pop's chicken so I'm going to head out. Just call the number on the voucher to set up a time for your room there. If you like your stay put in a good word for me with other famous people you meet." I start walking out singing "Bitches ain't shit but hoes and tricks."

Leaving my super hearing picked up Dre saying "That was wild as fuck." And the others agreeing.

Leaving the house saying bye to the guys out front. I reapply my charms and head to dinner having skipped lunch. When it got dark I went back to the park I met the Williams at and went to work improving the court with transfiguration and runes to keep it together. The only issue they may have now is the Camcorder Richard uses wont last as long and any radios might short-circuit. The last thing I did was make a metal plaque on the ground by the entrance engraved "Venus and Serena Williams future world tennis champions." Smiling to myself I pick a spot in the park and set up my dads tent and a butt load of warding charms.

I woke up with the sun and magicked away my tent. I went back to the little cart that had the breakfast burritos and got a few saving some for later. I went back to the park under charms and got to see the amazed and excited to the point of tears family checking out their new court. Happy knowing that they enjoyed it I headed to Hollywood. Seeing the sights and checking out the walk of fame I decided I was done with Cali and walked to the beach.

I arrived at Venice Beach enjoying the vibe for an hour or so. I walked into the water and after a few meters I dove and took off towards Tokyo. Deciding i didn't want to spend too much time on the trip I kicked my hydrokinesis into gear going around mach 20 traveling nearly 5500 miles in in about 20 minutes.

Arriving in Tokyo bay I took in the enormous city before me. 'I have no reason to be here besides wishing to have gone in my past life. I have plenty of yen I might as well spend some. Ramen sounds great to me. This should be an experience to ramember haha I crack myself up.' I was strolling through the streets of Tokyo sniffing out a Ramen spot literally. My heightened senses led me to a small shop selling Ramen and gyoza named Rinrin. It was crazy cheap but I knew I could trust my nose so I ordered a bowl. While my bowl was being made I looked over and saw a little old lady hand making pot stickers and asked for two orders from her. We talked in Japanese for a bit and she told me about places I should visit or eat at in the city. When my food was ready I indulged my weeaboo heart and shouted "Itadakimasu". Everything was delicious and when I left I thanked the lady for the advice.

I spent 2 weeks in Japan trying food and seeing sights. I called my grandma at least once a week and sent them notes like 'Ramen is so good' and 'arcade games here are great.' After checking out most of the city I hopped into the river and shot out into Tokyo bay heading south. I had a cruising Pace as I made my way into Indonesia and around Papua New Guinea heading to another city I wanted to visit Sydney. Heading for P Sherman 42 Wallaby Way Sydney Australia while singing 'just keep swimming.' I chatted up some sharks on the reef and headed to the opera house to start sightseeing. Eventually I headed over to New Zealand and saw where they would eventually shoot the lord of the rings movie. I only spent about a week there. I was itching to go to England so I decided to speed up my trip. I spent a day each in Hong Kong, Bangkok, and Mumbai. The language barrier was barely an inconvenience to my adaptability. The food was fantastic no matter where I went thanks to my nose finding the best smelling grub.

I cruised through the Arabian Sea then to the gulf of Aden. I decided to mess with a group of Somalian pirates and turn all of their hair pink. I laughed about it with a group of dolphins that live in the area. They're creepy but they have a good sense of humor. I went from there to the Red Sea stopping at Cairo for lunch. I decided on Greek for dinner and headed to Athens surf flying disillusioned from Cairo to the Mediterranean Sea. When I got above the water I shrank my surfboard and reattached it to my necklace diving down from about a mile up into the sea using the water to make sure I didn't mess up my bag I would have been just fine hitting at terminal velocity.

I arrived at the acropolis of Athens and thought 'I wonder if the Eternals stayed here. I should have visited Kingo when I was in Mumbai. I'll have to see if I can see him next summer. I could lie and say I was sent through dimensions and hung out with him and the crew in a alternate reality.'

I had dinner and camped under heavy wards in the Park of Nea Smyrni just because it was conveniently there. I shot through the Gulf of Corinth and made my way around the boot of Italy to Naples for brunch. After eating I went to Rome and spent the rest of the day sightseeing and pigging out on Italian food. Being a 10 year old boy I didn't go anywhere near the Vatican but I enjoyed the Coliseum. I'm glad that in this life I can say more then Ciao Bella in Italian even if I wasn't fluent.

After camping on the ground floor of the Coliseum, just to say I've done it, I hit the sea again. I rocketed through the Strait of Gibraltar and headed to one of my bucket list from my last life the beautiful city of Lisbon. I spent five days here enjoying the beautiful architecture and working on my Portuguese. The seafood was heavenly and the city truly felt like a Melting Pot. I made my way up the French Coast and then across to London in the matter of a few hours enjoying the sights along the way. Cruising up the River Thames I stopped at the Tower of London. I was finally back in the land of my second birth.

I walked through the streets of the city of my mother taking in the sights and sounds. I stopped for fish and chips after sniffing out a pub of quality. After having my fill I went to Charing Cross Road and walked untill I found the Leaky Cauldron. Taking a deep breath and not removing the notice me not on me I walked into the pub.
