After exploring the sights for a couple minutes outside of the main path of the street, Michael headed through and searched around until he came upon the bookstore.
Flourish and Blott's books
Heading inside he found rows upon rows of shelves seemingly heading further back for an extravagantly long distance.
The scent of paper ink and oils filled the space.
After asking one of the attendants, and gaining direction to the history section. The space was roughly four shelves long and two floor high, quite small compared to other areas of both magic disciplines and fiction book, but still larger then some of the more obscure topic he came upon his journey here like alchemy and wand craft.
Quickly revising the title and topic of many of the present book and comparing to what his class would require. He found most of the prime book he needed were present for most topic like ancient Europe history, magic and religion, modern magical history and a lot of pureblood biased heritage books. Some of the missing book he will have to special order are those around philosophy, unbiased heritage books, muggle and magical history comparisons books, myths and legends and finally some socioeconomic history books.
Michael seeing the sore state of affair on the public display reapproached the attendant he talk to previously, and obtained a larger catalogue of book they could sell, from authors that didn't meet the owner requirement to get a spot on the shelves, aka weren't selling in comparable amounts or weren't expressly approved by some of the minor pureblood certification boards, or from a reputable author.
from this extended list, Michael found most of the book he wanted for the classes except a modern philosophy book, the only apparent ones were either mainly pro/anti pureblood centering books or ancient Greek philosophy book usually only outlining one specific philosophy. What he really needed was a comprehensive philosophy book that held multiple perspective from many people and cultures.
See this Michael headed out into muggle London to find a bookstore, eventually after finding one and scouring the philosophy section he came upon just the book he needed. quickly buying it he took it with him back to Flourish and Blott's, where he got them (after showing proof of being hired by hogwarts) to copy the book into their catalogue so the student could buy it there.
So far the list of book he got for the classes looked like this.

Being finished with the list he quickly wrote it all down and then went to and owl post and penned a letter to Minerva McGonagall and included the list for the subjects materials.
After all the work was done he relaxed and began explore the many stores around diagon alley. After around an hour of sightseeing he finished his day with a explosive lemon ice cream at Florean Fortescue's Ice Cream Parlour which tasted like a lemon Sorbet with pop rocks.
Michael then went back to the Leaky cauldron to get dinner and have some sleep to prepare for tomorrow.
